In this video we pick up another vehicle. I thought I had the 54 Chevy sold but it is looking like that isn't going to go through. Kohen and I both have been wanting another Manual transmission car at the house and after buying the trans am parts car we got the itch to buy a 6 speed. I thought having a convertible would be fun in the summer months for the whole family. This 2000 Camaro SS Convertible has everything done to it already. It has PRC Heads, Cam, Headers and a RST Clutch. The only thing I would like for it to have performance wise is 4.10 gears. That would make it a blast to drive. I do have a few small plans for it that we will get to as it sets in the shop and when we aren't driving it. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

Sharp looking SS with the color combo... Going to look sweet lowered with a nice set of 17" rims.. looking forward to seeing you remove your Ws6 rear end to wire wheel it and prep for some por 15 black paint with a nice TA girdle before installing the umi rear sway bar...

You've def got a "sweet tooth" for the 4th gen F-body; and there isn't anything wrong with that! This SS is in great shape and has many of the mods you would of done, and it's good to go out of the box! A six speed convertible is the ticket! Perhaps you can find a V6 Firebird Convertible to use that drivetrain from the Pewter TA on! Glad you're gonna take it even further with a rear end swap. Would recommend 3.73 instead of 4.11. I had a 4.11 in a 66 Chevelle back in the day, top end speed suffered.....but you def will get up to highway cruising speed much quicker. Every Honda within 50 miles will be riding your butt asking to have theirs handed to them. lol.
The 4.10 is great in a 6 speed car
@@TWAMotorsports I'm willing to take your word for it! Can you include a "row through the gears" once you get the project finished? I still have the stock 10 bolt, 3.42 in my 2000 Formula WS6. I've always wanted to upgrade to a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. You may make the case for a 4.10!
In an auto a 3.73 is pretty good

Nice find...i had a red z28 6 speed convertible years ago that had the y3f appearance package (the rs body kit as some would say). I added a ss hood and spoiler and chrome c6 wheels as well as heads and cam unfortunately i wrecked it back in 09 and now have a white ttop ss. Well anyway i agree with you on the black wheels for the most part they are a bit overdone.

Love. Mine isn't a ss or convertible. T top Z28. Red also. And a 2000. Want to make it a little more likeva Z28. Take the headlights out, and paint the headlight area and paint it black. Just like the old Z28s. I got the headlights. Looking for something else. I got stock lights. But not what lm thinking.

I'm taking my red Camaro to stalk height lol ... with long tubes and y pipe it will always scratch speed pumps waiting to see the drivability on 4.10s that would be great content ..as I'm about to switch from 3.73 to 4.10 because of the cam surge on first gear

Ah shoot, here I am again, all this F-body content just flying out of nowhere. I'm more of a hardtop guy but seems like a fun car to get around in for a bit. Haven't driven any convertibles but yeah seems like that little rear window wouldn't be as easy to see out of vs the big nice hatch windows. Also weird seeing a 4th gen "trunk". Often thought about a cheaper Z/28 so I don't have to worry about perfection with my SS but no space lol, wish I had a garage like that
