No I think you are wrong! I have celulite since I was a baby sure it has increased with age but it’s not the lack of Exercise, I have been Exercising my whole life and I have more Cellulite than anyone I know.
Same. I exercise more than most and have the most cellulite. But I’m also stronger/ more muscle mass as well.
Not all exercise is the same and not all exercise is right for every body. Lots of cardio can burn muscle instead of fat for some not others, hiit workouts can increase hormones that store more fat for some not for others. Heavy weight training with plenty of recovery time seems to work best but if you are eating over maintenance calories, a layer of fat will always cover muscle. Too much weight training can burn muscle and not fat. It works for Arnold because of steroids, but for the rest of us no.
Also, if you are overtraining and over dieting, as well as yo-yo dieting, especially if you have been doing it since puberty or high school…your metabolism is damaged. If your metabolism is damaged, no amount of exercise or diet will reduce fat or cellulite.
Restore metabolism first.
If you know your maintenance calories, I would start there. Back up on weight training with gentle walking. Stop high intensity workouts for a season. Eat .8 grams of protein per kg of body weight. Stop doing so much volume of sets/reps.
Let your body rest. Rest/ore metabolism.
Then luckily you can start adding about 100 calories every 2 weeks. See if you gain weight, if you do-great, add more weight to your bar, or pick up an extra 2 kg. Then you can add an extra 100 calories and so on.
It’s called reverse dieting. You also have to add more daily protein
If your cellulite is in thighs/butt-squats and deadlifts for the purpose off adding muscle, not weight loss
Then after 6 months, you have possibly restored your metabolism, increased it, put on significant muscle mass (perhaps so weight on the scale as well). It’s ok
The lower your maintenance calories (which is significantly higher now because metabolism is higher), by 10%. Fat will drop/ muscle retained/cellulite reduced
What do you recommend for those with low tolerance to most supplements and cannot tolerate glutamine and methyl B12? I have super sensitivities sadly but feel my toxic load is high.
Have you tried a functional medicine detox before?
Dry brushing, sauna, exercise, hot yoga, eliminate food sensitivities and other inflammatory foods
I was guided through a very restrictive diet with supplements in an attempt to detox but it did not go well and I discovered many supplements I cannot tolerate and that I do not seem to detox well, just redistribute toxins it seems. I also suffer with GI issues snd neuro issues as well as many sensitivities with no help from practitioners I have tried before sadly.
@@kristinerutkowski8813 I'm not sure what detox you tried previously. But that happens quite often when a proper detox is not followed. The way my functional medicine detox works allows for the body to ramp up phase 1 & 2 liver detox pathways so that the body is able to actually excrete the toxins instead of just mobilizing them. I hope that makes sense and my team would be happy to work with you.
