I was at this TT & listened to Rossi being interviewed, when he said it was frightening enough doing the lap of honour but he could never race it. He gave huge respect to those that did.
Yeah, i dont think he could believe what he was seeing. Let's be honest, no one does the first time you stand there and see the crazy speeds these guys do on a lethal track. Massive rEspect to all of them.
the only reason people really do the TT is because of how honorable it is to be able to say that you raced in the isle of man TT. there is no other motorcycle racing sport that is any better than the TT and anyone who survives it are on the top of the list of best riders. MotoGP is not even as prestigious and honorable as the TT is. TT is kind of like the meka of motorcycle racing. it's the soul of what motorcycles are. it's the freedom and the danger. it don't get any freer than that and that is why people risk their lives for less money than their bikes are even worth
Rossi is absolutely BRILLIANT !!!-----------diff races, diff views-------------no need to take cheap shots at a hero from another realm.. -----No one has been the equal of Rossi at what he does !...simple.

These guys certainly have huge balls. However none of these guys would come close to the times that Rossi, Pedrosa, Marquez achieve on a race circuit. That is why they race here and not in the MotoGP. In fact the TT circuit used to be on the GP circuit, and when it was, the people who were winning the TT were also the people who were winning the GP.
Valentino Rossi was probably shocked to see just how Dangerous TT Racing at Isle of Man can be , with so close to so many barriers that are not even Safety Barriers , those are people's front porches! 🙏
I'm pretty sure a a guy racing motorcycles for 30 years has looked up videos. I'm not a huge moto GP or Rossi fan. But I know enough about him to know he's a racing fan, beyond Moto GP
Shame when it lost its GP status, but money rules and Sheene and the Yanks didn't fancy the risk for little financial reward. Luckily we still have folk who will risk their lives for the challenge. Very brave folk.

As good as its gets to get the recognition of another popular fella who does drive more famous Motogp but ain’t exiting as road racers !... but it’s good to help them with popularity and of course it affects their financial status as well!... great for sport and sportmen
Well I just think that MotoGP is more exciting than the TT because it's a race where you race other riders, the TT is a race against the clock and the track so we don't see battles going down to the final corner like in MotoGP, that's just my opinion, as amazing as the TT is, it's not a "real race" I'd rather watch 3,4,5 riders fighting for the win.

@@ajsdjkdasjksdakjdaskj It depends on what's in their contracts...Most high level athletes and sportsmen are not allowed to do dangerous things.If they injure themselves doing something dangerous outside their competition,...it costs their employers (team) a shitload of revenue.If a sportsman at the level of Valentino says he won't sign a contract with the team if he isn't allowed to do certain stuff...Some teams make changes in the contract that ALLOW him to do whatever he wants.It's either giving him what he wants or seeing him sign for another team that grants him his wishes of doing dangerous things in his spare time

Mainly, all I could see was that t#t Marc Potter getting in the way -exactly as he did on the road. It was impossible to get a pic of Rossi on the road, because he was in the way everywhere.
Yeah watching, suppose to be top world class rider but knows his skills are not enough to compete with real bike racers. He needs a track with.miles of sand traps to save him when his skills come up short. Real riders ride on edge and know mistakes are deadly, not just a ride in sand trap
