  • Sermon for Sunday, October 19, 2014
This is the fourth sermon preached in English on www.thecloudchurch.org
It was preached by Pastor/Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker, and shows the difference between the Law and Grace, proving that we are not under the law, rather under a time period in history where God saves man by GRACE through FAITH in the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4).

@@michaelreyes-er8el MIchael Reyes: Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. Thanks for your reply. Now let me share this with you: How can you sin if there is no law? Christ effectively abolished law on Eph 2:15 via Rom 10:4. When no law, no transgression, Rom 4:15 because the knowledge of the law, is the knowledge of sin and the "the sting of death is sin, and the STRENGTH of sin is the law" 1 Cor 15:56 there is also a STRONG man (of sin) in Matthew 12:29
This way you will never impose your will (your law) on anyone. This way you will completely stop sinning. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you all. Amen

@@michaelreyes-er8el Loving grace to you Michael.
Think that if your force your will on someone is like if you force your law on someone. But if you abolish law, then no more forcing on any. Another example: John 1:17 compares law vs grace, asif comparing lie vs truth, so we can see it as if Moses brought Law & Lie, but "grace and truth" came by JC. This way, if one has abolished the law in his flesh, he will no longer use lies and manipulation to get away with his will (and forget anybody else) but he would be a perfect man in Christ, (EndOfLaw Rm10:4) no more lying, raping, stealing, abusing, etc... So this perfect man in Christ now will do the "Will of God" - I would have mercy and not sacrifice - since the only thing that offers sacrifice is the law in Heb 10 en the end: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

As a former jehovah's witness, I am so grateful for this explanation. Witnesses always feel guilty because they can do enough to feel secure in salvation. But understanding grace is so freeing! By living a life of works, I was saying what Jesus did wasn't enough. I could save myself if I did enough. That was the lie I was taught from birth. Today, I am free of that burden. Jesus kept the law for me. He did what I could never do. He saved me. Ex JWs struggle with guilt even after they leave the cult. But I hope many find this video so they understand that Jesus set them free! Praise be to God for our salvation!

Rom 6:14 For sin SHALL NOT have dominion over you: for ye are NOT UNDER the law, but UNDER grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not UNDER the law, but UNDER grace? God forbid.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in THE LAW OF GOD after the INWARD MAN:
Rom 7:23 But I see ANOTHER LAW(the carnal law of sin)in my members, warring AGAINST THE LAW OF MY MIND(Rom 7:22) and bringing me into captivity to THE LAW OF SIN which is in my members.
Rom 6:14 commanded you to NOT let the SIN to have DOMINION over you to put yourself again UNDER the Law OF SIN(Rom 7:22,23).
Are you sure that you will obey Rom 6:14 so that are never sinning after Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 so that you will never let the sin to have dominion over you to never put yourself UNDER the LAW OF SIN so that you will make as possible to be UNDER grace ?.
And so is clearly that calling yourself AS SINNER you cannot see yourself as being UNDER grace.
All these verses make totally clearly that you can be UNDER AGRACE only so long time you will NOT let the SIN to have domination over you, because SINNING you put yourself UNDER the law of sin.
The whole CHRISTianity are deluded by demons to see the as LAW OF SIN reading verses about the LAW of God given beginning with Exodus 24:12 in 40 days journey WITH God to know all about Jesus as Sanctuary(John 2:21 Colos 2:2,3) given so that following Him we will be sanctuaries(1Cor 6:19 1Cor 3:16 2Thes 2:3,4 Colos 1:27).
Hopefully you will do your best to understand all these verses so that the Law of God made of more than 600 laws of the Sanctuary you will never see as LAW of sin so that obeying Jesus in John 6:44,45 you will have in Galatians 3:24 Father’s Law given beginning with Exodus 24:12 so that after fulfilment of Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 with the HELP of the Law you will KEEP God’s original 10 COMMANDMENTS Exodus 20 to be IDentified in Rev 14:12 Colos 1:26 as SAINT receiving God’s MYSTERY called Christ(Colos 2:2,3 John 2:21) being God’s sanctuary(1Cor 6:19 1Cor 3:16) so that in 2Thes 2:3,4 Rev 12:17 Rev 13:15 Rev 16:16 2Thes 1:10 you will END successfully the Armageddon started in heaven against Sanctuary(Ezec 28:18 2Peter 2:4 Rev 12:7) breaking their eternally state of REST in obedience RESISTING against God.

