1961-1965 Lincoln Continental: Convertible top and deck lid bleeding instructions

Made a quick video on how to properly bleed the convertible top and deck lid on 1961-1965 Lincoln continental. Ideally you would want to remove the hydraulic pump and stand it upright to properly remove air and to be able to check fuild levels. I bled the convertible top hydraulic rams first, checking fluid levels AFTER EACH CYCLE, then bled the deck lid hydraulic rams, again checking fluid levels AFTER EACH CYCLE. DO NOT CYCLE THE PUMP CONSTANTLY, 2-3 times should suffice. If more bleeding is needed, LET THE PUMP COOL DOWN before continuing. I hope this helps some people out!

Can you show me the working system of the front washer ? Mine do not work at moment and is the last maintenance . My 1961 cont convert is totally restored .

Did you bleed the top and then the lid, in that order? I replaced all of my pumps and lines, so my system is full of air. I am going to try your technique tomorrow. With any luck I will have working top.
