But those industrial strength claw ends are super hard to clean if you get blood or crusties where the clasp meets the gem.

How would I determine the gage of my current nipple jewelry? I like the jewelry you showed in the video but am unsure what gage I should be looking for.
The D ring is lovely! I’m in love with it! It’s very simple and beautiful! If I were to buy it, is it something that I can put on and bend myself? Or would I have to go to a piercing shop that can do that?
you can install them yourself generally, just avoid using tools because it'll damage the finish.
Enjoyed seeing your jewelry need to show how to put a a daith in after it has healed for a year.
I had my nipples pierced about 18 years ago, and circular captive bead rings were used- my choice. I never had a single problem with them, the curve isn’t really that severe unless the rings are too small.

Dude when mine were pierced 10 years ago with captives they did have the pressure on both sides of the jewelry, I wasn't as knowledgeable as I am now (thanks to you JC you're the best!) it left my nipples both slightly deformed now. :'-( I wish there was something that could be done about it.

Love the jewelry. I had my nipples pierced, but being of "ample bosom", I found that the weight of my breasts pushing into my bra caused a lot of discomfort and kept them from healing properly. Have you heard of this before? Also, if so, is there anything to do about it? I miss having them and wish I had had a better experience with mine. Going without a bra isn't really an option, when you a 44G. :P

Would you ever make a video on the different prices for good jewelry? Maybe starting with basic internally threaded implant grade jewelry, moving up to different kinds of metals with various adornments. I want to buy a whole set of nice jewelry for my 18 piercings, but I'm completely clueless on prices and the closest APP member is two hours away from me so I can't just stop by whenever.

Hi! I recently had my nipples done (well, not recently... I've had them out for about 8 mos& had them for over a year.) I was uncomfortable with how far forward they were pierced& am wanting to get them repierced. How long would be okay to wait? They are healed, but when I wear nipple clamps (Long Story Short: I'm a bondage model.) I have to clean the holes bc it like, squeezes my the new skin out or something... So im worried to get them redone. When do I know I'm ready to be repierced?

My piercer did mine with a ring and I’ve had no issue or pressure at all. It’s been 3 weeks now so still haven’t changed them but they’re doing fine ☺️

When mine were done they put in curved bar bells. Not straight. Can I switch to straight?

strum182 keloids? If that’s what you mean, you can usually get rid of them by rubbing s little tea tree oil on them.
My nipples were pierced with CBR's and healed great :) Ive since switched them out for barbells, and occasionally clickers! I most prefer standard ball looking barbells though, either surgical steel color or anodized black :) I didnt think i'd like the CBR's but they were actually pretty comfortable and I never snagged them, I just cant put them back in myself or I'd wear them too sometimes! lol
Also, i made the novice mistake of ordering externally threaded barbells, and quickly realized that internally threaded was the way to go.. lol

I am 36 and I have had mine since I was 18! I wore them through all 3 of my pregnancy too.
First time I changed my rings was into a rounded ones with the diamonds on the bottom but throughout the day they became uncomfortable didn’t realize my nipple was bigger than the ring and cause pressure 😭🙄
I got pierced with 12 gauge CBRs in San Francisco at a shop in the mid 90s. Turns out the guy pierced me crooked- i did not find out until i had to remove all my piercings before a broken finger, surgery.Now i got barbells (tongue bars) in them. I think any fancy jewelry would draw attention to the fact they are not better matched.

It's not a new "trend". Every competent piercer that has ever existed has taken composition and aesthetics into consideration.

Probably. If it’s externally threaded it means the material probably isn’t great since good manufactures would have all their jewelry be internally threats

I've always worn curved barbells in my 5yo nipple piercings, I wore straight barbells once (either Anatometal or IS) and found it pretty uncomfortable. Does anyone else found themselves in the same situation?
Caitlyn I was pierced with curved and anytime I try to change them to non-curved barbells it is uncomfortable.
I’m sure you guys might not see this but I got pierced with a curved barbell and I tried putting in a straight barbell and it wouldn’t go in, how did you guys figure out to put them in considering the angle and etc. ??

Ethan Brooks just never :) pressure on your nips is never good
if you have pretty small nipples rings are ok for healed wear (I wear rings myself) but if your nipple is over 1/2" (12mm) you would have to wear a pretty large ring to avoid pressure.

KimSarah if we are talking about the same piercing, that goes from the inner to outer conch of the ear, then the standard jewelry for that piercing is a curved barbell. You should not put straight jewelry in that piercing and all of the options presented here are straight, so I would say no.

JC, I've been considering getting my nipples pierced for some time but the only thing I'm worried about is potential loss of sensitivity, since that's something I highly value. Have you experienced customers losing sensitivity in the nipple region after piercing? Thanks!
I had 0 sensitivity before getting my nipples pierced and after they were really sensitive and I have a lot more feeling in them. Everyone is different 🤷🏼♀️