But for those who live in the Secular realm, we humble ourselves and abide by their laws for their sake. If we are doing works for man, our works are like filthy rags. If we are fulfilling Gods Will, we will be Blessed.

To judge (as in "to condemn", the purpose of law) finds fault and shows a disinterest in the intrinsic value of the individual.
To love (as in to affirm, the purpose of grace) finds perfection in imperfection and shows interest in the intrinsic value of the person.
It's easy to see which one will inspire growth in the receiver.

So the commandment that John is referring to is that one commandment which is also found in the Gospel of John...
We need to love one another knowing that Jesus first loved us...as simple as that...

Law says, Follow the sabbath rules. is Jesus followed the Sabbath rules or against?
I want to this? Man was created by God's image in 3 Layer (Body, Soul, Spirit).1 Thesolonians 5: 23.
According the scripture,Where did men made Sinner (Died (Lost his Glory) because of trespass, and where he was saved (Body, Soul, Spirit)?
If we are Saved Bodily, we can give the fruits through physical actions by Keeping up the Laws.(Bodily).

Solomon Sathianathan We try and keep the law as Jesus did. Yes I said 'try' because of the men we are there is no way to keep it perfectly as Jesus. That is why we have Grace at this time to go and ask for forgiveness from God through His Son Jesus. But just as Jesus read Isaiah 61:1-2a also in Matthew 5:18 where He states that "... till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." These two verses alone tell me that the Law is still valid and we need to follow them as well as we can. Yes Jesus gave us grace for those things we do wrong, but we need to confess and try as hard as we can not to do them again and follow Him.

Steven Farlee Dear Brother, Please give a chance to Holy Spirit with in you to explain those Verses. Because, We need to read the scriptures by Neutral mind, Unfortunately, its already recorded by Denominations Doctrinal.
Keep all your previous thoughts, which you learn from Worldly Knowledge Teachers / Scholars. The same mistake I did past years.I meditate 14 years along with my knowledge, which I learn from my Denominational Preachers. ,But keep on confusions only remaining in my life. I just Wearing a Holy Mask before the Church going Christians.
Finally, I say in my mind, all these Scriptures and the Preachers are cheated the people's. There is no deliverance through these word of God, no meaning to read and no meaning to follow. Because, If we try to follow also, it cant be success, then what is the meaning to follow.
What Paul says in Romans Chapter 7:24, I also came in that condition. Then the last moment Spirit of God open my eyes to see the exact deliverance truth. After my eyes open by the grace of God, I red that same verses again, But, It was not like, which I read before. Yes, its true.I seen the Deliverance Truth God already given through Jesus Christ.
So, please keep all your Religious beliefs/Traditions thoughts which your learned from your Childhood. And Just ask to Father to open your Spiritual eyes to see the Deliverance Truths.
I want to say one thing, I am not belong to any Denominational Beliefs. I believe Almighty father and I seen the Relationship through Jesus Christ. Which is more than enough of me. It will make me every day happy and Peace.

Solomon Sathianathan I am glad that you brought up Romans 7. Paul wrote Romans 7 as if he were still a Jew (without Christ). Romans 8 is the continuation of that as a Christian. In chapter 7 he talks about wanting to follow the law with his mind (his own will), but failing because the law of sin and death that is in his flesh. He realizes that he is wretched and his mind is at war with his flesh. He then asks who will deliver him from the body of this death. Then he says that he thanks God through Jesus then again acknowledging that he was with the mind serving God, but with the flesh serving sin. Then chapter 8 starts. He says that the law of the spirit of life in Christ has made him free from the law of sin and death (which he said was in his flesh in chp7). Then in verse 3 of chapter 8 he says that what the law could not do (the law which he said in chap7 was in his mind), because it was weak through the flesh, God did through his son, condemning the sin which is in the flesh. Verse 4: "that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not in the flesh but after the spirit."
It literally says "that the righteousness of the law might be fulfill in us, who walk not in the flesh but after the spirit". So grace is Jesus forgiving you of your past sins and giving you the ability through the spirit to live perfectly by the law, because we could not do it on our own. Many people say that if you are saved you will keep sinning and never be perfect, but that is not actually what the Bible teaches. Jesus has said that you must repent, that a good tree cannot produce bad fruit, that those who love God keep his commandments, and told the woman he saved from stoning to sin no more, etc. It is written in multiple places not to be deceived that sinners will not inherit the kingdom of God. Many people though, are lukewarm when it come to reading the scriptures

