Weak Convertible Hydraulic Pump or an Internal Bypass?

In this video, I demonstrate 4 methods of checking a Top Convertible Hydraulic pump pressure and also checking the Hydraulic cylinders for internal leak. If you own an R129 SL Class Mercedes with a hydraulic convertible top, you may have come across the problem of internal bypass in hydraulic cylinders. In this video, I show you four straightforward methods to check your hydraulic pump pressure to determine whether your cylinders have this issue and explain how to fix it.

hi dear, thanks for the video , i have an r230 sl500 , my hardtop was working fine , and i noticed that i had a oil leek on the cylinder behind driver seat , i sent my car to a garage ,and now my hardtop nor go up or down and there's a malfunction on screen when i press to go down/up , what should i do, i cant trust any mecanique anymore , should i remove it and open it solo and check?
