How to make the best avocado toast? It's simple!
All you need are perfectly ripe avocados, fresh (preferably sourdough) bread, olive oil/butter and 1 small secret ingredient 😉
This avocado toast is perfect as a healthy breakfast recipe, healthy snack recipe or even a meal with some protein on the side.

*INGREDIENTS*
Bread (I'm using sourdough)
1/2 avocado
Olive oil/butter (for toasting on the pan)
1 clove of garlic (to rub over the toast)
Salt and pepper as needed
*Topping ideas*
Sauteed mushrooms, pan fried tomatoes, fried egg, fresh cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, microgreens.

Having your own avacado tree would be pretty great
My mom owned a house with a HUGE avocado tree in the back yard. When I say this tree was huge I mean it. It was perfect for a swing tied on the branches. We had a super long stick to get them down. Sucks I didn’t appreciate avocados 🥑 back then as much as I do now. I hope I own a house with an avocado tree some day.

I tried this this morning and wow never I knew a pinch of salt on avocado changes the taste! and that rub of garlic makes my toast so much better! Now my avocado toast is not bland anymore 😍
I always squeeze a 1/4 slice of lime in it to suit my taste and salt and pepper....I toast my bread in a toaster, (so much faster) and It's terrific...you can also add a bit of tomato in the mixture...very good as well!

I love avocado toast. Whether you pan brown, (always better), or use a toaster, I believe most importantly is to begin with really good bread. As I don't eat raw garlic, I love it roasted or infused by boiling EVOO and garlic together. My fastest version is to use the toaster and combine ripe avocado, garlic infused EVOO, a squeeze of lime with salt and pepper. During Summer months, I grow fresh basil and infuse basil and garlic in the EVOO which provides an herbal elevation to the toast.

Just made this..super tasty and very easy to make. I used McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning instead of just salt, as it is a mixture of salt, pepper, and other spices as well..it really added a nice kick. Tomorrow. this is so good! 👌try spreading toast with a bit of mayo instead of butter or olive oil, wait for it to brown a little and you will get a crunchy eggy hint of taste, perfect with the garlic rub.

HOLY CRAP.
Just did this with Daves Killer Bread, toasted in a crappy 10$ toaster with baby arugula on top, a few drips of hot sauce on (green Cholula), smoked paprika, cracked pepper, garlic powder just a pinch of each (and rubbed clove on the bread) then dripped some raspberry balsamic over the top (1/4 tsp for each piece).
Insane. I'm just going to make avocado toast daily...

I rub garlic on my bread too! Adds so much flavour. And I add a bit of olive oil, spring onions and a teeny sprinkle of chili powder on top, it's delicious! Sometimes cherry tomatoes too.

Nero forte by Slipknot would work. In Italian it means dark roast which makes me think coffee which makes me think of breakfast and that's when I would eat avocado toast