No one is able to keep to keep the laws of God. We have all broken at least one of God's laws. No one is perfect. We have come short of the glory of God. God knew the laws were not perfect, that is why he came as Jesus in human flesh to be the sacrificial lamb. To die and shed his blood for our sins. We all sin everyday. Only Jesus, our Lord and Saviour is perfect!!! The Bible says that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus! No other way!

Which I do not see by what Jesus said but I do understand Jesus said he gives us two laws to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart with all thy soul with all our mind and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves and that includes our enemies. Thank you so much a clarifying past from the Jesus era. May God bless you and may God continue to bless Israel.

To all those who think Jesus said to keep all the commandments, you need to read 1 John where it says, THESE ARE HIS COMMANDMENTS: That you believe on the one he has sent and that you love one another!!! Christ died to end works based mentality and show people they didn't have to be under the duty of the law anymore. The Holy Spirit would be in them now and teach them how to love, and forgive. If you are walking in the Holy Spirit, you're turning your eyes from sin not "falling into it." If I am walking with YHWH, with Yashua, in the Holy Spirit I am obediently not coveting, stealing, or even hating. The moment the inkling comes to my carnal mind, I reject it and ask Jesus to help me overcome it. It's a choice- the free will to just say no.

Amen!! Such great teaching !! Yes we believe, trust, depend and rest in the finished work of Jesus!! Jesus has kept all the laws and fulfill it and he has pay the penalty of us breaking the law!! He fulfill the keeping of the law for us and he pay the penalty by His blood!! We trust in what he has done !! The law demanded obedience so he obey without breaking! The law demanded death for breaking it , so he die to the law!! So we believe and trust in His work for us!! Grace is also Jesus doing for us what the law demanded !! If we go under the law, the strength of sin will be given by the law to condemn us !! It’s like Sin goes to the Holy Law and ask .. may I have dominion over this person for breaking your Law!! The Law say yes you have power and authority to condemn Him!! The Law pointed out the Enemy ( Sinful nature) but couldn’t kill it!! Jesus came and condemn SIN in the flesh!! God crucify our sinful nature to the cross with Christ!! Knowing this , that our old man ( sinful nature) was crucified with Him, that the body of sin may be done away with! That we should no longer serve SIN but serve Him that die and rose again!! I am crucified with Christ, it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me!! The life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God who die and gave himself for me!! What the law could not do, that it was weaken by the flesh , God did by sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to Condemn SIN ( sinful nature) in the Flesh! The law pointed out the enemy ( sinful nature) Jesus came and kill the enemy through His death!!! We die to sin and we die to the law because the Holy Spirit baptize ( unite) us into His death, burial and resurrection ! What happen to Jesus happen to us!! So reckon yourself dead to sin but alive unto God!! Death and resurrection!! Anyone or any denomination that teaches and bring people under the law are CURSED by the Holy Law! They deny the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus! They deny His blood! They depend and trust in themselves to achieve approval and righteousness from God!! Their PRIDE DECEIVE Them ! They refuse and reject Jesus finished work on the cross for them!! They go about trying to establish their own righteousness! They refuse to submit to the righteousness of God which is by Faith in Jesus Work!! They depend and trust in their own work!! This is the spiritual pride that cause deception and send people to Hell!! The true struggle is the struggle with Pride against God!! And the message of Grace is truly the revelation and manifestation of the Pride that exist in the heart of men!! This refusal or rejection and rebellion is the true struggle against God!! The Declaration of Independence from God in every way, even in the midst of God goodness and love!! His mercy and grace!! His forgiveness and patience!! Rejection, refusal, rebellion, unwillingness, stubbornness etc are all manifestations of PRIDE!! I do not need God they say!! I do not need to depend on Jesus!! I depend on myself in matters of the spiritual things !! With the knowledge of good and evil, I can decide for myself what I need and choose!! This is the Declaration of Independence from God!! The tree of the knowledge of good and evil ( us) versus the tree of Life( Jesus) God oppose the PROUD but GIVES GRACE to the HUMBLE !! When you realize you are guilty and you are lost, you will learn humility!! Only the sick needs a physician... go and learn what that means!! Only those that know they are spiritually sick needs a Savior to save them !! Amen 🙏 Remember the Law reveal SIN( sinful dictator within us) !! This means the Holy Law found the enemy!! Pointed out the enemy ( SIN) in us but couldn’t kill the enemy !! Jesus came and in the flesh and crucified the Sin Nature that was in us through his death!! This is not the fruits of sins ( plural) but the tyrant dictator SIN that dwells and have dominion in us!! That is why you can never get saved by quitting the behaviors or fruits of sin!! You can cut fruits from a tree all you want, it will grow again !! You must chop off and uproot it or kill it!! Jesus came and crucified SIN( the root cause that produces the fruits) so believing in Jesus death also means that his crucifixion of the sinful nature that existed in our human soul was also our crucifixion!! We have been crucified with Christ and have die with Christ to sin and to the law that reveal sin and bring death and separation!! The law has no jurisdiction or demands to those that are dead!! Death free us from all the obligations of any laws!! That is why it is so important to understand that we must RECKON ourself dead sin ! The law has no dominion over a dead person!! It cancelled all obligations!! The law demanded death for us breaking the law !! So Christ die and we also die with him the moment we believe and trust in what he has done for us!! Everything that should of happen to us , Jesus took the punishment for us!! That’s why it is Grace!! There are more to Grace than just his death for us!! Righteousness, Adoptions , etc ❤️❤️.. A believer must understand what was accomplished at the cross, what was done, what was broken, what happened etc !!

