As a AA Liberia is first on my list to invest.
Robert Johnson, of BET fame, was going to develop a large hotel but not sure if it got off the ground.
@@aped he opened it in 2008.
But there are rumours he sold his interest in it.
But the hotel itself seems to still be operating.

Long time investment in Liberia is a good way to look at it compares to that of Nigeria and Ghana. Don't forget one thing that Ghana and Nigeria have that Liberia doesn't have is the population. If you have the opportunity to invest in Liberia this is the time to do it because long time investment pays out. Secondly, many of you did happen to see Ghana in the 90s as refugees living in Ghana. Ghana wasn't at the position that they are in today. Liberian just have to keep the peace, love one another, stop hitting each other, bring your ideas together, as two heads are better than one, and lately, embrace your roots as one Liberian because in doing so Liberian will develop Liberia from the West Coast to the South East.

I'm a Liberian lady who's lived in Europe for 20 years now. I plan coming back to venture into farming. Want to know the specific crop or crops to get involve in. Also want to know the possibility of getting buyers for the crops. Hope someone can help.

Since I have been in the marketing /communications field for all of my professional life, I sound like a broken record when I advise individuals to consult with a marketing professional (like the Vantage Group)before opening their businesses. Folks think they will open a business and it will just take off without a comprehensive marketing plan.

Spot on. In case of someone I know, when she was told to consult a "marketing professional," she only saw an increased in her budget. But she was glad she consulted the professionals, because business is booming.

The only way to grow an economy is through trade. Liberia is a small country, it should make it as easy as possible to facilitate commerce.
