I admire your commitment getting your original model fixed as often as you did, it shows the fat models can be kept going with consistent maintenance, although yes I think we both agree that a later model and separate PS2 is a lot easier in the long term 😀👍🏻

I’ve always got at least a couple of games on the go on my PS3, the library of games is so vast I doubt I’ll ever run out of games to play 😀 I appreciate the information about the hdmi cord on the super slims with the larger storage, I didn’t know that, it’s a good tip to know 😀👍🏻

I completely agree, as I said in the video my super slim is spot on, definitely an improvement over the phat model I had before. The smaller memory doesn’t bother me as I only play physical games and very few install, if they do there’s enough room and 12gb is plenty for game saves 😀👍🏻

@@stashmerkin9576 I was planning on doing that with mine when I got it but I never got round to it, I do have another super slim I got for £5 with a dodgy laser that I’m going to fix soon so I have a spare, it looks easy enough to replace, I will probably make a video out of me doing it depending how well it goes 🤣

You’re probably right, I stick to my iPad because I’m really useless with computers but I’m genuinely tempted with something like a steam deck, I do want to buy something to try out emulation at some point 😀👍🏻

@@BigJimGaming. I plan to probably get a Steamdeck at some point as I have a bunch of Steam games I've bought when sales happen that I never play as my computer wasn't powerful enough to play them. Though I got a newer computer I haven't tried out yet. But I'm wanting to hack my Switch to emulate games on it as I hate doing it on the computer. But I may instead get a Steamdeck as emulate there and use it to play my Steam games. I'll probably wait and see if the Switch 2 gets a must have game when it launches, If not, I'll probably get a Steamdeck OLED. Or I'll see what sales happen on black friday.

@@colt5189 my only concerns with a steam deck are for myself are; will I be able to use it as I am genuinely useless with computers, I can see myself selling it after a few months because it’s too difficult for me to work so not fun for me. Also as is it’s been out a year or two I don’t know how long before they launch a more powerful “steam deck 2” and the current one is out of date. I might be better off buying something like an Anbernic for £60 or £70 and asking a friend to use their computer to put Roms on it for me

It’s Shakedown Hawaii, same devs but this game is in a 16 bit style and retro city rampage is in a 8 bit style. Retro city rampage is a good fun game too I just prefer shakedown Hawaii 😀👍🏻

Absolutely not. It was designed for a 32-bit CPU, used sprites but also 3D models too. 3D models were used for the map.

Hi, as has already been said the original PlayStation was 32 bit and I think it had some other technology in it as well to allow the 3d games. I remember when it first came out and being blown away by the graphics compared to the 16 bit Sega mega drive I had before, I still play PS1 games but the 16 bit style that came before it seems to have aged better than those early PlayStation games now 😀👍🏻

32bit. X86 pc release first. Then ps1.

Honestly when I made that video I didn’t take PC into account just physical copies of games, I’m not up to date on digital games as I tend to only buy digitally if there’s not a physical available

@@BigJimGaming. ah, well yeah almost every game on the list is in my steam library. But there’s digital games stuck on the 360 like splosion man. It’d be cool to maybe see another video before the stores are down because we’re about to lose a good amount of games this month.

@@BigJimGaming. Really? I know alot of people didn't know about that. I first learned that when I first playing it when I was messing with the controls. I never was a fan of the normal size they made it. I like to see things in full screen instead. That's the only flaw I really hate about this collection. Other than that I loved it. I was also disappointed a little when it turns out the comics on there was just 1 comic to read. While the rest was just covers. I did also like how they added more Sega games which was good at the time since I like to play other games instead of sonic all the time. Also I was a little disappointed that there was no Sonic CD nor any of the other sonic games that were messing. Later I found out that the only reason they put them in another collection on the gamecube is well.... Money of course. Shame that didn't never made a PS2 released.

@@Solidier1 I would have liked Sonic CD myself, I’ll look into if there are any other collections that maybe have some different games on them, always good to have variety 👍🏻

@@BigJimGaming. on yeah. I like how the steam version of sega collection that people added other sega roms on there which Sega doesn't care at all ( did at first). Sadly the took the sonic games off cause of the new collection which is way much expensive.

The multi cart is genuinely my most used cart for the DS, loads of good games and the saves even work. I’ve never understood why Chrono Trigger is so expensive I’ve had that copy for years and got it fairly cheap before it became highly priced. Ridge Racer is the only 3ds racing game I currently have, you’re right it’s a big improvement graphically. Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it 😀👍🏻

@@BigJimGaming. Yes one of the reasons it's good is because they re-use music/SFX from the Metroid Prime games.

I think part 3 should be on there somewhere. Good call with Area 51 I played it earlier this year for the first time, very good game. I’ve just started another PS2 FPS called Black which seems to have a good reputation and I’m impressed with it so far 😀👍🏻

I completely get your point, I honestly don’t play farming sims myself, but the farming here is only a part of the game not the whole thing. If there is still a free demo on the e shop give that a go and that should help make your mind up, I ended up really really liking this game and I didn’t expect too 😃👍🏻

I’m sorry but I don’t know why that has happened, I only downloaded games and save data for the games I didn’t try to download video clips

I figured it out. The iCloud saves game progress but the sd card saves the photos and videos. So my photos and videos are still there, they are just on my old micro sd card :)

I know what you mean, I wonder if they put Min in it less because Vaas in 3 was so popular they didn’t want any unfavourable comparisons. I now realise I should have said in the video that Instincts isn’t a straight port it is more of a remake as there are quite a few changes from the PC version, as there are the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. I’ve just rewatched that part of the video and I definitely should have done that section better than I did

I do want to start collecting for the game gear, I’ve never played one before and I didn’t think to check these against it (I should know better than to trust what it says on the label from AliExpress 🤣) On the bright side they still work well and are fun to play. Out of interest are the games different on the game gear flashcart you’ve got? If they are different I might order it for myself 😀👍🏻

I honestly haven’t played the master system or the game gear before (I would like to collect for the game gear in the future) but thinking it through it does make sense they would be easier roms to make play on a GBA

Definitely GG, Sonic 1 is a dead give away cause his nose is missing on his sprite compared to the Master System version.

I just looked up his filmography on Wikipedia he’s been in a few things I’ve seen, it also said he also voiced a character in Syndicate a PS3 game I recently picked up, I’ll listen out for him when I play it 😀👍🏻
