  • "Fascination" by The Human League is a standout track that exemplifies the band's ability to create compelling and memorable synth-pop music. With its catchy melody, dynamic beat, and evocative lyrics, the song captures the excitement and intensity of human attraction. Its success in the charts and enduring popularity underscore The Human League's significant impact on the music of the 1980s.

Always loved this tune. While the album Dare had their more widely known tunes, Fascination was my favorite-such a cool song! In 1983, I was listening to classic rock mostly, my favorite genre. Particularly Pink Floyd (favorite band), Bowie, Police, Stones, The Who, AC/DC and so on. But I also loved some of the synth bands of the 80s, like Human League, Thompson Twins, Oingo Boingo, Depeche Mode, Erasure (still one of my favorite bands of all time).

That’s as broad a love of music as I could hope to hear about 😊👍 it’s what I’m looking back on myself with the channel 😎

Excellent cut from the Human League. I actually own the cassette version of the six-song EP Fascination! which also includes Mirror Man, Hard Times, I Love You Too Much, You Remind Me of Gold, and another version of (Keep Feeling) Fascination. 1983 I was 19 years old and hugely into the Human League. In 1987 I bought a synthesizer and started writing songs in the vein of HL. I look forward to hearing more from your channel.

A great tune but never heard this beginning to it (must have been a radio edit). Always dug it…A electronic funky new wave that was part of my 1983 playlist for this 22 year old who was soon to be married nearly forty years ago.
