I love plantains cooked any way - I especially like having boiled plantain with potatoes , green bananas and Fried Fish (Red Snapper) - I remember having that dish on ‘Good Friday’ when I was a child . Keep up the good work Debs! By the way, the long flat plantain looks the most presentable😀
Manners and respect Ms. Debbie I have been watching you months now. Love you and you great cooking and you are overall a wonderful GOD bless woman. And you funny lol. Keep on this journey your helping and entertaining and helping so many people. I am a Jamaican 🇯🇲 living in Bronx New York
You are right Deb. I am getting to learn more of the Jamaican Patwa, I know some slangs but do not want to reply in patwa as I might say it wrong. I am Guyanese and we too speak patwa, some of the slangs are slightly different so I know exactly what you are saying during your cooking. I have to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy listening to you and learning from you. Love from Canada to you and your family.
I much more prefer how the one that are cut on the byass look..looks Fancy dainty and elegant even for such a simple dish. Its All in the attention to detail as my mother says. I just foud your channel and I'm already hooked! You have A new Trini/Guyanese subscriber ❤
Love dem BOTH. Great ADDITION to ANY MEAL. Thanks for showing this. Many people used to Bananas, but CONFUSED AS TO WHAT TO DO WITH " STRANGE LOOKING BANANAS", aka PLANTAINS. We are " Ridin n Whistlin", Ms Debs.
Hi debs thanks for the shout out i definitely think the one cut on the bias but every time I do mine i cut both ways and you would say multi tasking but for me yuh a hangle yuh kitchen stay bless no stress
The fried looks more familiar to me as an American from the states; however i do have a question about green cooking bananas.i love them, unfortunately i dont understand how to cook them and how are they traditionally used.can u help?
I love the way you take the time to explain everything. And as a bajan, I’m also learning lots of Jamaican slang too.😄
