Wow, what a SEVERELY underexposed effect! This could be used for water splashes, painting on letters, decorating a cake, SO MANY possibilities! Thank you for the well-explained video man, liked and subscribed!
Also could be spoof or jiz
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much for actually playing around with the settings on-screen and talking about what each one does. So many other tutorials just say "enter 8 in this field" but never explain why or why we might want to do something different. You covered all the bases. Subscribed!
This AE Effect series is awesome and its really important to get our AE basics right.Thnx.
Finally! I’ve watched a lot of tutorials, not just after affects but many other programs… And usually the tutorials are terrible. They start out with rock ‘n’ roll music and they stumble all over themselves… Just atrocious. You are a breath of fresh air… The way you explain things the way you talk the way you show things is exactly what we’ve all been looking for! You are terrific!
Dude this has gotta be one of the best AE tutorials I've ever seen. Not only is it so well explained and concise, you show how the effect works in tandem with other effects which leads to a little inspiration. Easiest subscription ever.
Glad you liked it!
Love these dig ins into some of the overlooked effects in AE
Fenomenal effect!
I can see a million uses for it!
Happy new year, Jake!
What a brilliant tutorial, wow. Love this breakdown. Exposes a lot of possibility in just ONE effect
Happy new Year Jake!
Thank you so much for helping me solve problem with adding tears to my footage 👍

Thank you Jake. I really appreciate for your work.
Big Thanks Jake! Never used, but can remember a fewer times that could been so useful! For product pack shots (Candy, ice cream, toys, you name it...) Never too late! And happy 2022!
Another great tutorial! Thanks! Happy New Year 2022 full of success!
Keep Going! Happy 2022!

wow!!!!!
I would have lost a million-dollar bet if someone had told me there was a built-in AE effect called "Glue Gun". Never heard of it or noticed it until this moment.
Hahhahahahha good call me too
Mega!
CC Glue Gun: of ALL the Jake In Motion's detailed AE effect tutorials viewed, it's the most. Would you have ever guessed?
It baffles me to this day. I wish I knew the secret ingredient so I could hit 100k+ on each tutorial. Maybe more glue gun?
This is one of those ugly useless effects...but once you start tweaking the settings like you did, you can get very awesome and realistic effects! Thanks Jake, you explain so nice! Big hugs! :)
How to scale this effect?
Help please.. How to make cc glue gun object moving with other objects by scaling?
I made some nuts and chocolate chunks which are floating near a coffee glass and also I need to make floating parts of liquid caramel... But, the think is all the objects should appear at start of the video and disappear at the end by scaling. But the adjastment layer with my floating caramel doesn't scale despite I made it a 3D layer, tried to parent it to a null object.. Could you please help me to solve this problem?
Jake would you say the composite effect is something you use quite often in your work? Because every time I see it used I get the feeling this is something I really need to be taking advantage of. However in the past I would fiddle with it, get frustrated, and then fall back probably into old habits.
Yes, CC Composite comes up all the time in my workflow. Definitely watch my video covering the effect and start looking for opportunities to use it.
how to make sphere with glue gun??
I have no idea where I ca use this.
Did you do this

nice
Yh If you could just go ahead and show us the effect in practice at the start or end of the video that would be great.
Very cool tutorial! But the plugin I would put in the top 3 most useless.
Are you challenging me? 😉
@@JakeInMotion a challenge to what?😃 What I'm saying is that this feature doesn't make the weather.
Looks like I need an excuse to start using glue gun lol
good stuff, slow that curser down a little... feels like a tilta-wirl at the fair...
✨👌😎😉😎👍✨
At first glance: wow, so useless. After watching full tutorial: wow, so much possibilities
And then end up forgetting when you need it. And cant find the tutorial

That's true, the explaining is really good!
