Savannah is fortunate & blessed to have Randy Wood Guitars and Portman’s. Randy is a documented luthier legend and Portman’s has been the go-to mom & pop shop since 1936. Three years ago Guitar Center opened their doors literally 100 yards away from Portman’s. Low ball move IMO but the upside is you can go to the 2 biggest guitar stores in SAV without having to move your car.
Randy Woods is kool place. They fixed a 1910 vintage Lange-Croft tenor banjo for me.
That’s awesome!
Shoutout Thrice! With the dope illusion of safety shirt!
The Vox Berkeley sitting in front of the Vox Beatle amp came in 2 versions, tube or solid state. The tube version is an extremely great amp.
A fellow resident of Orlando here who recently came across your channel. I love your content and your laid back approach as you keep the focus on the gear. Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Been a while since I've been to Savannah. Still seems to have its laid back charm. Peace
A couple of places to visit, if you roll back through Savannah. Rody's Records, Nova Music, Pooler Pawn and Dimond and Savannah Guitar Lutherie & Mercantile. Great video!!!
W0W!
Bahahaa 😂 i have that same Neon Green Bass..lol 😂🤟👍🤟 its a great little sit on the couch while watching tv kind of of a bass..fun..plays and feels well/good...and its great for playing 80s rock stuff lol 😂😮😅
I’m binging your videos here on the 4th of July holiday. Cool channel. Great voice, great info, great guitars. Can’t wait to buy a guitar from you !
When you first started out, did you find more success in flipping say 5 guitars valued at 400 each, or 2 guitars valued at 1000 each? To get the ball really rolling do you find sales velocity or extrinsic value more important? Thanks and love the content!
Man that’s a great question and I’ve often wondered the same thing.
I buy and sell a fair number of guitars. Stuff under $300 typically sells fast. It make take weeks or months to sell a higher end guitar but affordable guitars usually sell in days.
@tenkarabadger5244 I've had similar experience to you. I feel like around that $400 it understandably becomes a much more intentional purchase.
Love Savannah. Never considered looking for gear there. Will have to next time. :-)
I Dont Ever Get Tired of Seeing and Playing Guitars and Axcessories, nah!Keep on Aquiring!Take care, nah!
"He has the box!"
That fender P bass special looks pretty cool.
Wow cool stuff..Anyone !?! what model amp was the cool weird "Blue Univox" Cab and amphead ? Love it.
Glad you did this, I live nearby.👍
Would love to see and hear more from Kaylie in future videos. Her in her thrice shirt def gets my "seal of approval" 😃
She has good taste!!
Lots of spooky haunted places there to check out 😊
Luv these vids. Keep it up, ya beasts.
Another triumph ✊⚡⚡⚡🎶
I really love those Roland Jazz Chorus amps. It’s on my list to acquire eventually
Love my JC-120. Think I saw a Hagstrom in the background?
They’re great amps! We haven’t had any Hagtrom guitars in a while but those are cool too
Loving the doo man. Looking fresh ❤
For those wondering that was a 2 on a par 3💪 ( I think lol )
No hanger locks at the Guitar Center??? Shocking that you're able to grab and try out any guitar on the rack and not have to wait eons to find the one guy with the keys to begrudgingly unlock a single guitar at a time.
Nice man keep doing the vids.
Absolutely fantastic have a good weekend Alex ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much!!
The Iceman is my favorite I have a friend that might be interested. What is the cost?
Very Cool, Thankyou. The Gretsch is awesome. All the Best. Cheers
Ayee thank you so much!!
I enjoy these videos where you search through the pawn shops & local music stores. 👍🏼 I don't see the Iceman on the website or the Reverb store yet... what are you asking for that?
I believe the iceman has sold already!
Love your channel. Doesn't help my GAS.
No it doesn't but hell, it's nice to see!
Is the best price comparison done via Reverb or somewhere else?
Hey Alex, did Fender start putting High Mass bridges on there p bass lites from that time frame? I was selling them in 89/90 when they first came out sans high mass? Just a curious question, love the channel, I can even get my girlfriend to watch your vids, very rare she’ll watch anything if this nature,
Thanks
Rik
Bose Wave addict!
That Super Beatle was sweet; I'd hate to have to fix it tho.
They are really loud and take pedals well. Heavy and once you replace all of the caps they are pretty reliable
M series is made in Mexico
nice finds but at what prices
Yeah but do they work?

I absolutely love your channel and all of your content. I would like to ask, Is Alex autistic or " on the spectrum"? It makes no difference to me but if he is he's quite an inspiration to other if he's not he's a genius and still very inspiring. I can tell he loves what he does and is very successful. Thanks for the amazing content.
Green is the worst color for any guitar, makes them look cheap for some reason, even a high end model ,just about every guitar you get,is something I would choose, and I understand the rest of the stuff from a business perspective, what a keen eye you have for the obscure vintage gear & guitars,if I was in the market for a high end guitar,I would definitely hit you up first.
downbeat....no thanks too far to drive
