Our Brooklyn travel guide! I don't think I've ever given Brooklyn the time and attention it deserves. I'm always drawn to Queens, and Brooklyn never got more than a side-eye. That was dumb. Brooklyn is a huge borough with so much going on. Food, people, life. So to make our Brooklyn travel guide I went in with eyes wide open and this great borough did not disappoint. What a place.

That's very, very kind. Thank you!
Had never realised just how big Brooklyn is!
Was looking for something to watch with breakfast. Saw this video at the top of my feed and did not even bother to look at the rest of the feed.
Ha, thanks! Hope breakfast was a good one!
What a wonderful video, thanks Alex and Greg! Brooklyn is definitely somewhere I want to explore more and there's so much to see and enjoy!
Thank you, sir!
Honestly one of the most influential channels on CZcams (for me). Really encouraged me to push my limits for travel, adventure and the unknown! Thanks!
Wow, thank you! If we can encourage just one person to travel, then we've succeeded.
There is a VERY good chance that your favorite musician lives here. Oh, and standup comedian. So keep your eyes open.
That's a great point! We saw one or two famous folks during our filming trip.
always such a beauty and pleasure watching these videos
That's really kind, thank you!
Well done dancing around the best pizza arguments! 😉
No matter what we were going to offend someone lol
So good to see it in the sun! I remember the weather on the Manhattan ep was pretty overcast. Lovely stuff again. The Maldives, Florence, Brooklyn - only a matter of time before the Leeds Travel Guide drops really!
Oh man the weather for the manhattan ep was diabolical. And as seen was we wrapped, glorious sunshine. Typical.
Wow, just stumbled upon this Brooklyn Travel Guide video! 🌆 Looks like an awesome place to explore on a budget. Can't wait to soak in the vibes and get some budget-friendly tips! 💰✈
Excellent work Alex!
Thanks, Steve!
This is the best travel channel for frequent travelers wo sometime travel for business, other times for leisure, and more often for a mixture of both. Love the stuff that you're producing. Would love to see if you would ever re-review some of the first cities from Attaché like Singapore, Barcelona, Berlin (my favorite city in the world), or the likes.
Thanks Andrew, that's really kind. Yeah you bring up a good point about revisiting cities. I'm itching to get back to Singapore and Berlin!
@ i respectfully diagree..alex needs to push the envelope and visit cities as of yet untouched by his visceral story telling and pracfical tips...
It’s 4 in the morning but if watch your stuff at any time!
Haha thanks so much!
Finally got around to watching this episode! Beautiful as always, but really noticing you got lucky with some great hazy light here and there! I may be the minority, but I generally find myself exploring Brooklyn/New York in general, by foot. Clocked many 30,000 step days there with my camera 😅
Waiting for that man. Thanks Alex. Wish you more succeess
Appreciate it!
lovely colors in the video!
Thank you!
So lovely to see a video from Attache again, and that too for one of my favorite places! Particularly enjoyed how calm Alex's voice is in this one!
This is the fist time I've seen your videos in my feed for a while. High quality as always!
That's good to know, we've been trying to understand why we're not showing up in feeds.
@ yeah it's weird, I was on a travel subreddit yesterday and people were talking about their favorite travel CZcamsrs and your name came up. It seemed like a lot of people were under the impression you were no longer making videos.
....really? Can you post a link?
Any plans on any travel guides down under in Australia?
Still trying to make it down there. We really need to!
get put into an induced coma over a month ago and wake up to new attache content, helps the recovery
I like the old fashion feeling of Brooklyn, it's as if it speaks to you coming there and exploring. Enjoyed the video keep up the good work!
that's really kind, thanks!
Wow! I wish I had been able to see this before I went to Brooklyn last year.
Now you have a reason to go back!
Immediately my phone buzzed I rushed to check out what it was fortunately, it was the Attach'e guy to one side of the Big Apple lol... Great vid here dear Alex💎👏🤝✌️👍 Queens guess coming up soon!
That's really kind, thank you!
@ You always welcome my friend ✌️💎💎💕💕
Thanks!
What a well made video, really impressive!
Alex, you have inspired me to travel to different European cities this past year, and I just returned from the Bay Area. Attaché has made things much easier! Much love!
