      @@i.1303This massive discrepancy exists despite the fact that there is no gender bias in the law favouring females.
      Whether you like it or not, the welfare system forces you as a man to pay for single women, many of whom, as you know, are degenerates.
      Without welfare and all kinds of affirmative action promoting women in the workplace, women can't support themselves. The feminist welfare state just distributes the burden of taking care of women to all working men. So you, as a man, have the burden of financially supporting these women without any benefit in return, women who will berate you and call you an incel if you disagree with how stunning and brave they are.
      Basically, Western liberalism forces you as a man to fund the lifestyle of women drinking, sleeping around with a new man every night, popping anti depressants like candy, going to the womens march on weekends to whine about how oppressed they are. You're literally subsidizing all that.
      Women being free is not free. Someone has to foot the bill.
      Islam says no. No one gets a free ride. You want to be taken care of. You have to be in a marriage as an obedient wife. And if you dont want to be an obedient wife, go be a burden on your father, who didn't raise you right. And if you don't want to live under your father's roof, go live in the wilderness or beg on the streets. See how long you last there.

    I love sh Uthman. May Allah protect him and bless his work. The podcast was very beneficial as well msA.
    I'd really look forward to a 2nd podcast to drill down into the political side. While it's very clear in Islam that we shouldn't rebel against our rulers for oppression alone, we can definitely criticise them. Umar ibn Al'Khattab himself was criticised and allowed it. Imam Ahmed in Hanbal publicly spoke out against the fitna of khalq al-Quran. There are many other examples.
    However, rebellion is a different issue. The question here should be, is a ruler that actively *hates* Islam and Muslims still a Muslim ruler worth obeying? A ruler who's sole purpose is to shut down any and all Muslim work?
    At the end of the day, those who say rebellion is haram would still follow those who rebelled if their revolution is successful even if they think it's haram to do so.

    • @wakemeup38
      @wakemeup38 Před 9 měsíci

      Much of the salaf rebelled and fought against the rulers FOR OPPRESSION. For example Abdullah ibn Amr was being oppressed by having his property taken away by the Ummayyad rulers and when asked by someone to just let it go so he wouldn't die, he replied with the famous statement of the Prophet (saw) : "Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr". There are many more examples from the tabieen who were in constant battles against the Ummayyads for their oppression
      The secular rulers of today that are consistently dismantling the Sharia and oppressing Muslims by killing and imprisoning them are much worse than the Ummayyads or Abbasids or Ottomans

    I appreciate Sheikh Uthman and his desire to bring the ummah together. That being said, I find something very wrong with his stance on criticizing rulers. He switched back and forth between Khalifa and ruler. Then when he said "why don't you go to those countries and say the same thing" and the brother responded "well they will arrest and kill me", the sheikh responded "exactly". So we are just supposed to be completely silent (as the oppressors want) while they arrest and torture our scholars? While they sell out to the west? As they work with foreign intelligence agencies against the Muslims? As they destabilize other countries, installing and propping up more oppressors? Changing the school curriculum to pervert the masses? Introducing fitnah where it didnt exist before? All while inviting foreign soldiers to establish themselves on your land? If the argument is that blood will be shed, my response is that blood has already been shed and is being shed. I'm not saying that the people in any specific country should just get up and start fighting the government, but calling it out seems like a reasonable first step.

      @pvcrma1 I understand, but what is the solution? Do we sit back and stay quiet while the ummah deteriorates? Our children continue being brainwashed in schools? Countries being destabilized? I'm not suggesting armed conflict. I'm not even claiming to have an answer, but is saying that allowing Halloween celebrations in the Arabian peninsula haram too far? Is saying that the rulers allowing clubs and bars in the land of the sahaba are wrong for doing so, being a khariji? Is speaking out against arresting, torturing, and executing scholars equivalent to calling for violence? I don't think so. Sitting silent and hoping for the best doesn't seem like an intelligent solution. If the people there know it but are unable to speak because of a direct threat of arrest or death, the rest of us have to be silent? If you run your country in such a way, armed rebellion is a NATURAL result. This is a rule that has been seen time and time again in history. Muslim lands or not.

      - 03. Repentance
      - 04. Go back to the way of companions
      - 05. Change our condition [13.11]
      Let us be realistic. The masaajid are practically empty and the potential of the Muslims are only seen on Fridays/Ramadaan/Eed etc.
      We want victory whilst we are far away from the deen of Allaah! Does that even make sense?

    • @Melhimri
      @Melhimri Před 9 měsíci

      @pvcrma1 that all sounds nice and I'm not discounting it. But, again, our scholars are being locked up. The scholars being promoted by the government are teaching government sponsored Islam. The companions challenged the oppressive rulers on many (and I mean MANY occasions). Many of our most famous scholars were arrested and tortured for publicly disagreeing with leaders.
      Let me just summarize the situation. The leaders are pushing the population into more and more western ways: introducing clubs, concerts, gambling, bars, mixed events, etc. They are also jailing, torturing, and killing anyone who criticizes them. Then you have a group of people who are saying criticizing them is haram and you are a khariji if you do it. The way of Islam is not to just sit at home and pray. It's قول و عمل. You speak and take action. The Prophet (pbuh) praised speaking a word of truth to a tyrant. If we just sit at home and pray (which was not the way of the Prophets or the companions), and forget about enjoining good and forbidding evil, you are just as blameworthy as the leader. Recall the hadith when Allah was going to destroy a city and the angels said there was a faithful man amongst them. Allah called for his destruction first. Go read about the sahaba and how they openly criticized Hajjaj ibn Yusuf on multiple occasions.

If I was there I would have asked him some hard questions where I am sure I wouldnt have gotten a straight answer. First question: If disobeying the rules makes on a Khawarij then tell me, what is Ibn Saud, who overthrew the Sharif of Makkah in a violent coup with the help of the British? Second question: He considers modern national state rulers as muslims. Tell me, if they dont apply the Sharia then does that make them Taghut? And if they are Taghut, then they cannot be muslims and we must not obey them. Third question: National state goes against the nature of Islam, which is all about destroying falsehood and uniting the people under ONE imam. How can Sh. Uthman be in favor of national state rulers, if it goes directly against Islam?

      His rationale of why they shouldn't is absurd and based on his assertion that doing so harms the youth in the country. Such a viewpoint is absurd as it tries to make criticism of a foreign stranger the reason a youth or his family is persecuted, instead of the OBVIOUS elephant in the room; the tyranny of the ruler. His view point is essentially saying the random criticism is causing harm not tyranny and opression of the one being criticised. Making the volume of adhaan was in response to complaints from citizens, so your qualm on that issue is with the residents, not the one acting on ther complaints, and lowering the max volume affects someone's deen how? Does it go in the Qur'aan and Sunnaah to lower the volume of the adhaan? Aren't we supposed to be a considerate people?
