Why Kendrick Lamar Secretly Hates Big Sean

  • In a recent verse that was leaked online, Kendrick Lamar is heard absolutely DESTROYING Big Sean within his bars. Saying, quote...
    'Big Sean keep sneak dissin', I'll let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can't make them respect you baby, it's not my job / You finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (Boy) / Cute a** raps, get your puberty up / Then make you a classic album before you come at us"
    But why did he cook bro so hard? Well, in today's video, I decided to do another deep dive on one most sneakiest rap beefs. So many subluminals were thrown, and it may have been tough to catch each and every one of them.
    Btw - I wanna credit @geekboutit for coming out with this title, 'Why Metro Boomin SECRETLY Hates Drake' - my video is a spin on that title with a different narrative.
    As always - Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed!

    Id say Kendrick had a bad person in his ear. And Kendrick is also a very competitive person who has a hard time trusting people to reconcile (said as much on Father Time).
    Big Sean on the other hand, is a pretty calm and collected guy. He doesnt take things to heart like that, but the Control questions were getting in thw way of his art. Which us why he seemed to hate talking about Kendrick but still claims there was no issues. But he just kept gettng better with cosigns from Ye, Eminem, Lil Wayne etc. which may have made a classical lyricist like Kendrick a little annoyed.

    Honestly rappers start or maintain their beefs on their own yes. But 90% of the time it’s the fabs the start and maintain it because we typically make comparisons of one rapper to another. Kendrick wasn’t starting no beef, he was literally shaking up the rap game and was successful at doing so. But people only focused on Big Sean because it was his song but nobody really spoke about other rappers responding. This “beef” is honestly on the fans.

  • @RobRegal
    @RobRegal Před 5 měsíci +3

    Just a heads up for what was mentioned near the end - copyright strikes for music are usually tied to the beat of the song, not the lyrics. They're also usually handled by the label rather than the artist, and even that is not usually done directly by them, but by a method called "audio fingerprints" (any musicians that use services like Distrokid can verify this - platforms like Twitch, CZcams, and Instagram use similar methods to automatically know when you use somebody's music in your uploads as well). So yeah, dude that leaked that verse getting a copyright strike doesn't necessarily make that "Element" verse real, it just means the beat triggered the system enough for a strike to be issued, especially with how fast it spread.

None of that was beef. Some took it personally for sure but those tweets showed how much everyone appreciated having a fire lit under them to get them to show why they had earned a name in the first place.