So great to hear that, man, thanks for telling me!
@ if you're ever in Atlantic Canada and need a guide, please let me know!
Definitely, thank you!
Greenbergs is my local bagel shop! nice choice.
It was fantastic!
Another banger! The bagels looks delicious.
Loved the video. This was the first time in literally years that your video was in my feed! Thought you stopped posting!
Yeah there's something very weird about that. Not sure what's going on but I'm very happy that it appeared this time!
WOAH FINALLY
FINALLY!
Such a shame that most tourists to NYC don't make it out of Manhattan.
I would hope more do. As you've seen from a previous episode, I'm a HUGE fan of Queens. It's almost criminal to miss out on the broader NYC. But I understand that very often people are on the trip of a lifetime and want to see Times Square, Empire State Building, etc etc etc. I understand. But I do believe they're missing out.
Another cracking video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Outstanding content once again. Please consider Edinburgh (my city) or Helsinki as future video ideas
So cool to see a video about a place that I live. Marsha B Johnson park in Williamsburg, and Prospect Park are cool places. Also highly recommend taking the ferry for fun, cheap and incredible views
I wish we had time to take the ferry on this trip, it looks like a lot of fun!
This was lovely. I wish these would be longer though, like half an hour or something!
Thanks! We've done one or two eps pushing the 30 minute mark but man were they a lot of work!
New York ❤❤❤
As an American, I will add that you should always tip but do so based on service. Remember, 15% is the top, and if the service is top, that is what you pay, tipping is associated more with any sit-down service such as a barbershop, restaurant or taxi. If you receive bad service, please do not tip, as that breaks the system.
I haven't heard that take before, thanks for sharing
Some of the best service I've received was from Junior's. I was rolled out of the place!
Your video makes me want to see more of the place :D
I'm a cheesecake fiend, as evidenced by the video.
I hope to make it to Brooklyn and NYC in general, some day
It'll happen!
Loved the stylisation of this video and the editing. One question I have though, is that run down correct? You have to add a tip on top of those prices right?
No tips on Big Macs!
I'll be visiting Chicago this summer, very exciting! Is cash still king there?
Nice, I love Brooklyn. Your video in Jackson Heights was possibly your best video ever. NYC deserves the love. The Bronx next?
I'm proud of that episode, so thanks for saying that. This episode was a toss-up between Brooklyn or the Bronx...so the Bronx will be next!
@ my job takes me to 4 of the 5 boroughs, no Staten Island, but we don't count that one😇. I'm in the Bronx today, probably the most challenging one to really get to know on a short stay.
Yeah I'm really interested in the Bronx. I've spent some time up there and there's been a couple of good shoes that I think did a decent job covering it. It'll be an interesting one to attempt!
@Attaché Fordham road area, it's close to the zoo and the botanical garden. Arthur ave. arguably the beat Italian neighborhood in the city, and then Fordham road itself. A crazy mix of restaurants and retail with a real flavor for what the Bronx is now.
I'll have to get back there. My "other" work takes me to NYC a lot so we'll make it happen.
Your video on Chicago made me want to go there and now I want to go back to New York.
So glad to hear that, man, really appreciate the kind words!
No sleep til ! 🎵
Legit lol'd at $5.99 or 5 US dollars and 99 cents.
I panicked when I got to that part and just...rolled with it.
Enjoy watching your videos. Make more US videos. Thanks
Love the videos as usual. Whenever I'm confirmed to be going somewhere I always check if you've done a guide on it
That's what I like to hear! Thanks!
Do one for Philadelphia
JFK is the only airport I've ever missed a flight because of how slow security was. Brutal.
Ha, funny you should say that. It took Greg FOUR hours to get out of JFK when he landed. And that was with hand luggage only. Nightmare airport.
I feel like there is a stand up comedian in there somewhere
Another great video. I love hearing about all the history and fun facts you add into the videos. Multiple times throughout the video I said "WOW really?!"
Do you plan on doing more videos on American major cities or can we expect more variety from across the globe? Id love to see more videos on major cities in the US so I can add them to my travel destination backlog.
Thanks so much, Andrew. We'll definitely be heading out across the world again but the US is so huge, so diverse that we naturally gravitate back there regularly.
