If there's one tune which I think reflects Django's soul the most
then it has to be Nuages.
It's amazing but even though I've been playing this tune since I started playing
this music years ago, I never tire of the endless possibilities this gorgeous melody
    provides.
I really dug in deep on this session with Leo Eimer's new archtop guitar and poured
a bit of my soul into one of my favorite tunes of all time.
    Enjoy!

    Hi Robin,
Many years ago I burned my left hand very badly like the maestro, and you very kindly sent your instructional materials for my recuperation here in Maine.
I was quite traumatised and don't recall if I ever had the opportunity to thank you or not.
To any readers, it's extraordinary that a man in Europe would ship these materials for free to a stranger on the other side of the world.
Robin Nolan did, and I'm very happy to say that the hand has made a full recovery and does the chromatic scales in an annoyingly accurate and accelerated pace. :)
    Thanks, Brother.

The Nolan Brothers shine and Robin's guitar pulls at my heart. This rendition is so sublime and that guitar sound, Whoa... What is the guitar? Guild? Can't read on the reflection, not only does it sound amazing, it looks beautiful. Thank you.

Beautiful rendition vascillating between pure Gypsy, high jazz guitar, some rock, nice blues fills, and pure melodic/harmonic heaven..... very interpretive!! GO ROBIN!! Love playing this tune, too!!! Can't wait to try some of your ideas out!

This is the most tasteful and beautiful playing that I've heard on Nuages. Robin, you are definitely a master at what you do.

Kind of like witnessing a noble stag of a song being brought down by the pack of vicious and hungry wolves that are your fingers; each phrase a piece of bleeding flesh ripped from the body of the composition and dangled before our ears in gory triumph. Victory of technique over taste is total and definitive.
