Not really. The 512-bit 2025 5090 Ti seems a more interesting idea than the 448-bit 2024 5090. As I'm only buying it next year, I hope the 5090 Ti do get released; else I can always fall back on the 5090. Let's see how it goes .....

4090 already plays 4k at 120+ frames, this is not a card for gamers
It's a trash, refurbished product, with minimal specs. Only 28 ram is abysmal in the era of AI
Knowing Nvidia they will slap on 192bit GDDR7 memory on the 5090 and do it with a smile.
While the 4060 is still faster than 3060, it's still worse than a 3070 and 3060ti. It's closer to a 6650xt or what a 3060 super might have been. Nvidia knows they can get away with minimal uplift in the lower and mod range cards since that's where the most cards sell and people will settle for whatever at that price point
the 4060 is not a trash card dude its a great card its not mean to do 4k gaming its the low end side its meant for 1080p with DLSS

@@cyllananassan9159 4060 not a trash card dude i seen it in todays games and it runs them very playable around 60fps more or less on ultra dude, its not really about an improvement on the low end side dude just a small bump in performance

The name itself is still a rumor, they have not confirmed that it will even be named 50 series. Nvidia already has a 5000 series from 2003. Not to mention it will cause even more confusion later if they continue Nvidia also has a 6-9k series too. Best to rename it now.

Btw, has this thought so felt like sharing. I feel that slowly the mainstream GPU manufacturers are moving toward iGPUs. With their upcoming arm based CPUs nVIDIA might be seriously considering this competition with AMDs upcoming Strix point APUs.
iGPUs are fine for casual gamers and laptops, but hardcore gamers will always demand big-ass graphic cards. The real question is weather Nvidia even cares about gamers anymore!
Agree with you about leakers. Kopite is CLEARLY full of it and is SHOWING us all he is full of it! MLID has gone off the rails this year with a bunch of stupid stuff lately; as well as becoming the "let's beat the shit out of Intel every chance we get" channel. Let us not forget that Nvidia is going the "cheap" route, for them, and using TSMC 4nm vs the planned TSMC 3nm. Hard pass!

Tbh, the way nvidia is treating gamers it seems they are no longer interested in gaming markets. You just take what is there or wait for few more years for the next gen stuffs.

I stopped playing games about 5 years ago because I was afraid of my PC getting old and no longer being able to play the latest games. I still upgraded my GPU every generation.
I'm in the last position, I'm not going to "bite" on the new cards and stick with my 4080 Super. But what I am holding out for is 15th Gen Intel cpu for a new build. Not really expecting a performance bump I just dont want to put hundreds of dollars into a 14700 build that I cant upgrade without tearing the entire machine down to swap in a new motherboard.

GB 202 return from Ada laptop design gen for Intel H attach to desktop design generation. GB 203 like Ada laptop (90) but really 80 desktop / laptop hybrid that worked as a hybrid design engineering speaking. All other GB 2xx continues efficient focused laptop offerings that will b shoed into desktop cards but are really mobile focused on Nvidia volume sales. mb
Blackwell on TSMC 4NP is a cost depreciated process and Nvidia dGPU kit should come at a lower price to AIBs to design cost offset more board layers, memory path, wide bus, power requirement except for perhaps 5090_. I can't see a price increase except for 5090ti, 5080ti on Nvidia appeasing game land (gang land) on potential upcoming antitrust actions. Not to say there will be but the question of Nvidia channel cartelization has been for sometime. The real issue is AIBS want 100% mark up; marginal cost = marginal revenue = price and have been forced so split, well agreed at the beginning of Ada on moving from Nvidia and AMD 3rd degree price at Apere and RDNA ll, to 1st degree pricing between 46% and 65% or so with end buyer sales outlets. AIB OC cards are meant to provide a n AIB plus a bit more incentive to sales outlets as primarily an AIB gross margin support over the base margin split agreement. Pricing will be especially interesting and I suspect still a 1st degree scheme through producers ramp with consumer elastic pricing following after peak production volume into rune down. There is still plenty of Ada to clear from the channel. mb
