- Deputies report:
On 05/26/2023, at approximately 2335 hours, Iwas on patrol in the area of Isleta and Rio Bravo (traveling southbound). While stopped at a red light the driver of a brown Honda sedan rolled down his window and waved his hand to gain my attention. The unidentified male stated he was being forced off the roadway and had to make evasive maneuvers to avoid collision with a white Nissan Sedan bearing license plate NM-RCN618. The male subject identified the vehicle which was also stopped at the red light. The male subject stated he believed the driver to be impaired. The light turned green and the white vehicle briefly stayed stopped, then began in motion, traveling southbound on Islet at approximately 15 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.
I then activated the emergency equipment on my marked patrol unit and conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle. The driver made a east bound turn onto Mora Rd SW. While conducting a turn the vehicle failed to maintain lane and entered into the west bound traffic lane. Eventually the driver came to a stop. On my approach to the vehicle the driver had the front and rear windows of the drivers side partially rolled down. As I approached closer to the vehicle the driver rolled up the rear window all the way, The driver also rolled up the front window with approximately three inches of opening left. I observed a small child laying face down on the rear floor board behind the driver's seat. I also observed there was not seating restraints for the child inside the vehicle. I made contact with the driver who was identified as Raedelle Bahe. I asked her to roll down the window so we could better verbally communicate and also so I could gauge outward signs of impairment. She refused to roll down the window stating she knew her rights. Bahe had repetitive phases stating " know my rights" and advising me that "you have no rights". I believed her actions to be a tactic used to interfere with my investigation. As we communicated I observed her to have slurred speech as she talked. After refusing several commands to roll the window down, or to exit the vehicle, I believe Bahe accidentally unlocked the doors. Deputies were able to open the rear door and remove the child from the vehicle for the safety of the child. After the child was removed l opened the front door and took control of her left wrist performing a C-Clamp with my left hand. I again gave commands for her to exit and she refused. I held her arm out of the vehicle as she began to make a phone call, still refusing commands. I gave Bahe ample opportunity to comply and it was evident, based on her behavior, that she was going to continue to be physically and verbally resistive. In order to over come her resistance and affect my lawful duty to investigate the impaired driving with a child in the vehicle, I conducted an arm bar extraction. I pulled on her left arm and applied pressure to the triceps notch and Bahe went to the ground on her knees. I advised Bahe to stand up and she attempted to pull her arm away from my control. I mounted her back while still controlling her left arm which caused her to rest on her stomach. She tucked her right arm under the chest and refused to place her arm behind her back under her own power. I attempted a pain compliance wrist lock on the left wrist which was ineffective. I secured her left arm inside my left thigh and had to pull her right arm from under her chest where she was then placed in handcuffs. I escorted Bahe to my police vehicle where she refused to seat herself. I pushed on her shoulder to get her into the vehicle. I was able to place her left leg in the vehicle but she planted her right foot in the door way preventing me from closing the door. Eventually Deputies were able to deescalate Bahe. During this time I observed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her facial area as she spoke. Her handcuffs were adjusted for comfort and during this time physical control (escort position) had to be used to control her movements. Due to her behavior and resistance no field sobriety tests were conducted. I transported Bahe to the SVCC then read her the New Mexico Implied Advisory where she refused to submit to testing at 0020 hours. During inventory prior to tow, two open and empty containers of liquor, Jack Daniels whiskey and 99 Bananas both 100 ml bottles, were located on the passenger seat. Paramedics were called to the substation to evaluate Bahe. She ultimately refused services. photographs were taken of her injuries which consisted of a scrapes to both elbows when she was detained in handcuffs. Bahe had no other complaints of injury. Bahe is being charged with Child Endangerment for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor with reckless disregard while the child was an occupant. She is also being charged with Aggravated DWI for refusing to submit to testing, resisting, and possession of open container. Bahe was booked into MDC.

Thank you! I had to fast forward so many times in this video because the two of them were just saying the same two things back and forth to each other over and over. Just take control already. Is there some time limit they have to wait before they change their tactics? Once you get into that loop, you've lost and you have to do something different.

