    1 Timothy 1:8-9
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully,
knowing this: that the law is NOT made for a righteous person, but for the LAWLESSNESS and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
    Romans 8:3-4
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be FULFILLED in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
    Galatians 3:19
What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, TILL THE SEED SHOULD COME to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
    Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
    Galatians 3:10-11
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that NO ONE IS JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”
    Galatians 4:21-23
Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise,
    Hebrews 8:6-7
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
    Hebrews 8:13
[13] In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
    Colossians 2:14
having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
    Ephesians 2:15-16
having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, [16] and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
    Romans 5:20
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
    Romans 7:6
[6] But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

Is the Law good? Yes. Is the Law perfect? Yes. Is the Law holy? Yes. Is any man good, perfect or holy according to the bible? No. So how can imperfect, unholy man keep a perfect, holy law? Furthermore the Law has no power to make you just, righteous good or holy. It can only dictate what needs to be done. That's why Jesus came to establish what we could not. Romans says we have been released from the law so we can serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not the old way of the letter. Galatians says if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing. And also you who attempt to be justified by the law have fallen from grace. We can only be saved by grace through faith, not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works. The Law is performance (works) based. Grace is faith based. Only by faith in Christ can we receive grace and righteousness and be empowered by the Spirit of God to produce the fruit of the Spirit which is pleasing to God.

A rolling stone and a flowing river gathers no moss, and the amount of evaporation in a flowing river is a lot less than for a lake and for a pond. But of the fresh water sources, the lakes and ponds remain fresh only when they are periodically and seasonally stirred, replenished and renewed by the rains. Activity signals and spells life, inactivity signals and spells death. Anything that stagnates dies. So when an angel stirs up a pool of water, in a sense it is cleansing both the water as well as healing the people. As to whether only one person who was the first to make it was healed or a million is beside the point. But the stirring of the soul is as much a reality as the stirring of the waters. All of our lives is always an eventful one, and soul stirring events and incidents joyful and sorrowful always occur throughout our entire lives, due to the choices and the decisions we tend to make. Not that I have led a perfect life, or even a godly one but I do not in the least bit regret the life I have led. I may not have made a difference to this world one way or the other and I may not have made much money, but I am certainly richer and wiser for my experience. How could anyone possibly put a price on or equate their own life to money. We all would like to lead perfect lives but no one is born all wise right from the womb. No one gets to do everything perfectly right the first time, allowing for beginners luck. But although I am not a christian and do not want to be one EVER but when I fall short of the mark, I will nevertheless be pleased to apply the blood of the lamb on myself and choose to move on. But neither does that mean, we do not learn from our past, not just our past failures but also our past successes, and try to do better. Neither do we beat ourselves up for missing the mark and for violating the law, nor do we beat other people up for their alleged violations of the law, for their transgressions and their trespasses.

If he said he came to abolish the law, which law will he now fulfil? He came to fulfil the demands of the law which no one before or after him was able to fulfil, and then establish the law of love which is the whole demand of God from man and gave us the ability(grace)to do that. The bible says "a will does not come into effect until the death of the testator" . Jesus came to establish a new will that came into effect after his resurrection.

The whole purpose of the NEW COVENANT is for God to fulfill the Righteousness of the Law "IN US", because it is IMPOSSIBLE for "sinful" man to obey it being SEPARATED FROM HIM. The LAW is not "done away with" in the New Covenant, "SIN" is done away with by the Sinless Blood of Jesus, which allows the SPIRIT to come in and FULFILL THE WORDS OF GOD "IN US".
Only God can FULFILL THE WORDS HE HAS SPOKEN.
"Man" CANNOT FULFILL THE WORDS GOD HAS SPOKEN.
The 10 Commandments were PROPHETIC, "thou SHALT NOT.." (future tense), which spoke of the New Covenant when God would do the work to ABOLISH SIN in order for us to be "reconciled" to Himself and so that the SPIRIT OF GOD could dwell on the INSIDE OF US & fulfill the LAW OR the 10 Commandments (Love God with all your heart & Love your neighbor as yourself), "IN US".
    (Ezekiel 36:26,27) (Romans 8:3,4) (Galatians 5:5) (Philippians 2:13)

I believe the concept being driven here is that in spite of us being in the era of grace, the law should not be abolished because the grounds by which Jesus was declaring that the law be fulfilled or must be enforced was on the grounds that the kingdom of Heaven has brought the ministry of grace if I should call it that to enable us now fulfil the law effectively not ignoring or abolishing the law.

