Two truckers shows I followed while growing up, Moving On and BJ and the Bear. Funny that Atkins was in both of those shows. I built model trucks from both shows. They're both Kenworths.

I grew up on the shows of that era. Happy Days was another one and I remember learning that Henry Winkler was afraid of motorcycles. He never really drove one except for the one seen they showed at the beginning of every episode. I wonder now if Greg Evigan actually knew how to drive a big rig.
Henry Winkler didn't drive the motorcycle @ the beginning. That's why they never showed him up close riding it. His double was the 1 really riding the motorcycle @ the beginning.

I've been driving over the road since 1991. Driven a lot of different trucks. Including a flat top version of that truck. I miss cabovers. I'd give anything to have that K100E.
WOW!! This takes me back to my early years 1979 into the 1980s . I used to watch this because my dad was a truck driver as well.
The show first aired I believe in 1979 the same year I was at Three Rivers Stadium when the Pittsburgh Steelers won the super bowl. THANK YOU BJ52813 🤓👍

Always loved this show!! Building a model kit of this rig!! I also know Paul Sagehorn that has the number 3 rig from the later seasons of the show! I’ve sat in Paul’s rig and it has been autographed by Greg Evigan!
The 70, was silly and fun all at the same time, those were the days!!!
Brings back so many wonderful memories
Even animals were happier in the 70s and 80s....Lloll.
' you bet !
Nowadays they just tear your face and limbs off.
@Total Control 871 stop making shit up. Idiot Peta value animal life more than human because they are self loathing libtards!
I think "Total Control" is off his meds again. Sounds like a classic case of sociopathy.
Bullshit
Super Nice!! ❤
Recuerdos Inolvidables 😍
After watching BJ...I'll then watch Chips... then in Alberta ,now in 🇿🇦lots of love
I loved this show, as well as Movin On in 74. Never missed an episode of either show.
I used to watch this show as kid they don't make cool shows like that anymore
I was just thinking about this a week ago. Those were the good old days..
Definitely. I looked all in his truck and not a trace of a danged ol e- log. Lol!!😂😂😂 The good ol days.
This, CHiPs, Incredible Hulk and Dukes of Hazzard was my childhood in the ‘70s lol.

michael quesinberry Wow, I would've went if I'd known. 😔
michael quesinberry no ways!!!
it was built in Chillicothe,Ohio after it was restored they took it back there for a semi truck show ..
My co-worker was at a truck show a couple months ago and Greg Evigan (BJ) was there and he said he was very appreciative of all his fans and still a super nice guy.
@@zrulz Doesnt he own the truck now?
To bad this show wasn't on the air now. One of my favorites.
Two truckers shows I followed while growing up, Moving On and BJ and the Bear. Funny that Atkins was in both of those shows. I built model trucks from both shows. They're both Kenworths.
My brothers and I used to watch it as kids we were truck crazy I still am after all these years ..
Beautiful Memories.
Goodness I loved this show,,when everyone talked and had samething in common to talk about..
Desde chico siempre vi esta serie y su canción nunca se me olvido...Love Always....
I played with toy trucks when I was a child because of this show. I even had a C.O.E. KW toy truck and trailer back then.
That was my favorite show when I was a little boy about 10 years old I actually built the model of the truck that 1:24 scale wish I still had it I haven't seen this show in 35 years so to see the title opening credits theme music just blew my mind
I had one in a matchbox
I loved this growing up. Always wanted to be a truck driver. Ended up being that.
Ironically my name is G.J Rae and I have a dog who's my best friend, named Bear.
G.J Rae and his best friend Bear....toot toot lol
@Brandon Bell sorry dont understand that reply?
@Brandon Bell dont be fuckin lot lizards?
Loved this show as a kid!!
I somehow just came upon this vid in my recommendations, and before playing the vid, I tried my hardest to remember how the song went, because I remember watching this when I was a wee lad, perhaps close to 40 years ago.. I still haven't watched the vid & can just recall.. "BJ Mackay & his wonderful Bear.." Hope I am right 😊
Love this show! It's a great family show. It's hard tofind this on dvd. I would love to own the whole series.
Aye agree,44 years ago since this broadcast on Terrestrial TV,It's about time this came out on DVD,But it's the same old story ,The people who own the rights to it that make it annoying and Difficult to find ,Say like countries like the UK where I can't get TV shows like this or say Hunter from 1985 or Crazy like a fox to the rest of the Family Series The Littlest Hobo 😢The 21st century is rubbish to grow up in born back in 1973.
I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THIS TV SHOW!...THANKS!
My favorite tv show! I wish it was on dvd.
OMG…. Had to be one of my favorite shows growing up…!!
Thanks 🙉🙉🙉🙉
Thanks for the memories. XD
@@Headbanger427 sounds correct. My memory is a little fuzzy.
I think he managed enough courage to sit on it once.😜
But he was still plenty fun to watch.
Yes, Greg learned how to drive a Kenworth for the show.
Who ever watched this movie ... it turns out there is music here. OMG... 😃🌍⏰📺
NBC was the place to be when this show was on. One of my favorites.
