i did a graphic design degree at kingston polytechnic in 1982-84 and one of my class mates went on to be a major pop-up book and paper engineer maker - damien johnston.
It will get a pretty look when it have a turret u can re make a ARL 44 . i studied tanks abut 4 years so i completed 5 rc tanks but u did the best with a canon . we do not have so much parts only receiver cardboard but no motors i am going to make a vacuum cleaner bot with tracks and thanks for your idea .
I think this is great. Going to have a go myself. But I would have to detail it with rivits and paint it. But thank you for the inspiration. Great job.
Can you please put a list of materials you used, I'm trying to make this thing at home and I would really like to know which materials you used, including the tools, thank you!
Where did you get your radio and motors from? And have you thought of creating it in MDF with rubber tracks so that it's a little moor durable outside?
Bro that measurement u took is little confusing for me example the radius of driver is 4.5 cm and below that Rear distance is 3 cm given so 4.5 cm means 9cm diameter so like can u make a special video on measurements???
@@psrinivasulureddy9508 That just looks like a motor case. This isn't always required, however it increases the surface area so that the motor itself has a lower risk of damage and is more easily attached to the chassis. If you get the dimensions of the motor, you can most likely buy one online. Alternatively, you can just cast a few layers of ceramic and/or malleable cardboard (the latter, of course, requires a glue gun) around your motor to do this. If you do decide to do this, however, I advise that you pay attention to the positioning of the motor which the creator of this thingamabob utilizes; so that you can cast your casing in a geometrical composition fit for said task, for nobody likes completing something and then finding out that it's too big or small for the job! One more thing: It appears to me that inside said casing is a mechanism to convert the drive of that one motor (vertical) into the drive of two motors (i.e. the pull of both wheels). There are a multitude of ways to do this, however looking back I cannot tell if said mechanism is inside the case or is a component of the case. Either way, it would help to get the actual info, which I don't have! I hope that with some intuition and effort you can find everything you need to complete this project. I apologize if I haven't helped much.
This is amazing. Back in the 1950s a chap named G.H.Deason wrote a book called "Cardboard Engineering", he would have been proud of you.