Hey brother Jesus is talking about the new covenant. The New law is the Holy Spirit. Jesus fulfilled the law and gave everyone not just the Jews a chance at everlasting life by faith through the holy spirit which is also God! ““The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord. “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭31‬-‭33‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Jesus came to show us that we have a heart problem not a law keeping problem. Even dr Myles said they had a spiritual problem a heart problem. Why would God give us the new covenant the Holy Spirit which is also God who created everything including the law just for us to follow the old covenant law that couldn’t save us and no one could keep it but Jesus( God him self) read Galatians and Ephesians ch 2 it’s clear. Remember before he left he gave us 2 commandments above all others. The 10 commandments have wised don’t get me wrong but we are saved by grace through faith which makes us right with God! But how does our righteousness surpas that of the Pharisees ? The Pharisees had self righteousness didn't they ? Also many scholars believe Jesus was not talking about the O.T laws but more the Laws that Jesus would Bring forth in his mountain sermon. These laws are.much harder to keep. Basically impossible without the Holy Spirit and without the gift of righteousness. I see this as him ( Jesus ) saying that the Pharisees only keep the Old testament laws but for the new testament there is a higher standard because through god we can live holy with his power...

Look at Luke 18:9-14. I believe that is how our righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees. They were proud and pretentious, yet God listened to the prayer of the penitent man. So how does our righteousness surpass that of the Pharisees? We humble ourselves before God in repentance and ask for His mercy and grace. That's how.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Law is only good if you practice it in life, as many cultures in the world do similar to the 10 commandments. The bottom line is if practice the righteousness of God as outlined in Gal 5:22 then logically you must comply with the 10 commandments, not under the old testament context where they come with penalties for breaking them. But with grace through faith in Jesus Christ we can try our utmost to comply with the law, but if we break one law then we have the moral responsibility to face God and confess our failures, sins etc. But don't sin the same sin again, for Christ sake!
You cannot keep the law to go to heaven, you keep it the context of grace to make it to heaven.

The apostles lived under the Law of Moses, and we do not. They are Jews; we are Gentiles, and Gentiles DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW OF MOSES!
In addition, the 12 apostles died a martyr's death. Mr. Myles died from a horrible accident. And he is saying that the law is still valid to follow? So if he is, then he is wrong, because the Body of Christ is under grace, not law. Israel was under law, and we are not Israel.
To preach the law is to preach "another gospel". The apostle Paul didn't preach the law. He preached the Gospel of the Grace of God... to the Gentiles. And Paul did NOT preach that grace was to enable you to follow the law! Again, this is heresy.

@powrofgrace - It seems that you do not have a very balanced understanding of Law & Grace. The only "Law" that God is concerned about people obeying is the 10 Commandments OR "Loving God with all your heart & Loving your neighbor as yourself", WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO WITHOUT GOD LIVING ON THE INSIDE OF YOU FULFILLING IT "IN YOU".
Paul rightly taught that it is the SPIRIT who "fulfills" the Law IN US, which is what the New Covenant is.
      (Ezekiel 36:26,27) (Romans 8:4) (Galatians 5:5) (Philippians 1:6; 2:13)
God said in Deuteronomy 5:22 that He ADDED NO MORE to the 10 Co0mmandments.
All the other "Laws" like RITUAL LAWS, FOOD LAWS, and the 613 other Laws were ADDED by God BECAUSE OF the DISOBEDIENCE to the 10 Commandments.
Which reveals that had the 10 Commandments been obeyed, NONE OF THE OTHER LAWS WOULD HAVE BEEN ADDED.

Paul also addresses the ten commandments:
      2 Corinthians 3:7
Now if the ministry of death, which was engraved in letters on stone.....will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry of righteousness! 10Indeed, what was once glorious has no glory now in comparison to the glory that surpasses it. 11For if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which endures! .
Only the ten commandments were engraved on stone - and he calls that the ministry of death and condemnation. Ceremonial law was never engraved on stone, but parchment. He then goes onto to say, that the ministry of righteousness, surpasses the ministry of death.
      Also in Romans 7
4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[a] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
Which law did we die to through Christ? What was the old way of the written code?
7:7 For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” This is the 9th commandment.
But it isn't that we have no law...we have the law of Christ, and Paul often talks about how since we are in Christ and new creations, that our behaviour will match our new identity, so there is plenty of guidance on what and what not to do in the new testament.