Are these videos really filmed on the DJI pocket 2 or do you use a different camera?
Almost all the "Attache Travels" are shot on the DJI pocket but the bigger, longer city guides are filmed on pro equipment. In fact, we should probably do another "how we make the show" videos!
@ okay so like this one is filmed on some bigger, better gear? Would love to see videos on how you make the show
It's strange to know that mostly payment is done by cash in New York. Why not online through google pay or something?
I think that's not just a NYC thing but a US thing. I'd be interested to know if it has something to do with transaction fees or something similar.
@ no, online payment apps like google pay do not charge any transaction fees. It's hassle free, plus we get a lot of offers and rewards after making the payment through GPay. We use it a lot here in Mumbai, India
I wonder if it's a tipping thing then.
@yeah, probably
The American financial system is very antiquated. Wait until you see what their banking is like.
Is there anywhere in the world more blue collar than Brooklyn
Basque cheesecake is so much better than the NYC cheesecake. Am I wrong?
They're different things. I guess it's like saying Neapolitan pizza is better than NY pizza. Or bone broth ramen is better than miso ramen. A question of preference at the end of the day.
@ I know it's a more mature stance but man idk who will ever choose NYC cheesecake over Basque cheesecake once they've tried one! :)
the number of subscribers on this channel is way too low.. your content is on par with travel channels
That's really kind, thank you!
👋😊👍👏✌️!!
ha, thanks!
Would love a video about Austin, TX?
Definitely on the cards!
This episode was: how to get to the restaurants, what you'll find at the restaurants and how much you'll pay. I'll appreciate more information on what can actually be seen and lived in Brooklyn. One doesn't travel to Brooklyn just to eat pizza.
Ah yes, we don't cover those elements of a destination because so many people want to experience so many different things in a city. But everyone needs to get around, eat, and pay for things. So we equip you with the tools to explore a city on your own terms. There's tons of great content out there on things to see and do in Brooklyn.
@ ok. If it's the purpose then you have done a great job (no sarcasm). Congrats.
Who eats a hot dog like that first of all? And second, all the propaganda about bagels ain't true. People just eat bagels however they like them toasted buttercream cheese egg sandwich whatever
Yeah I know, you're supposed to swallow it slowly in one go, as is tradition.
Disagree about junior's cheesecake. Average at best.
C'mon man, can't say that and not offer an alternative! Spill the goods!
@ Eileen's special cheesecake, ferarra's , and veniero's, but they are all in Manhattan. People talk about Junior's like it's a New York institution but it's just regular diner food. The cheesecakes at Juniors have a lot of different options as far as toppings go and that's why people love them but if you have the plain cheesecake you realize how little flavor it actually has
Welp, that's my next NYC trip booked solid!
NYC is dead. Crime is at a 21-year high and that's not even the worst of it. It's insanely expensive while retail vacancies are at record highs. Don't bother.
CORRECTION - you do not have to tip. It’s implied you have to. But you don’t. If the tip is compulsory, then just increase the listed price by that amount. I’m not paying employees wages. That’s their employer’s responsibility. If the employees accept a job below minimum wage, that’s on them. They should unionise and demand a raise. Go on strike. It’s a bullshit system of exploitation derived from slavery that I will not endorse. So no, you do not have to tip. I surely won’t be when I visit.
If you do not wish to tip, I implore you to eat only fast food and takeaway food then. The system may suck, but it is the system. If I hate taking off my shoes and refuse to do so regardless of custom, I should not visit a temple in Japan. When you visit a place, you follow their customs, period.
@@customnyctours - taking off shoes hurts nobody. It’s a very different “custom”. Tipping hurts all below minimum wage employees in the long run by endorsing and being complicit in their exploitation by their employers. 160 years ago, slavery sucked, but it was the system. Didn’t make buying crops harvested by slaves to enrich the slave owners OK though. Shitty systems and customs that exploit and discriminate against people need to change. That won’t happen if consumers are complacent.
@@chrisrenoir Making a gross slavery comparison because you don't like tipping is telling.
The overlap between people who hate this custom, and those who support proposed laws for a higher, living wage (etc) is pretty small.
The beat from the beginning, anyone?
Might as well do Bronx .
