I read the book 6 times already, & every time I read it, I cried or got a little teary-eyed. It's such a great book.

He's very mature and well spoken. Given his "bad boy" music background, I didn't expect him to be a great speaker, but he really is. I'm impressed. Rip Selena

My so called "mom" even told me if abortion was legal back in the day she would of had an abortion with me. She even told my daughter too & she has disabilities. Those words have "stayed" with me, very hurtful, & I feel like an orphan. My dad dranked a lot & only wanted boys, which he got his wish my younger brother. So, you can about "guess" how I got treated. The worse way you can imagine.

For her to have been taken away so soon, it is a miracle in what they were able to do while they were together. Many people that don’t find or possess a love like they had together. It’s just so heartbreaking.
Selena and Chris were Soulmates You can see it in his eyes hes still in Love with her and always will be. very sad she was gone too soon :(

I've purchased this book on ebay and just can't wait to get it and start to read it! Since I saw the movie it made me wonder how it really was, so I'm just grateful to Chris for sharing his precious memories with us through this book.

I watch the movie "Selena" almost every night. So very sad/tragic how Selena was killed at the prime of her career. I really feel so sorry for the ones she left her husband, Chris, dad/mom/family. My heart goes out to you Chris and I hope you find peace and love again.

Emily Flores Mr Q didn't sue Chris for writing the book but for trying to make a tv miniseries from it. Fortunately, Mr. Q has dropped the suit so according to Chris he will now go ahead with the process of getting the series made thank goodness. However, a lot of time has been wasted bc of the suit. Now the writer of the book 'Selena's Secret' has a tv miniseries coming out real soon. Its based on the lies and garbage of SELENA's murderer YS. There's been some leaked footage of it. I hear the crime scene was bloody. A crying shame. I can't wait for Chris's series to come out. I hear AB and Suzette is going to be Executive Producers of it. I hope so considering hopefully how close they all still are. 💝

you Musta Had A lot of courage to write a book of someone you loved and lost you guys had a bunch of plans together I actually went through the same thing a couple of years ago it's very hard trust me I know how it feels thanks for making the book and sharing it with everyone
I bought Chris' book & enjoyed his intimate insight of Selena life offstage. All told, Selena was the wonderful woman her public persona projected, what fan's would hope she would be. Plus, Chris takes us inside the family & the making of the Dinos's music. I did not know what a musical force A.B. was in reshaping Tejano music to attain the band's hugely popular sound. The ignorant sometimes falsely accuse the Q. family of exploiting Selena's talent - No, they all played a role in their success.
I really enjoyed the journey of this book, and being taken on this ride, as though reliving those moments in time once again, their rise as a band and the popularity of Selena's music. At times, I could not put it down, and there were other times that I found it difficult to pick it up again. Chris, I would think that these were the golden years, for all of you. All the best!

I recently bought this book. It's touching & sad but what made me angry was when Chris taught Selena how to ride his motorcycle. He shouldn't have done that. Selena later took the motorcycle and rode it with out him knowing. Just imagine had something gone wrong and Selena ended up very hurt, cripple or worse then everybody would've been blaming Chris for having taught her. That was too dangerous. She didn't have enough lessons. Chris was a weak husband at times.

It has been 18 years since her demise and I know to the Quintanilla/Perez family, it seems like yesterday! My daughter & her friends saw the movie together-they were in 7th grade at the time the movie was released! I used to see her perform on regular TV back in the mid 1980s but didn't know who she was! I watched the movie again for the 1st time & I prayed for the family.

I bought this & I will read it when I am done with the current book I am reading. There are some terrible videos on youtube that are saying she is in hell. I can't believe people would say crap like that she did alot of good in her short life & her haters are just jealous.

For some apparent reason I just get the feeling that Selena was taken to be saved from the world... Idk why I just do... Look at the world we live in.... Someone who dies is not a bad thing because they're getting to live in heaven... She was beautiful internal and externally.... I know she is up there in heaven....

Chris is right; It is a process. You can't make that move whatever it may be until you are ready. Losing someone close to you is very painful esp if they're taken from you very suddenly whether naturally or unnaturally. Now Chris has started to open up and 'give back' to the fans. I unfortunately did not find out about the book til a few years later. I know, can't believe it either. But I rushed out to B&N and got the last one. Lol. I read through it very quickly bc I was so anxious to read it. Now I'm going to re-read it very slowly this time. It is an awesome book Beautifully written. I felt like I was reading a Romance novel only this was real life, and of course clean cut bc after all Chris is a gentleman. Lol. So thank you Chris and I'm hoping and praying that someday we will get to see this love story played out in a tv miniseries someday. I hope the fans stand with you to make it happen. Rip sweet angel. 💝💝
I would also like to add that I am praying that you and Abraham will reconcile your differences for SELENA's sake. She love(d) you both dearly. The two most important men in her life that she had planned on spending a longer time with so please gentleman, settle your differences. He is a amazing person.. I can see why Salena fell in love with him. I read he remarried a few years after her death and had 2 kids but is now divorced. Salena was his true soulmate... she was illuminating.
