We just arrived in Bali after a long and tenuous journey stretching over 10 days from Moscow, Russia. Quarantine in Jakarta was thankfully easy and comfortable due to a great hotel choice (Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto - check out our previous video if you're curious!). Now in Bali, we are fortunate to have a cosy little home to return to even though it's been 2 years since we set foot on Bali. Being people of modest means and introverts who choose a quiet existence, our Bali house is simple and minimalist. Despite its modest size and furnishings, it remains a wonderful haven for us and "our" dog Kitana. We hope you enjoy this little peek into our private lives. My niece just married a guy whose family originally came from Russia this month. I also met many Russian tourists when in Armenia just 2 weeks ago. Glad u found joy in life in Bali. I have lived in Bali since 2013 after resigning from my job in Singapore. In life, many a times less is more!
Russians hv started travelling everywhere in the last 10 years I think they’re now the dominant tourist group in many popular destinations including here in Bali! Ure so lucky to hv come to Bali so early In Life n spent so much time here I really like living here so far n find it such a great place to lead a simple life that’s super comfortable at the same time.

the trip to Bali was very fun to do, the local people were very friendly at accepting tourists and they were very happy to hang out and even very ready to accommodate tourists at their homes as long as they had not found a place to live there 😊