Grace was a beautiful teaching but somehow got lost in people’s need for control and desire for perfection. Jesus simplified our relationship with Father God. The Bible comes to life through every scripture through this understanding and reveals its connection through every thread. The garden of Eden is exactly the place God bought us back to through the death of His Son Jesus Christ!

@@ghost_of_righteousness I see where you are coming from. However, to really understand the Bible, we must approach it as a school or library of books covering events from the very start to the end of time. I think sometimes we approach it as if it were one book and that causes us to be conflicted by verses that are seemingly contradicting. With that, whenever we study the Bible and read a segment, we must ask ourselves these three key questions: who's speaking (the author)? who is he speaking to (the audience because they are several different audiences)? what is going on in this era in which the author speaks (the dispensation or era)? That is because while all the Bible is fruitful for our knowledge, not everything in the Bible is applicable to us based on the era. That is true for the past as well as for things that are to come in the future. If you look up: the Bible dispensations, you will understand that there are 7 different timeframes or eras that take place in the Bible. Today, we are living in a particular era that's called Grace or the Dispensation of the Grace of God. The verses you referenced speak to another era called Kingdom. That's why 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV instructs us to "Rightly divide the word of Truth".

Jesus say in Matt-5:17-19 law was never removed
Yes NO ONE CANT keep the law perfectly, Jesus says in Matthew 19:26, with men this is impossible; but with GOD all things are possible.
Paul says in Romans 6:15 what then? Shall we we sin, because we are NOT under the LAW, but under GRACE? GOD forbid.
Paul also says in Romans 7:12 the law is HOLY. (V22) I delight in the law of God
Paul in 1corinthians 7:19 all that matters is KEEPING OF THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.
1 John 3:4 whosoever committeth SIN transgresseth also the LAW: for sin IS the transgression of the Law.
1 John 3:22 what we ask of God, we receive, because we keep his commands
V.24 he that keepeth his commandment dwelleth in him, and he in him
1John5:3 for this is the love of GOD, that we keep his commandments:
Revelation14:12 saints keep the commandments of GOD
Revelation 22:14 blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 12:17 the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to war with the remant of her seed, which KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.
Jesus said to the lawyer in Matthew 22:35-40 and to the young rich man in Matthew 19: 16-24 to keep the commandment if they want to have eternal life
John14:15 if ye love me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.
It is because of God's grace that we are able to obey and keep faith in him.

