Nice video I was looking at most of these videos mostly because I'm trying to do the controller part and I was looking at the wires and I noticed that there is a red and black wire I can seem to see where those go unless I'm looking at the wrong wire do I connect this to the plug that has all the wires that looks similar to the wires that it has. I thought it was to the plug that looks similar to the if on the tester
Can you help me. My Controller doesn't change the Power output. It is always 1000W (max) on eco, normal and power Mode. Do you know which Part of the Controller or Display (SW-900) could be damaged?
I need to know what hall wire goes where ? My display wires on from the display cable are different colors than the colors of the wires on the controller. How do I check those ? Which wire goes where ?
When i plug hall sensor wires into my tester and switch tester on,the battery indicator light does no illuminate but if i unplug tester from hall sensors it comes back on.
Thanks about to buy that testing device but I don't like it because the light only blik but don't make the wheel spin by it self. Thanks for the video.

Thanks. One question....why, even though the motor is not receiving any power, does the motor become so hard to turn when the phase wires are shorted? I have this problem on the old x5304. The motor is very hard to turn. In addition when using the tester it lights two phase lights simultaneously and only one singularly. The conclusion therefore is that green and blue are shorted inside the motor.
Great video. Question. My ebike works fine, but when I do the motor phase wire test and turn wheel (backwards) for resistance I don't get any but motor works fine and hall sensors work fine. This is not normal but it hasn't caused problems. And ideas why? /bklyn 👑

I have a e6 error code, the scooter fully shuts off randomly whilst riding, and won't come back on but when I connect back to charger it comes back on showing full charge. When I lay the scooter down and accelerate its fine , as soon as I get on it and accelerate higher than 15/20mph it shuts off with e6 code.? I turned the voltage down because most advice was undervoltage error but that has not done anything? I reset the p settings and still no joy, I opened up everything apart from the battery. And all seems well, my rear mudguard came off a few weeks ago and the wires shredded abit for the back light, I've taped them up singularly and still no joy. Any ideas anyone?
What if I put a new battery in, the correct battery ofcoarse..... and test it & everythings working fine, power it off, 5 minutes later boot it back up & NO power to the motor, really has me baffled. anyone ever had this happen? if so what caused it?
When I test mine hall sensors and motor looks fine but it works only when I spin backwards . When spin in right direction nothing happens. Btw there's nothing wrong with my bike . Just testing my tester . 😁

Bought a hub motor kit for $50 on Craigslist. It appeared to be new in the box. Doesn't work when I wired it up. I've ordered a tester. 🤞
on mine, the power light on the throttle doesnt light up, yet i tested it a week ago and it was fine

My motor snaps the shaft if I keep going it makes bad noise then goes loose on the dropout. Thanks

That is the correct conclusion. When phase wires are shorted it acts as a significant brake force.

And the diplay shows E07 error and if I change the PAS levels it work ok,but when turning the throttle the motor spinning stops.

If you have a geared Motor that´s fine because it probably has a freewheel that disengages while spinning the wheel "forward"
I brought a throttle for my e bike and when I connect the wheel attempted to spin one time and never spin
You have a geared motor. Geared motors just give you more torque on startup. Spinning the wheel backwards for test is the right way.
