  • This year, on World Environment Day, I have released a special video on the Thai Acacia Leaf (Acacia Pennata) which is popularly known as Khanghu in Biate and Khanghmuk in Hmar, is a very special edible leaf which is a favourite amongst almost all the ethnic tribes of North- East India and also South Asia. This video, besides introducing us to the Thai Acacia Leaves, shows us the plantation area (Jhum) and also the hard labour that involves in the maintainance of the Plantation Area. My heartiest thanks to all the people who are involved in the making of this video- Elder Hlithang Hrangate and Family from Muolhoi, Haflong, Lemuel Zaihmingthanga Lalsim and John Calvin Thianglai.
