I think that The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt and its sequel The Pirate: Plague of the Dead both deserve a mention. They may be mobile games, but if you want a great pirate experience, you can't go wrong with either.
Excellent titles, I especially adore "AC Black Flag" & "AC Rogue Remastered" which I ironically bought & downloaded into my PS4 Pro recently, along with the strategy guide. I played "Sid Meier's Pirates" on my 1987 C-64 many moons ago. I own a couple Pirate games in my original Xbox collection as well.
The 2 assassins creed games are definitely the best of the bunch😀 I wouldn’t mind playing the original Sid Meir’s pirates just to compare it to the remake. Are any of the pirate games you have for the original Xbox ones not on my list?
@BigJimGaming. I only have "Pirates of the Caribbean" on the original Xbox & "Bloodwake", which has modern day Pirates. I also have "Risen 1, 2 & 3", some of which have a excellent Pirate action on the 360.
@@vinniecorleone62 I’ve got one of the pirates of the Caribbean games on the PS2, I debated including it but decided not to because it’s not a terrible game but I wouldn’t call it good either, I haven’t heard of bloodwake before I’ll have a look at it 😀👍🏻

@BigJimGaming. "Bloodwake" was a original Xbox exclusive, just think of a "Twisted Metal" game with Pirate speed boats on the ocean.
