- ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಬನ್ನೇರುಘಟ್ಟ ಜೈವಿಕ ಉದ್ಯಾನ 731 ಹೆಕ್ಟೇರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪಶುವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 21 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಪಾಲಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಾವಿತ್ರಮ್ಮ, ತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಹುಲಿ, ಚಿರತೆ, ಜಿಂಕೆ, ಕರಡಿ, ಸಿಂಹದ ಮರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