Hello Tyler. I just read your remark here. Do NOT listen to proponents of the law. They - themselves - do not follow it. If they say they do, they are lying. The only person that has ever been able to follow the law is our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Moreover, I noticed you wrote " I am a sinner who needs grace..." I beg to differ, My Brother. Because I know you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible says your are God's righteousness. Your debt has been paid: past, present, and future. Remember... God remembers your sins no more. Why does He NOT remember your sins no more? He doesn't remember them because of the blood of His Son. It is because of Jesus' blood that you are God's righteousness. This is the liberty of Grace.
The guilt in you saying, "I have failed Him in so many ways... " comes from the law. God's peace and blessings, Tyler.

I have failed Him in so many ways comes from the condamnation of Satan. We often confuse Salvation with everything that God expects us to do, we have responsibilities to follow the so called 'law', however the word law law leads people to wrong concluetions and it is far more accurate to call them what they are 'God's instructions for how to understand his commandments of love, that are the end results, and why we need to follow his words that He has given us.

Someone who is saved by faith in Christ can not be under the Law.. The Law is for those who have fallen short and have not Christ!
If you have a speed limit and you never break it, then you are not subject to that speed limit law but if you break it you are subject to that law if you break that law! As a Christian you can't sin because you are saved by faith in Christ and your sins have been forgiven!
As a Christian we know sin, we are aware of those sins and we repent when we stray.. those under the law don't know sin and don't repent because they are without Christ and are not aware of those sins.. The Law of Moses is a totally different deal! That is for Jews and it is what Jesus took us out from under!

    • @rchry623
      @rchry623 Před 5 lety

The law is not for jews only, the law will judge the nations, as well as us who are saved by grace, when we are judged for our works, not our salvation. The moral law shows us what is right!! If we are to be more like Christ then we must be moral, not for salvation, but because of our salvation!! I am not speaking of the ceremonial law and sacrificial law and dietary laws, we know from scripture that Christ ended those clearly. Romans 8 says, and other scriptures that we are free, have liberty from the condemnation of the law so that we can now fulfill the law. Romans 8:4. Paul delighted in the law of God because He loved DOING right! Maybe this is why we have christians living like the world because they do not know what is moral by the moral law that Christ completely kept because He was perfect. We should strive to be as moral as we can BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED, NOT TO BE SAVED. This is what James teaches, prove your belief by what you do. True belief has action according to that belief. 1 john says if you love me, are saved, keep my commandments. I praise Him for my unmerited, unworked for salvation only found in Christ, my redeemer. But you can bet that if i love Him i will do what is right with all my strength.

