I actually messed around with Gosen Polylon a few years ago.
The Volkl Cyclone outshines the Gosen Polylon in every category except two:
Gosen Polylon is probably a better hybrid string because it is not shaped

Just tried this string did not like it. Did not try full bed I string hybrid Gosen microsheep 17G crosses and Cyclone in mains at 48lbs blade V6 no CV. My preferred string & my gold standard setup is Tourbite 18G mains with Gosen Microsheep 17G in crosses at 47lbs in my blade pro 16X19 haven't found anything that compares (spin, power, control, precision) plus super comfy. Cyclone is harder to control feels a bit erratic & too flexy & heavier than Tourbite. I string my own and have tried many strings. natural Gut, Multi's like Head velocity MLt are pretty good but a little erratic and break within a set. last Velocity MLT setup I blew out 6 strings on a forehand 2nd set of playing so went to Poly/ Syn or gut Hybrids which works well for me but prefer stiff poly for the hybrid setup & don't like full beds of poly