People dont understand theres 2 sets of laws. Those permanent etched in stone placed inside the arc and mercy seat and those temporary placed outside the arc on the right.. the easy 10 and 613 impossible daily scarifuce cleanse laws feast and festivities. Laws that had to be done and lived by. Burnt offerings and animal sacrifice done through priest in the holy of holies for the jews salvation and atonement of sin.. god so loved the world he gave his son. The sacrifice that did away with the laws contrary to man. Christ tore the vail no longer needing priests no more seperation to god. No longer is there jew or gentile rich or poor free or slave. Christ gave us direct access to god .. christ didnt pay for our sin and judgement... judgement is on resurrection day.. some to life some to condemnation. .and we will be judged for every idol thought it says... christ said if we even lust after a married woman in your mind youve committed ADULTERY already.....christ taught we must obey the commandments.. amongst many other commands. The churches lie and say we are saved by belief.. but scripture says a different story.. faith is dead without works.. show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works
. He said dont judge.. forgive so our father may forgive us also.. repent..repent means to feel guilty for our sins and to sin no more.. it says the path that lead to life is narrow and few make it. It says it will be far worse on that day for those who knew god but did not obey than for those who didnt know god. Christ said do not think i came to abolish the laws of moses and the prophets i have not i came to fullfill. .and he fullfilled the sacrifice laws. Christ tells christians to depart from him in revelations. . Those who thought by belief they were saved. But it says even satan knows christ...is he saved? No..god protects 1 group of people in revelations also it says. God tells his angels do not harm anything or anyone on earth until I have marked the foreheads of my SERVANTS those who OBEYED MY COMMANDS AND KEPT THE FAITH IN CHRIST.. when a man asked christ of a good deed he can do to obtain life . Christ tells the man obey the commandments. The man replied but i obey those already.. christ said if you want to be perfect then sell your stuff and give it to the poor and follow me you will have treasure in heaven.. the theme has never changed. Its always been about obedience.. to think god gave his son so we can live in sin and be forgiven by believing god is real? Lol.. Even christ talked of one day god recieving the true worship he deserves and requires. Churches having people convinced they are being filled with the holy spirit but dont obey the commandments. And christs simple teaching. Churches filling everyone with happy stories of god multiplying our harvests and blessings pooring in.. that we are being healed etc etc. Christ said he comes with our rewards according to our deeds. To be happy with what you have ..and if you have alot give it to the poor.. we have millions of sick suffering dying christians all over the world.. the churches will tell us the strength of your faith dictates the strength in. Blessings like its a mind over matter thing. But scripture says everything god had left to say to us was done through christ. Everything we need to know about our salvation is written. And christ comes with our promises. Otherwise every christian in the world would be free from poverty sickness etc. Everyone in the world would be a christian if god was a genie. But imagine if churches told us the truth .. your inheritance and healing is in the next life. And give ur stuff to the poor. Lol

It does not, actually. Grace helps you to live righteously and honour God.
When you read through Paul's letters, which are after the cross, the admonitions he gave were to actually keep the moral law, which is what he is referring to. Love the Lord God with all your heart, honour your parents, don't commit sexual immorality, do not covet, do not be an idolator, don't slander others, don't be dishonest in your dealings, love your neighbour as yourself, do not be self-serving. He mentions some of these things, along with Peter, James and John in the epistles.
The ceremonial law may have been fulfilled, but the moral law, the commandments that Jesus gave, still stands. They were followed by the early church in the Acts, and the epistles and there is no honest indication given in the text that we can just ignore them.

And so is clearly that calling yourself AS SINNER you cannot see yourself as being UNDER grace.
All these verses make totally clearly that you can be UNDER AGRACE only so long time you will NOT let the SIN to have domination over you, because SINNING you put yourself UNDER the law of sin.

