I would definitely wish if you made a video explaining support counters, I wanna main support but not too sure how to go about counters, or filling whatever my team needs so I'd love if you could explain those two concepts sometime c:
There isn’t a lot. Sure there are counters but you’re better off picking 2 supports you like, one enchanter and one engager and just stick with them no matter what. If you have a hyperscaling adc play the enchanter, if you have something like Tristana take engager.
Ban whoever you hate the most, I always ban lux or pyke depending on meta. Personal preference.
I think supp counters matter less than adc synergy, like the previous comment suggests. ADCs like Samira need an engage support, late game scaling ADCs need an enchanter.
They don’t matter just lock whatever champ you want.
@@xPixelParrot While those are true I feel like they are not too significant overall besides a few rare cases, try playing Senna into a Pyke, Janna into a Maokai, Pyke into a Soraka or any hook into Taric; also just having a better idea of sub-types of Supports might give a better overall idea on how to play the matchups as botlane in general does not come naturally to me - and for the "pick whatever" part, I genuinely enjoy playing most supports so knowing when to pick each one sounds better than just randomly picking one anyway

I started playing Thresh again at the end of the 14.5 patch, and it felt really good with the proper team. Now it feels really good again; I really like maxing E almost every game due to the slow and the dmg you can deal with your empowered autos. Thresh is always so fun to play and I love that our beloved chain demon is meta again.

Hii ShoDesu! I'm curious are you ever going to give Nami another video guide? I really loved your last Nami guide video, and since Nami got a new patch where her dmg got nerfed but healing got buffed, I'm now struggling to know what to build.
been trying to pick up soraka but there's been a LOT of ranged carry support games where it's just so painful to sit there and try to land Qs while your adc is also basically doing nothing not wanting to engage.
They must simply be scared since she seems frail and she's not a tank 😂😂 paired with nilah, Draven, samira...she's op af

support life baby... i really enjoy renata but asking low elo ADCs to know how the Bailout buff works is a losing proposition. I see a lot of them watch their screen go pink and immediately start running away from enemies like they're getting nocturne ulted lmao

As a Nautilus main, it's a very hard feeling when you are behind because you feel it SO MUCH.
Leona is my secondary and even when i'm behind, she is still tanky and lot of useful CC especially with the low Q cooldown.
i really dont get why anyone would ever play nautilus honestly. You have Leona who has way more CC, Rell who has more CC and movement, Blitz who has better CC, Rakan who is faster and heals, and Braum who is tankier.
Azzapp may disagree with your vel koz rating, as he has made him the highest wr support in master and above. Of course even azzapp says that vel is the worst champ in the game so maybe not.
yeah if u play well u can make many champion to be a good sup, i played wukong sup full lethality but with the recent lethality changes i dont feel so sure anymore bout the tech, its often rock paper scissors in the botlane, so some sups are not good to first pick
I want to onetrick one support champion (Twotrick if picked/banned I guess). Thinking the pick has to be okey blindable as of this, what do you suggest? I am currently gold, aiming to climb to like emerald I guess is somewhat reasonable. I have been a Sona onetrick bf but not sure if it is worth onetricking it due to what you say here in the video, it can be quite difficult laning against very aggressive lane matchups and if you fall behind it is harder to have an impact.
Glad to see that a high elo player shares my opinion on Nami - that she fits every team comp, has great poke, healing and a strong cc. She is my main from the beginning, but this split I basically OTP’d my way to gold with her! You have to play her a bit to get the good feeling of your Qs (it finally clicked for me recently) but when you have it you can bubble everyone with ease and just spam mastery when they die to your team lol. Fish for the win!

All lanes lost, and I feel like I am useless. I can't play toward any side of the map. It's all losing. But I feel like a Challenger like you :) would know strategies to recover this game state.

As a bard main I miss the early patches this year where I could 1v1 junglers off one item + bloodsong but that's probably why he needed to be nerfed lol

So, soraka is weak against engage champions like blitzi and pyke but also atruggles against long range mages... when to pick her than?
Soraka being weak into pyke is the most wild take ive ever heard.
@@kyrotecnic6652 i mean, as long their stuck together as contrahents into a lane, soraka is just an immobile squishy without hard cc. she's even weaker into pyke, than lux. she gets her value in the mid- late game, but you dont have to let her get there.
soraka is in a realy wierd spot right now, weak to all sort of engage champions in the earlie game and weak to the current meta of long range mages that outpoke her earlie while arguably even scaling her out in the late game. seraphine has the potential to be more usefull earlie mid and lategame cause of their designchoices on her abilities combined with the current movement mechanics in the game, that directly buffed her biggest enemies wich are assassins with dashes.
it takes way more caution to be able to become into the carriing position as soraka now, i think they should buff her on a way, that it does not need a warmogs to become that +30 minutes power healer, they rather bake in more sustain into her kit and make her lifedependend healing a bit more cheap. she shouldnt be one hp after healing a champ, cause forcing her to recall every 2 minutes takes away her abilitie to impact the map big times. soraka wins games where your team doesnt run down their lanes, but more often than not 1-2 lanes run it down wich makes it incrediblie hard for you to keep the game in your favour
it is currently getting better for her, since the support items have changed, but before it was possible to last hit minions as a mage with spellthiefs, it was realy easy as the enemie to either force soraka into risky plays so she could have a chance to proc her gold item at all or poke her out entirely withoutthe abilitie to proc her item.
example pyke, blitzcrank, nautilus or leona play ing supersave , only last hitting for procs without offering a chance to proc sorakas item at all
or xerath or seraphine, only longrange poking making her unable to get in range to proc her item so by the time the wave crashes on xeraths tower, soraka is so low on behalf of HP, that she is inviting their jungler to come and she cant realy help pushing without inviting the enemie lane into jumping onto her. expecially xerath can run her down at 6 with his ult from a save distance.

Senna got deleted as she deserved it. Renata is super safe, never changed, always good(unless enemy or your team has more than 2 ap or cast carry). Sure you have to do more than most supports but reward is absolutely huge
wouldnt agree with Shaco in c tier, maybe AP Shaco is c tier, but AD is definetly A tier. With the rise of crit adcs he is definetly bumped up a bit due to him being really good early game while crit adcs are really weak

What is your advice for winning with her?
@@007IceBox Don’t stay attached to your adc. This is the big Yuumi mistake. You want to be autoing the minions to help push fast. In most cases pushing is good, but also, the less minions there are, the easier time you’ll have hitting your Q. You also want to do this because if your adc isn’t good, or if your mid laner gets super fed, you can switch them to your best friend much easier and have them snowball more. I actually recommend taking boots with Yuumi because her roams are more powerful than people think. Her ult slows up to 50% and so does her empowered Q and never underestimate the power of double combat summs. You can make the enemy mid laner’s life hell if you know your roam timings. Just remember that you still support the entire team, not just one person so you want to be pretty much as active as you are on any other enchanter. Oh and if your adc goes in, after you use your Q and E SO LONG AS YOU ARE SAFE AND ALL THE CC ABILITES ARE GONE (I have to emphasize that because you just die to cc 80% of the time. You can get away some times if you have boots) hop off and throw some auto’s. This is actually a something that all enchanters need to do more, not just Yuumi players

Yeah gotta agree with the guy above. Everything below masters has it's own meta. Like how Braum sorta sucks in my elo because I rarely get teammates who try to fully take advantage of my kit and I end up being useless