    "Christ is the END (telos)"
“TELOS” can mean “end” in the sense of “goal” or “completion”."
“To what END are you attending college?” - The word “end” in that context would refer to the “objective” or “goal.”
"The Greek word telos, translated “end” in Romans 10v4, can convey variations in meaning, including “ ‘the aim or purpose’ of a thing.”
1 Timothy 1v5 Now the END OF THE COMMANDMENT is charity out of a pure heart,
1 Peter 1v9 Receiving the END OF YOUR FAITH, even the salvation of your souls.
    And my favorite-
At @30:37 you said, "Romans chapter 10v4 it says for Christ is THE END OF THE LAW. It can't be any clearer than that can it?" Is it just as clear in how you interpret "end" in Romans as it shows in James 5v11? - Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen THE END OF THE LORD. - What does it mean "end of the Lord"? No more law and no more Lord?
"Christ is the end of the law"
Christ is the purpose and object of the law. Christ is the completion and essence of the law. Christ is the goal and aim of the law. Christ is the scope of the law. Christ "is" the law.
Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on Rom. 10v4-
"THE LAW IS NOT DESTROYED!!, nor the intention of the Lawgiver disappointed; but full satisfaction being made by the death of Christ for our breach of the law, THE "END" IS GAINED! That is, Christ has fulfilled the whole law, therefore whoever believeth in him, is counted just before God, as much as though he had fulfilled the whole law himself." The law is not destroyed Matthew said.
Joseph Benson's Commentary on Rom. 10v4-
"Christ is the end of the law" - The scope and aim of it; for righteousness"
Romans 3v31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW!!!
Revelation 14v12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
It was Jesus, Jehovah, who gave the ten commandments at Mt. Sinai, and it was Him who kept them for us. If we love Him we will keep them too.
Jesus, is it ok to steal and lie? Jesus, is it ok to dishonor my parents and sleep around? Jesus, is it ok to murder and covet? Jesus, is it ok take your name in vain and serve other gods? Jesus, is it ok to make graven images to bow down and serve them?
He answers that. In John 14v15 Jesus says "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
"Abolished", He abolished the law "contained in ordinances" - No more ceremonial law with all it's ceremonies. No more earthly sanctuary, no more animal sacrifices.
No more ten commandments sound right to you? That's because it isn't right. Try telling the local judge in town that the Bible teaches people don't have to keep the 8th commandment any more.
It can't be any clearer than how Paul puts it in Romans 7v12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Your missing many factors. The usual taking the text on it's own is what you have done. Because something is true in one text it doesn't mean it's true in another. The law is still in order in the form of love. That isn't the issue. The issue is CAN IT SAVE YOU? Paul's answer is NO.
      Gal 3
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
It isnt any more clear in context not just one passage by itself. Now we are called to walk in the Spirit of the kaw wich is love for one another THIS is the command of Jesus. He is the END of the law for SALVATION and the FINISHER of our faith. So the law is done away with in terms of justification and salvation NOT in daily living and blessings in this life and Gods porpuse for us. Not to mention none of us are jews here and can keep all of the law. You don't keep the law do not be deceived!

Do you have pride and consider yourself more worthy of Gods kingdom over others? Those who are under the law are under a curse. You must rightly divide or you end up like you. Deceived in to actually thinking you keep the law. The new testament doesn't tell us to stop keeping the law. It tells us to not trust in it or look to it to be saved or kept saved.
Moses is going to accuse and judge the Jews in the day if judgement for not accepting christ and relying in their own righteousness. for everyone that thinks they are under the law and keeps the law have not kept perfectly so they are accused under the law for he who breaks one commandment breaks them all and none of his righteousness will be seen. what do you think he's going to say to you, a gentile? He won't even look at you.
I showed you and you are convicted that it says Christ is the END of the law for righteousness to those who believe. He literally is the END he finished it and put it away for your benefit because you have never kept it and never will in this fallen flesh. Now onse we are saved we are called to holiness and love butbthisbis only truly possible when we are free tpbsee ourselves as we are and come to God boldly not in our flesh and our righteousness but in His righteousness.
      2 cor 5:21
      New King James Version
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
      Php 3:9
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

      1 cor 15:56
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
      Romans 7:11
For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS and of faith toward God...
      Eph 5 :2
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
      1 cor 9:21
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
      Rom 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Joel Ramos I have been grafted into Israel(The True Church and Bride of Yeshua ha’mashiac) I am in the new covenant with my father in Heaven and have his laws are written in my heart and in my mind, and I am his people and he is MY God! God isn’t coming back for a gentile bride, (the whore of Babylon) you can keep your Roman rooted religion and pagan ways! We are called to be set apart from the world. I am circumcised in my heart by our high priest and it’s the circumcision not made by hands but of the spirit. The Holy Spirit gives me power of the WANT to obey instructions. There is a reason why Jews don’t believe in Yeshua(You know him as Jesus). Because From the beginning the Pharisees and now Roman Christians accused Yeshua as being a false prophet. And by your every claim in your twisting of the scriptures have definitely proven it. You need to Repent for the lawless path your on, and have faith that a prophet like unto Moses came and redeemed you from taking away of the most highs instructions. You probably haven’t even read the Torah in a loving manner to understand. How do you love God? How do hate what he hates and loves what he loves, or are you focused on his love for you and what he did on the cross that your worshipping him in a way he does not accept; golden calf would be the perfect example! You do not know YHWH or his Son whom he sent, because if you did, you would’ve believed what Moses wrote, and everything he wrote was about Yeshua, the Fathers words would be in his mouth and speaking his fathers will and not of his own. In vein do you worship the creator; a lawless generation

