Do you all remember when they finally "got back together" over halfway through season 8 and Lanie told Castle not to screw it up again. They always blame him. I know they had to hide things and couldn't tell anyone about Loksat but I didn't like how they acted during the "separation".
+Bill Bagworth exactly. I don't say that she didn't have the right to act like she did back then, because of her course it most be hard for her when he was away for 2 months. But the first time she saw him again when he woke up she interrogated him like a scumbag. And indeed on the camp site she kept asking him to tell the truth, but everytime he said that he was telling the truth that he didn't know, she didn't believe him. I don't like it that when Beckett does something wrong, the others always understand her and let her get away with it. Do you think that if Castle would have done the exact same thing that Beckett does now, that then Lanie would also act like this. Or that Esposito would also not be mad at Castle like he is now not at Beckett. No, Lanie would tell him that he was a jackass, and Esposito would likely beat him up.
Pacinolegend1908 It made me smile reading your post. I thought i was the only person annoyed at the inconsistcy in the way people act. How many tickets to games and rides in his ferrari did espo get. you think he isnt better off for castle helping solve murders? same with lanie.
Beckett isn't working their relationship out. She is trying to figure out who killed Vulcan Simons, the guy who murdered her mother, and she doesn't want Castle to get hurt so she distanced herself from him. The first seven seasons were about Castle getting to know Beckett and their relationship as a romantic couple. They didn't really know who killed Beckett's mom and after they found out that it was Simmons, Kate wasn't in any real danger until she was kidnapped at the beginning of this season.
This is a joke right? First off, he was KIDNAPPED! Taken by force and hauled off to a different country. He had no choice in the matter. Kate DID have a choice. She CHOSE to lie to Castle's face. She CHOSE to walk out on their marriage. She CHOSE. He didn't. The two situations are NOT the same AT ALL. And secondly, she definitely did NOT accept him back without question. She actually had a LOT of questions. Where he was, what he was doing. She didn't believe him when he said he couldn't remember. She thought he was lying to her. She treated him like a criminal. She didn't TRUST him. Which is hilarious because she's the one who's always going on about how they need to trust each other. I guess it's just HIM that needs to trust HER right? So glad this was the last season. The writing absolutely sucked the last few season but this one is just god awful.
Beckett initially thought Castle himself was pretending that he doesn't remember. Heck, there was a time where she pretended to not remember Castle telling her that he loved her. She was plenty lucky Castle wasn't too furious with her about it. Even when things have worked out in his favor, Castle is the kind of TV character that deserves better, and he's not the only TV character.

this is what I don't get is that everyone at her work act like it is Castle fault that they split up
and Castle had nothing to do with his kidnapping. this split is all beckett
