Someone give this man a recording contract.
"with no Soul" ?? What are you talking about ?
But it's just your subjective opinion, isn't it?
this conversation was cancer!
"But he plays with no soul" dude what the fuck
You have a negative effect in your ears, this was played full of soul!
Probably the most beautiful interpretation online.
Have you ever heard Nelson Freire's record of this piece? Its wonderful!
late reply but you can find a recording of Krystian Zimerman but not on CZcams
Thiago Yeah, but way too fast for me.
Love the facial expressions :D
I have a few of my own when playing this piece.
The dislikes are from people on the far end of the bell shaped curve. Ignore them. They would click dislike if Chopin himself was playing.
They should be highlighted in green as it can only be envy. Paul is a genius, a true all round artist as is his wife and Emilie is following in her parents footsteps.
@@angelaevans8632 I think he might be.
This was the one used in the movie "The Pianist" - so beautiful.
Everything Mr Barton touches turn into gold
Paul, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite pianists. The Feurich sounds wonderful. Thank you for posting.
Brilliant rendition, Paul!!.. One of my favourite Nocturnes by Chopin, your performance is to my mind, one of the Best I,ve ever listened to, indeed!! congratulations!
I'm really impressed by the fact that you were able to perform this piece almost exactly how it was written but still were able to retain the emotion that is so deeply rooted in it.
Beautiful rendition of my favourite nocturne!!
Beautiful . You deserves a million views.
We're so lucky that someone who so appreciates great beauty is both able and willing to share it with us!
Thank you, Paul.
The best version I have listened to. Simply BEAUTIFUL.
Beautiful, clear and lovely. I like this performance very much. Thank you.
Beautifully composed and beautifully played. Loved the slow tempo and the dynamics. ❤
Прекрасное исполнение! Спасибо!
Very beautiful and nice played, thanks.
A lovely interpretation of one of my favorite nocturnes. Well done!
Stunning performance on a magnificent piano
Interprétation et expression de toute beauté !! Mr Barton ....
Bon piano
Beautiful and sensational! thank you!
Beautiful performance!
What an amazing performance!
impressively delightful!
Beautiful Style of playing. I really like that.. tnx tnx tnx,,
Very very well played Paul. I like your interpretation as it’s not rushed and you are playing attention to every single note ! Your piano also sounds magnificent.
Wow, your piano has an INCREDIBLE sound! If I had such a sound on my CP33 digital piano I certainly would still be playing ...
Beautiful piece incredibly well played :)
This piece was the biggest stepping stone in my daughter's musical path (gayatrinairmusic)! Your Chopin Op. 10 no. 4 tutorial helped her a lot to accomplish the required standard. Thanks
I always had the issue of content claim from other labels, but the content you provided helped to invalidate all the claims so far.
That's beautiful Paul. Your piano has a very warm sound too.
Beautiful
Très beau. J'attends avec impatience le tutorial quand vous aurez le temps.... Merci Paul pour toute votre aide partagée avec tant de gentillesse.
excellent interpretation! i liked very much
Very very beautiful playing!
i'd like to know why 5 people disliked this.
you played technically very, very good! and emotionally honest.
thank you for this one.
Beautiful Paul. Thank you so much for this performance. XAngela
Gran interpretacion... un toque muy europpeo. Es lo que la musica clasica lo define
BEAUTIFUL
PERFECT!
BRAVO...BRAVISSIMO!!!
😂
I wholeheartedly endorse the statements in the disclaimer AND this performance.
PERFECT!!! Chopin is proud now xD Greetings from Poland!!!
I try to play like you.
Thank you for uploading , Paul .
love your feurich 218
Woww so beautiful 😍 💕 💖 ❤
I would second that. I would love to hear Paul's interpretation of that powerful piece :)
Awesome!! Refreshing interpretation... Simply my favorite one. Why don't you performed live recitals?
I love your statement at the beginning... it just gets on my nerves when people exploit the rules and regulations, especially regarding copyright
Supreme playing.
Lovely
amazing
This is close to perfect. Exactly as written, beautifully phrased. As good as anyone.
Love your play as much as Sung Jin Cho's!
Amazing :)
You're amazing.

*Roman Polanski
Perfect tempo! And when I mean perfect I mean perfect. Absolutely spot on. I've been waiting for an interpretation like this for ages :D
who are the 5 idiots that disliked this beautiful interpretation?
Wow...
That was beautiful Mr Barton! It brought a tear to my eye. I wanted to ask you if you could upload Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C sharp Minor Op. 3 No. 2 as I am currently learning it.
well played
I got to play this for my Jury this past semester
Finally!!!
You are good!
i'm not sure why but this is the only interpretation of this nocturne i can enjoy..
beautiful playing. actually, i think this recording shows that even if in a steady tempo and correct rhythm, one can execute chopin beautifully. nice instrument by the way
not only that but, his fingers have a very warm sound as well which is really the hardest part of this piece.
i'm speechless... its perfect.. are you considering making a tutorial?
wow! amazing...
The sound of the Feurich piano above is not heavy on overtones, it is more of a (beautiful) smooth mellow sound. Of course, with any piano I think, as you increase the volume, more overtone content will come out. But it is one of the characteristics of the Horowitz Steinway that it emphasizes overtone content even when played at the softer volume levels. I happen to love that (but for some people it's too harsh, they may prefer this Feurich).
I like Chopin^^...
Hi Paul. Can you tell me, which is harder to play - this or the raindrop prelude. I am trying to choose a couple of extra list pieces for my exam and am not sure of the differences in difficulty. I have already started the raindrop and its not impossible for me, but I'd love to learn this too.
Robert
Sir , please let me know how to calculate bar 57 ,58 and 59
Bar 57 is 18 against 4.
Appreciated
Hi Paul I have a question, how do you do the ending part of the song with the 8… notes so well? I took a closer look at your fingers and it seems you do it so effortlessly despite it being very fast at that part?
😍
4:12 Very well.
What the fuck. No words......
Paul, dude, why i do not see you on TV
Dr House playing piano
I realized once again that I can't play this nocturne well :)
Those 5 people are individuals whose opinion on how this piece is properly interpreted is ridged causing them to revolt toward any difference in sound than what is acceptable in their minds. They may think it is superior to think in such a manor because of the notion of respect toward the composer but it is only a manifestation of the childish want that everything must be exactly how they want it to be and if it isn't a little fit will be thrown instead of acceptance for the inevitable change.
hey i don´t know exact how to play the first fast run i play a bit more 1 year and can play everything but the triplet sounds like im riding a horse :S maybe someone can help me
339lenny did you fix the problem ?
thanks mr chopin haha this comment is 2 years old i fixed it :D
enjoy your evening :)
wow eric clapton
Cyprien Katsaris style ;)
timeless and still relevent
not first
On the contrary, you used 5 words, 3 of which signified immature shock and the inability to act in a decent manor in the public eye. So in that sense, many words...
una manera de estropear una bonita musica
Sergalba Nuki a qué te refieres, explicate?
I generally like your playing but you seemed unfamiliar with this piece.
yes i'm sure he is very unfamiliar with this piece...
how so?
