Sheik uthmaan is doing an excellent job in dawah and releasing mistake videos might have a negative effect with the non muslim.
Moreover sheik uthmaan always says that he is not a scholar, he said he is a beginner student of knowledge.

I sat sh. Usman alfaruq in mesjid who came in February in Chicago, wallaahi the brother was amazes me his lectures and I found out that he’s going to be in Minnesota I went and sat with him. I have a alot of great things to say about the brother. I saw the the podcast of dawa man honestly I didn’t like the questions been asked the sheikh. I don’t know the atmosphere in Uk, but I feel it’s alot of devotion in Muslim umma. Yaa Rabi unite this umma.

Uthman Ibn Farooq should stick to Da’wah then. When he calls out great scholars of the past and questions their Aqā’id, you would expect him to be well-versed in those matters. However he makes such mistakes in Quran and Hadith that any student of knowledge that has spent 2 months learning can correct.
There is a difference between honest slip-ups that happen once in a while vs hundreds of basic Arabic mistakes that too in the Quran as well.

The issue with getting facts straight is that some people will start judging without even hearing the whole context.
Like in this video, they all got engraged in the comment section telling how dare you point out recitation mistakes in Sh. Uthman. "everyone does mistakes". But they failed to realize and watch the later part of the introduction, where bro hajji mentioned that since Sh. Uthman presents himself as a Sheikh in his videos, attire etc. , he does have to qualify some standards.

Subhanallah!! This is actually insane. I was (and I am) a fan of sheikh uthamn but I never new his Arabic fundamentals were this bad. How in the world is he reading those high level Hadith and tafseer books that even i as a native speaker struggle with when he can’t even read Quran correctly. This is mind boggling

I can say that the word Sheikh can also be used to symbolise someone in old age etc. (as we do in Arabic and that's after studying the language and not just having a Yemeni background). Everyone who has a basic understanding of Islam knows very well the difference between scholar and shaykh. Vallahi only jahil can say to shaykh scholar. Because shaykh can also be someone who seeks knowledge. The problem with this video is to say WHY DO WE CALL HIM A SHAYKH... I mean WHEN we do not call someone who have MASTERS IN HADITH a shaykh WHO should we call then a shaykh ? I really dont understand it. Brother Uthman needs to specify the “Sheikh” in his title is it from an ‘aalim standpoint and that he has ijaaza/qualifications OR is the “Sheikh” title just referring to him as being an elder gentleman? That’s all it is. Because when people with even BASIC knowledge of recitation can spot certain errors on multiple occasions (and we ask Allah to overlook our errors and help rectify them ya Rab) then clearly there’s an issue and ppl will question one’s credentials. It’s like a Doctor specialising in medicine and performing surgery etc. everyone knows what is expected of a “Doctor” someone who has MD of PhD in their titles. But when the Doctor has on a few occasions had to do injections but he left the cap on more than once… eyebrows will be raised.
Uthman F strongly voiced against those that weren't doing the Raf 'Al Yadayn, the followers of Imam Hanifah. So yes, he thinks he's a Sheikh! He's not been through the traditional 7 year 'alim course... Hence the Salafi bandwagon.

Every one makes mistakes, even for a real "Mufti" and "Ālim" who have got ijazah, it can be a probability of the silliest mistake. It was absolutely fine if UBF stuck to dawah with Non Muslims and did not indulge in polemics in which he have shallow ilm. When UBF adopted extremist view in terms of valid ikhtilaaf in Aqaaid and fiqh, calling the other view as null and void by showing his lā maddhab traits. It's quite natural for the other side to highlight this silliest mistake and ignorance. UBF should stick toh dawah and not involved the polemics and the other side should also not mock a daaee openly especially that person who gives dawah to non muslims.

Brother haji in minute 37 the shiekh says in arabic " أنا أضِنُّ بحسنة تخرج منكم إلي" .
It translated to "im stingy for any good deed to come out of you to me" he means if you backbite me and wrong me your good deeds will be added to my scale, and i love you ikhwaani (Muslim brothers and sisters and not Ikhwan as in the group) so much I'm stingy for that to happen to you.
What has the ikhwan group has to do with what he said, he was talking to the muslims in general, al ikhwan group doesn't go around slandering people and calling them khawarij and such.

As-salaamu Alaykum brothers. It's fine you pick out mistakes. If person is in the public eye they will get praise and critism in public that goes with the territory. If its a valid mistake, that's great, something to work on. But the problem is the approach and method. What is the intention? (deeds are judged on intentions), is it to be sincere and guide someone with advice or the opposite?
I don't know what what happened to Bro Hajji. My assumption (I shouldnt assume, I know, forgive me), he was unfairly targeted/attacked in a harsh/ insincere way where the approach of any mistake could have been done with etiquette and good manners. Sad when I was searching for the content regarding the ruling of islam, this channel was not recommended. But when I watch the one that was recommended (for the content regarding islamic law), this channel was recommended. Not for knowledge of islam, but about the refutation on the da'i where i get the knowledge from. When I scroll down on this channel content, many of those is about refutation, not about the islamic ruling i need. I don't get the benefit, what i get is only 'oh this da'i is not salaf, this da'i is not salaf, this da'i is not salaf, beware this da'i '. This channel put me in more confusion rather than benefit. Now i lost on which da'i should i get the benefit of knowledge from. I get many benefit from masjid ribat channel, and when another moeslim refuting/ 'expose' shaykh uthman, now I'm asking myself "should i abandon all these knowledge i benefit from him?". I'm afraid those who are new to islam, feel more confused.

You guys are missing the point here. Hajji is pointing out the hypocrisy of the Salafis. He faced backlash for exact same reasons but when it comes down to someone of their own they turn a blind eye to it. Uthman is a Daee but he is in platforms where scholars are discussing and he has the appearance if thawb and what not. So he certainly needs to meet the standard.
