Hopefully some weather expert will explain to Putin that in the part of Ukraine where he would use his tactical nukes, the prevailing winds mostly blow over the Black Sea, into Eastern Ukraine and then go on to Russia.

The Americans have plenty of nuclear weapons.
Taking into account, nuclear missiles on submarines, on missile cruisers and other surface ships, and in stealth bombers and other aircraft, and yes, In the occasional garden corner, the US has thousands of nukes.
And judging by what I've seen in this war, I'd bet dollars to donuts, that the Russian nukes and missiles have not been maintained as well as the American ones, which are constantly being upgraded.