Only made it 5min in and already came up with some questions.
So if we're not under the law why did Jesus say:
    KJV Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Why does Paul tell us not to sin?
    Romans 6:15
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
If were not under law what is sin?
And lastly what commandments was Jesus talking about in Revelation 22:14?
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

      @rtballin Před 8 lety +1

SuperTichin I agree it's not hard to understand. In verse 17 he says he didn't come to destroy the law or the prophets. But to fulfill. Then if we read the verse right below it Matthew 5:18.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.
It's easy to see that nothing will be changed until everything is completed. Is Jesus here? Have we fulfilled the prophecy given in Daniel and Revelation? No.

Again, it is not hard to understand what Jesus was saying.. The law had to be fulfilled, till then the stronghold of the law, which was a curse, would not come to pass.. The law was fulfilled by Jesus himself. This we're the words of Jesus before the cross..
At the cross he said "it is done" "finished " "completed ".. You take your pick at the words you want to use..
Like I said, this is not hard to understand unless you want to have some personal merit for your salvation.. Which you obviously do.. You have fallen into pelagianism...

Do you even know what law Jesus came to fulfill?

Yes, because He said His Law is forever (Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.) Robert is combining the two different Laws (Exodus 31:18 Deuteronomy 10:1-5 vs Deuteronomy 31:24-26), then consider Matthew 22:36-40, where Jesus states that the Two Commandments He proclaims, ALL the Commandments hang (The Ten Commandments). It's important to note that during the Old Testament, though under Law they were saved through faith too. Abraham though a Jew living under the Law, was saved by faith through grace. Salvation was always through faith, OT or NT.

    • @LegalVideoMan
      @LegalVideoMan Před měsícem

Abraham was not a Jew. He would have been considered a Hebrew or a descendant of Eber. The Law existed at the foundation of the world. Moses brought us many other Laws that pertained only to the descendants of Jacob or Israel and the forming of the Nation of Israel of old, and the sacrificial law would exist only until the Lamb of God nailed those laws to the cross. These were considered Mosaic laws such as the laws of sacrifice of animals that pointed towards the true Lamb of God. There were many other laws that we have currently employ in our modern western society such as property, family law, etc., which are civil laws and make good sense. The Law of God is eternal. These are the 10 commandments that are not the Law of Moses. There is great confusion about The Law of God and the Law of Moses. Christ didn't give us two new Commandments as so many think, He gave us a beautiful summery of His everlasting Law. Love God and love your Fellow man. This is the summing up of God's Law. Don't commit adultery, don't steal, don't kill. Don't put anything above God, don't take His name in vein. These are beautiful Law's of Love. If you think this is outdated and it is okay to steal and murder than you are greatly misunderstanding Christ's teachings. Until Christ's sacrifice all mankind was under the penalty of breaking the Law. Christ paid the penalty of all of Mankind, not just the Jews. Once this penalty was paid we entered into Grace and that means we are no longer under the penalty of breaking the Law. If Christ did away with the Law then why did He even have to die on the Cross? The sacrificial Laws of Moses were fulfilled by the True Lamb of God. How can not committing murder ever be fulfilled and it is now okay to murder because Christ died on the cross? "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Rev 14:12 Some people must still be keeping God's Law in the end times as they are referred to as Saints by Christ.

  • @jmo900
    @jmo900 Před rokem

To you who believe we should still keep the Law as Christians, please read Acts 15 & Galatians. If your try to keep any of the Law for salvation, you will fall from grace. The Holy Spirit's main job is to glorify Jesus. Adding or taking away from the Gospel, the Holy Spirit's power will be non-existent in a Christian's life. This means the believer will begin to live in the flesh. This means the old man will revive. This may lead lead to apostasy.
