You mentioned it before in your discussion in regards to how to bring in more players - graphics optimisation. It's a game which can look pretty but doesn't have to look pretty. A higher variety of units is great but not at the expense of it crunching some of the existing player bases PCs! Keep up the good work!
I argue its not pretty enough!, zoom in on the units and those are some unpretty textures probably for the very reason your talking about.
games in development will save optimizing for later because it could easily waste time re-optimizing
Red really went all in in the whole Command and Conquer game haha. Wish Acid shot was given to the scorpions too.
You only need acid if you have super high hp enemies.
The scorpions close to one shot lvl 1 mp and vulcan at the double shot point. Only enemy that calls for acid lvl 1 or 2 is fotress/warfactory. And acid bonus dmg helps blue more by this standard.
@@dtly50 And do note acid + double shot will apply the acid bonus immediately to the second shot.

I'm just saying that acid shot was overkill and posed more risk to the warfactories than anything on blues side, which were all light-medium units, and even if blue suddenly went fortress, the leveled scorpions would have one shot them.
check out the scorpion on the left at 17:58. It loses emp debuff, fires a shot, gets emp'd, and the shots disappear midair
Oh DAMN you're right 🤣So if a unit loses it's ranged tech as a projectile is mid-flight, the game re-thinks if the shot should be possible?? That's so interesting - to me at least.
@@CobStrategy I don't know if I've ever seen it happen elsewhere! It could be that, or it could also be the unique case of the firing mode on the scorpion. It's the only unit in the game with an alternate firing mode that has a travel time, after all

look at 20:12 the long range Scorpion has shots in the air, gets hit by EMP, and now it falls short. That is interesting.
No anti missile doesn't work against scorpions.

i like how the tower debuff literally doesn't affect scorpions because they don't move and instakill anything they touch regardless
Looks like that number of scorpions and their tech upgrades are very inefficient because very often they fired at the same target.
Might be worth it to upgrade GPU while waiting for the graphics optimisation

It looks like this should run decently on a 10 year old gaming pc.
no performance problems here, maybe buy better gpu.
