Personally, I think JHud, LaToya, and Fantasia are the three best singers this competition has ever seen in terms of sheer vocal ability. Each one was different but they all had such power!! What a show this Final 3 would have made! Can you imagine? They would have blown the rafters off that place.
After hearing the ending song I made it through the rain, i fell in love the song and think that it is so great. The women here not only expressed their amazing talent but really brought this son to life.

Fantasia, Jennifer, Latoya and George literally sang circles around the other contestants head almost every night LOL I mean it was RIDICULOUS. Vocally they were on a different level that everyone else. I think diana, Leah and Jasmine all had cute voices but when it came down to "showing up and showing out" infront of the crowd..it was no comparison who the top singers were that season. What a shame we did not get to see the Diva's to the end. All three ladies are very talented. Jennifer was my favorite but she proved talent can win in the end. Very talented group that season.

My favorite year ever. Fantasia's win was the most powerful AI win ever!! Problem with the finals is that when the public votes, they split votes. Fantasia, LaToya and Hudson (diva powerhouses) each claim a similar voting base (powerhouse divas) and Diana DeGarmo attracts AI's watching base (midwest/country fans) and hence, we never get to see Kelly v. Tamyra, Latoya v. Fantasia, or any of the finals we should. Sad, but true.

Jennifer hudson should have won this season. I will say, her voice has matured and she has gained control over it since her American Idol experience. She is definitely the most successful from this season. Just to prove it even more, she made the top 7 and George Huff (made top 5) is now her back up singer!!.. haha Go J-Hud!!!
The only reason that I watch half of the season was because of Jhennifer, for some reason she remind me of a teacher I had in Puerto Rico, plus I loved her voice.! I'm so happy to know God blessed her the way He did.! Still can believe she dind't won the show, I dind't like Fantasia that much..but I guess everything ended up for the best.! God Bless

Lol the beginning was pretty cheesy,but I still loved it.Jennifer,Latoya and Fantasia saved this performance from being bad.Still these season is one of the best!
Best season ever, in my opinion. Season 2 is a close second. Followed by season 5. The rest of the seasons I didn't care too much for one way or the other, though Carrie Underwood is probably the best contestant to ever win on the show.

The others were cute and average singers, but those four were killin it on the stage! The competition honestly to me were out of those four. The only person I saw that might could have hung with them were Leah Labelle, but she was young and wasn't quite polished like the rest of them, but she could sing!
