What was the cost. I think if people actually give the viewers a ball park on how much these things cost. I think you would get more customers. I have a 63 that I'm restoring and I have no clue what to do with the top not working. Yes, ever shop in town will say they can do it but in the end you end up spending thousands on a shop that is pretty much winging it and prices goes up alone the way of winging it. This guy seems like the linc conv wizard. But to get him to drive where you are plus not knowing what it would cost to get the top working sounds like a 2nd mortgage. So in the end I just need to know a worst case number to go off
Hi John. My name is Tony, I just inherited a 1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible and the trunk lid opened and the top was trying to open but wont. I can separate the top from the front windshield but it just wont raise. I can hear the motors running. My question is, Is the battery weak? Does it have to have full 12 volts to let everything work? Next question, Now the trunk wont come down, the flap wont flip down, it did flip up. Could it be low on fluid? Or just now enough battery power? Please advise.
Tony, I’m having that same problem right now in my 62 where the top starts going up but then stalls out. I am hoping low on fluid. Did you ever figure yours out?
