However, threatening texts, emails, and acts of violence continued from the missing Cari until some shocking discoveries lead authorities to some unexpected evidence.

Thankyou for covering this! The Netflix documentary didn’t talk much about her murder and really only shared a small snippet! She deserves to be heard! It’s so sad that many people were trashing her while she was murdered (unknowingly) I can only hope she is at peace 🥺
Honestly the whole time listening to this before Savannah even says it, I knew it was Liz behind these harrassments. Cases like this piss me off because the police could have tracked the IP address so much sooner but instead just because Cari was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, they basically labeled her as having had a mental breakdown and ran away (with no proof of that) even though she was a hardworking loving mother and daughter.

Why didn't the Police track Carrie's phone location (even with triangulation) to see where the phone was, after those threatening kill messages? Dave and the Police should connect earlier with Liz, because that night, Liz showed up at Dave's home when Carrie was inside, insisting weirdly to grab some items right away. And then Liz was constantly involved in the whole stuff. Carrie's mom was also not thinking at all, by not pushing Police to investigate her daughter's disappearance as a fault play - after she "missed" her dad's funerals, and did not see her son at all for such a long period.
I would have thought they would also charge her with animal cruelty. 😔

this case was crazy! such a heartbreaking case tho. it reminded me a little bit of pretty little liars when you said "she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time" and how "A" did that as well. crazy to think about it. thank you for sharing this case! I had never heard about it until this video.

i’ve seen many vids about this and the series. HOLY HELL MANIAC…HOW DOES SOMEONE WEAVE SUCH A WEB. Holy hell kill her own animals burnt down her own house, murdered somebody she is really the devil in FLESH TERRIFYING!!!!
Having kids with someone is a forever commitment to that person. Married or not you are linked forever through your children and even if you’re not in a relationship you’re gonna have to deal with that person forever. Having kids is one of the most important things you can do and being married or not has nothing to do with how good of a parent you are or how committed to the kids you are but it does link you to your child’s parents forever. That’s a way bigger commitment than a marriage. You can end a marriage and never see that person again but once you have kids you’re going to be seeing them and dealing with them in relationship to the kids that you share forever. For someone like Dave to say that that’s not a big commitment seems ridiculous to me. Children should be the biggest commitment you ever make with somebody. I’m saying this in relation to this video and that Dave didn’t want to get married because it was too big of a commitment, but he still had two kids with Amy therefore linking himself to Amy forever. Planned or not, if you commit to raising them.and being a parent, you've got it for life. Having sex is planning on the possibility of conception, since sex has no other purpose but reproduction. Hoping you can get away with indulging in the pleasure w/o the natural outcome of sex is misnamed, 'unplanned' to excuse the participants of failing to cheat nature as they stupidly hoped. Kids are here forever.
