106 Sega Games On Gameboy Advance - GBA Multi Cart From Ali Express

I’ve been having great fun with some of the gaming things I’ve found on Ali Express, this time I’ve got a Gameboy Advance multi cart with 106 Sega Mega Drive Game, or Sega Genesis games depending where you are in the world.
Let’s see if it’s full of 16 bit goodness or a crushing disappointment.

These appear to be master system and or game gear games and not Genesis or megadrive rom's!

I honestly haven’t played the master system or the game gear before (I would like to collect for the game gear in the future) but thinking it through it does make sense they would be easier roms to make play on a GBA

Definitely GG, Sonic 1 is a dead give away cause his nose is missing on his sprite compared to the Master System version.

I just got the AliExpress GG Flashcart. Those are definitely Game Gear games (the greatest handheld of the 90s)

I do want to start collecting for the game gear, I’ve never played one before and I didn’t think to check these against it (I should know better than to trust what it says on the label from AliExpress 🤣) On the bright side they still work well and are fun to play. Out of interest are the games different on the game gear flashcart you’ve got? If they are different I might order it for myself 😀👍🏻

i have this cart not used in ages but if i remember you can hold both shoulder buttons to get a menu to change setting

A nice video but the audio in the intro when you are talking to the camera is a lot lower than the next segment.

I’ve just realised having read this comment that I forgot to raise the volume of the audio on that bit and the last bit when I was editing the video, my bad. Looks like I’m not quite ready go pro as a video editor 🤣🤣

Like the others have said this is not megadrive games, these are gamegear or master system games.

I genuinely didn’t realise that at the time but yes they are, I should know better than to trust what the label says it is considering where I bought it 🤣