Yeah these officers were pretty badly exposed here. It's unfortunate because they seem like they are fine in every other aspect, but to be completely helpless against an uncooperative subject just because they have their foot out of the door is so amateur and humiliating. I don't think they should be fired or anything, but if they were helpless against this lady just imagine how helpless they would be against an actual seasoned male criminal.
If they do whats neccessary (going hands on) then they are the violent powertripping bad police, so they have to be like this.
The entire state of NM is a joke. The so-called justice system is a joke. The idea of "law and order" is a joke. Just don't be conservative, that'll get you jail! Nothing else. That's the only law in the U.S. that gets you jail. Don't be conservative. Otherwise? Do whatever the fuck you want!

She should have served 1 year in jail for child endangerment! This is why people do not believe in the justice system.
Her horrible behavior is not due to the alcohol; it's indicative of her innate personality. The alcohol only relaxes the restraint that the higher brain functions exert on the base functions. This is not a person with whom you'd want to associate, drunk or sober.

@@BlueEyes-ro2rv Maybe, just maybe she was the third or fourth person that acted a fool that he had to deal with that day. One bad word doesn't discredit someone that is doing a stellar job for very little pay, or like in your case, no respect.
@@desertfish6821 was more than one. In no way was i disrespectful just stating facts. No matter what kind of day you have or had makes it ok not to be professional. What if a pediatrician had screaming irritable babies all day…is it ok for her to swear at them? Get the point? 🙄
The court should never ever drop the child endangerment charges this should give them jail time and at least 2 years probation and a huge fine
Wow! Cops don't get paid enough.😮😮
Those cops were way too lenient with her. They let her control the situation with her “do not touch me. What’s your name. I know my rights” all said a hundred times each. Annoying.
Another intoxicated person who "knows" their rights. This time with a child! 😡
Im assuming that she is indigenous and is confused about her rights off the reservation.
No she's just watched too much CZcams. She doesn't have to answer his questions but she does have to get out of the car.
@@MikeSmithersand on the Rez she has even less rights. The don't have the constitution on the Rez.
@MikeSmithers you can't drove drunk on the rez either but they usually park your car, take your keys, drive you home and you can get your keys in the morning. My cousin is a cop on the rez.
Ridiculous, very little accountability, thanks for nothing DA. It was child abuse, it was resisting, it was aggravated dwi, give these losers some consequences, 30 days in jail, big fine, suspended license, alcohol rehab, Judas priest....slap on the wrist for what......
Did she ever once ask about the child?????
Technically, he didn’t throw you down on the floor. He may have thrown you down on the ground or the pavement, but he did not throw you down on the floor.
She’s not going to comply, quit arguing and trying to bargain with her - you’re just wasting your time. Show her who’s in control - and make sure she knows it’s NOT HER.
Ground is correct, when I hear floor, it drives me crazy…😊
In much of the English speaking world outside of the U.S., floor is also used and correct for the outside or inside.
@@hugejohnson5011 it's not correct, it's just commonly accepted
@@cheyann555 Says you. In which country do you teach English language?
Not going to happen - this cop is useless.
As long as this girl goes on breathing, she’ll be a danger for others…some never learn 🙄
My father drove drunk in the 50s, 60s and some 70s! He quit drinking after he got diabetes! I finally found out why my mother loved him!!!
How were all the charges dropped, when she had an open container with someone else's child in the car. If I was the parent of that child, I would be making a public stink about the courts inability to hold criminals accountable and let the public back lash issue justice... This is shameful.
What judge dropped the charges? He should be all over the internet and on tv for incompetence. I am sad to think that this girl is driving among us. And why do people think they can tell a cop “don’t touch me”?.
@@annpipes9900 He didn't drop all the charges, but he was very incompetent. This third DUI was made her First Offense (The DA did that.) The Judge made her get an interlock device to blow into and a 1 year deferred sentence. I found it off of Google. Imo she should be doing the year, or longer, in jail. I would say longer. She must have received a sweet plea deal.
It also looks like she may work at Wendy's, although I couldn't verify that part.
Wow Ms piggy is an annoying drunk isn’t she?
Yep! She looked like a turtle on the ground! Her stomach high centered her on the ground!
Alcohol needs to be banned from people that act like this absolutely disgusting behaviour.
We have the right to to drive on the highway and not get KILLED by a drunk driver. that’s our right