No he was wrong about this whole law and grace lest we take out the ritual laws as he says , but according to which scriptures.
The fulfillment of the law was done by the Messiah Himself.
And don't quote fulfillment out of context.
Fulfillment means , he does away with the law as for us not to follow them according to our capability. If we still follow the law , James then was wrong when he says , if you wanna follow the law , you are cut from Grace and you should then follow the whole book of law. Should you brk even one , you have transgressed of all of them.
Even Paul himself was clear with the law not being in effect anymore.
Hebrews even makes it much clearer,
If the old covenant, which is the law had accomplished the purpose of human salvation , what was the reason for the new covenant, which is Grace.
Jesus is the new covenant, and on the cross He says it's finished , meaning all is done in Him , and if we live in Him , and Him in us, then should we produce the fruits of the spirit who is the seal of God thereby , which are called the moral laws.
Which James talk about as he says , faith without works is dead.
And the works done are as a result of faith, as Hebrews 11 states with all the heros of faith. With their faith did they do all the mighty things God asked them to do.

But we can't keep that law today, and our righteousness as non-Jews isn't based on works soo...I also am not too sure about this vid.

@@KisioneTaulani No, it does not mean that; but then, the apostles lived under the Law of Moses, and we do not. They are Jews; most of us are Gentiles, and Gentiles DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW OF MOSES!

Indeed. Here this false prophet is saying the Greek for fulfill means Jesus came to make sure we keep it. But the Greek word, pléroó, means Jesus cam to fulfill it. Only in Christ can we fulfill what we couldn't in the flesh. Poor Miles is long gone but thankfully no one else will be misled.

Good luck with earning your way into heaven fam. Spoiler alert the entire book of Galations might(actually will) stop you in your tracks. To rephrase it, read the book of Galations and watch this video again. NB: Only the ten commandments were written in stone, so the Book of Galatians is not talking about ceremonial law exclusively ,it's the entire law@@djaehudson2041

@@4justicemelchizedek474 I just watched Zane Hodges so he has a point Jesus is preaching of the millennium kingdom and his rule I took from the presentation of Zane Hodges in the millennium kingdom Jesus is going to rule with a scepter of justice with unbelievable strictness yes you are correct we cannot work our way in to heaven we are only saved by faith and grace through Jesus Christ but in the millennium kingdom we are going to be put back under the law so we can have eternal life I could be wrong but I think it’s like a buffering period because the battle of Mogg and I forget the other name where Satan comes and deceives the nations so yes we are justified by faith but in the millennium kingdom the law is going to be strictly enforced.

Terrible teaching, used to think he was a good teacher but I'm shocked. No wonder he was able to amass so much wealth hear on earth in the name of God. This is either lazy of him or he's just being deceitful.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Galatians 6:1
Now the word "fault" can mean trespass, sin, wrongdoing or transgression. However, notice how only the brethren or sister who is spiritual is able to restore another brethren or sister who are spiritual. For the word teaches also how to restore one another in the spirit of meekness. Jesus Christ Himself says:
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls". Matthew 11:29
A good example of restoring another brother is when Abram and Lot had strife between each other and Abram remedied the situation with the spirit of meekness. Genesis 13:8-9 says:
So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.”
Notice how Abram called lot brethren because Abram was Lots uncle which made them a natural family. However, Abram did not approach Lot as a natural family member but a spiritual family member which is why Abram called Lot his own nephew "brethren" because Lot believed in God creator of heaven and earth also the same as Abram. However, Lot also allowed his flesh to get in the way. Romans 13:13-14 says:
Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
So you see, strife is of the flesh and Abram restored Lot in the spirit of meekness considering himself lest he be tempted not to restore in the spirit of meekness but in the spirit of strife. Although Abram and Lot were naturally family members, Abram approached Lot as to a spi
ritual family member understanding that the only way to win Lot was by the spirit of God instead of the spirit of strife which is of the flesh. In other words, whenever you try to restore a spiritual family member, do not use your own words but use the word of God in the spirit of meekness not strife because strife separates people which is what happened between Abram and Lot.
What am I trying to say? That God is and will make the difference between the flesh and the Spirit and God is going to even bring it all the way home to your doorstep among your natural family members where the difference will be made between clean and unclean, holy and unholy, darkness and light, flesh and Spirit. This is the word for today.
