I’m not one of those weird people 👀 😂! I haven’t eaten a turnip since childhood either. I love sweet potatoes. I feel they should have chosen just one root vegetable or mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes would have been great with this. Thanks for the review Kevin.

Kevin, could one of those be parsnips? I have never eaten a parsnip but they are a white veggie. I’d think they’d but more meatballs in there.

I love turnips, rutabaga, parsnips, sweet potatoes… and I thought that was hysterical… I am not offended at all… you are correct… turnips and rutabaga can be bitter if cooked improperly… you have to boil them, drain the water and then boil them again… I think… one of my southern relatives made them and they were amazing… of course he mashed them with tons of butter and cream.. lol We really only had them on holidays when he would make them… they were a lot of work. Kind of interesting that they didn’t pair the meatballs with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles though…

I do not like turkey meatballs, they are to spongy for me. I like meatballs that have a less ground up texture. I grew up on root vegetables so I like them but I think I would pass on this meal. The review itself was great as usual. Thanks Kevin😀
