Is it envy, ignorance, competitive spirit, or simply human nature? The answer really does not matter.
Happy to report that I was fortunate enough to follow your videos, shoot with you and implement your processes into my practice. 18 months later, groups, chrono readings and hit percentages at local PRS matches have all improved considerably. This can all be proved objectively. Your content provides a clear map to improving the entire shooting discipline. If your serious about shooting at a high level and take great pride in your daily process, you’re on the right page. Greg knows his trade! Hi Greg, this was an excellent, logical presentation. I liked the quote: "No wise man makes negative comments on CZcams." Wise men seek a knowledgeable mentor's example and test it for themselves. Any negative comments come from folks who haven't even tried what you teach. How can you judge someone or their techniques you have yet to investigate? I consider you a mentor in so many ways. I am testing what you teach, which works well for me. It would take me years of struggle to learn this information independently. I would rather listen to you and gain from your wisdom and knowledge. Thanks for what you do.

Hey Greg, I’m new to hand loading, but I’m trying my best to follow as much of your advice as practical with my equipment. Like the above comment, I would have taken years to work out even part of the information you have explained.
Please continue, likely I will never reach the level of reloading finesse detailed on your channel, but you’ve most certainly improved my processes beyond measure.
Would love if you could do a video detailing your reloading process from start to Finnish, as you do so many detailed steps, and it’s a little tricky for me to decide what to do first!

I was lucky to find you early as I got into this and started reloading. Picked up some great tips that cleaned up some of my early processes and now I take everything I hear from you and go and test it for myself. Majority of the time, it works well. Maybe not everything is going to work for every single person, but the information you share is vastly superior to most out there and will help out the great majority of people. I know I can trust in my CPS and when I can afford the next big upgrade, I am going to test out the PrimeWhere system as well. Greg thank you for your content. Your knowledge of shooting, reloading, and firearms in general, surpasses that of many. I have learned so much from you in the short time i have been following you. I believe that people who are the haters, most times are the ones who aren't able to do the things that are being taught. Their failures demand that they try to bring the teacher down a peg or two, to try to take the highlight off their own inability or insecurity. The haters will hate, the wise will listen and add to their learning. Wad teaching my boys about not keeping an argument going just yesterday. For lack of wood, the fire goes out. Hi Greg, don't worry about the haters; instead, let's pray for them. Truly, it's a sad state they must be in. Besides, there are many of us who gain insight from you. For me, I'm usually able to combine it with what I already know to move the needle in a positive direction and shoot smaller. Likewise, there's many things you describe that I've already found to be true in my own right. Honestly, I take what I can from you and others and test it to see if it can work it into my own system to better myself. If even, mostly, I can rationalize what you often say to be reasonable or true. However, if not, I'll test.
I'm not sure why, but this episode brings to mind Noah for me. Anyway, keep mixing your content with Jesus, and I'll always stand with you. Praise God!

If only this video were as watched as the infamous brass brush in the barrel video.
I, too, had struggled with arguments. Sometimes, I made an incorrect statement but the vitriol just made it worse. I was raised to never back down, ever.
But then, I was able to step back and look at myself, sometimes, laugh at myself. I cannot control the feces-throwing ape behavior of others. I can only control my behavior. Learn from my mistakes. And also see a weakness in others. I accomplished more of making a point by following evidence instead of just outright arguing.
And in the end, true, it does not matter what another person thinks of you. And others will lie. For example, the phrase "to play devil's advocate" in order to have the "appearance" of being non-biased. This could imply that the person had a bias but wanted to appear to not have a bias. This makes the appearance a lie. It is more honest to admit a bias and to state what originates that bias and then entertain new evidence that may change your opinion.
And you are so right. We do not gain competence and skill by reading or debating. We get it by doing the activity. And yes, the argument from authority of wanting your credentials is looking for ways to discount you, regardless of actual credentials. It won't matter, you needed this one more credential, and on and on.
As for credentials, I have known people in my trade with licenses who were incompetent. What is more important is the knowledge.
Or even to decide what is the job of the rifle. For example, your prairie dog set up. You need bullet performance more than you need a single ragged hole. Therefore, you get the best performing bullet and then just stay in the range defined by your cone of dispersion.
The new take-away that I get, not having considered it fully before, is that some of these people are not capable of not being contentious. They could have gotten that from family life. I know I did. I was raised mostly by mother and she was strict and tough-minded. Sometimes, I hear her voice in mind when I am speaking about something, especially in frustration and anger. So, I cannot save others, I cannot save myself. Others need to work through their own problems and all we can do is let God handle that.

What you said transcends merely shooting topics and addresses societal behaviour and feelings around your identity...well expressed.
I guess when you're gaining knowledge or learning one may be more insecure and outspoken ..but once obtained ...varying opinions are of no real concern. Etc..
I liked that you mentioned a shift in poi after reloading .
Holding zero seems to be an issue ....and at times I'm left thinking ..I'm shooting badly...at fox....then when I do check zero...I'm sometimes left thinking...what happened.
Bedded rifles, Loctite blue on mount threads..sphur qd on thermal scope.....
    Is it the scope
    Mounts
    Reload change poi
    Neck tension
    Temperature
    Position.
Last change was about 3.5 inches at 200 yards...just enough to create havoc...
The equipment and reload process seems to be Diligent..annealing., good scale...
I've enjoyed the journey of learning..and always seems more to learn.
When it comes to learning...I always think the content...the information...is more important than who delivers it...that is...if you think about the info.
I've noticed you've raised many points that no one else has...over time....kudos..
At this stage...the reloading trend or direction...seems to be debunking alot...as per ...statistical irrelevance of small groups...primer depth, neck turning..flash hole...etc..as per Hornady podcast..
Inner case volume seems to be the next thing ..air gauges for internal volume..
I'm left wondering...if ocw is debunked...more powder means more velocity...there are no flat spots...and testing for seating depth is possibly almost futile ...unless you shoot alot...then...what matters... internal volumes....powder weight...neck lube.
    Thoughts ..
    Keep well.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I think a lot of people (viewers) use this type of Content to take short cuts in learning or becoming an (expert) on a particular subject, like reloading. This simply isn't possible in my opinion. You do have to put in the work. You have to take advise from guys like you and TEST it with your own reloading practices to prove if something works for you. If it doesn't work out, you don't go and bash the creator for simple making a video of his findings or best practices. You move own. To be honest I don't agree with some of the things you have made videos on, one being the "Neck Tension" video or not calling it Neck Tension. I still don't agree with you on that but I not going to call in to question your creds because of it. (BTW I went back to watch it and can't seem to find it).
