My Wish for You, finished solo

A few hours after getting the accompaniment down, and a couple runs playing with a melody, I sat down to pen down an official solo melody. Some of the difficult chord passages I picked received a much needed plan, and made everything feel more natural and speech like.
Although this is purely instrumental, I do feel the intent of this piece stands out. The desire is for me to impart my hopes and dreams for her, to enjoy every moment that life brings us, and to know her family will always be there for her.
Originally conceived as a lullaby, my kiddo has definitely requested this piece a few times since I recorded it, and she’s even fallen asleep to it once or twice. So that’s a win!
