KAT had 19/7/4 and barely played the 2nd half because Ant went nuclear and Finch didnt want to change anything from there. KD cannot gaurd KAT in the post. With Nurkic matched up with Gobert for this series, its up to KAT to take advantage of this mismatch. I thought he did a great job game 1

@@deejones9833 No one can gaurd KD. He's one of the greatest NBA scorers ever. However I don't think KD is used to being gaurded by 7 footers. It seemed like KAT and Gobert were the main people on KD this game. It's not like KD has much quickness or explosiveness to his game. He simply rises up and shoots over people. I thought KAT did just about as good as you can do to gaurd KD. If KD wants to score by constantly shooting fade away middys. Timberwolves are probably okay with that. They kept the rest of the Suns roster in check. KD seemed to be the only one who looked normal out there. And even so KD had 5 turnovers and was a team worst +/- -20.
@@nathanaelgion2762 F*** the analytics he scored 31 went 11/17 period with no help from anyone else on offense assist and ghost assist are included in that +/- but if he give the ball up and nobody else is scoring wtf can he do? he still carried them and they let him down. They're terrible when it comes to defense I'll give you that it's always a mixmatch no matter what

And i said b4 the playoffs started, if they start out strong, they'll beat the Suns easily because the Suns have a matchup problem down the stretch. I agree with Charles of DreamersPro about Skip. Unless Skip has an IQ lower than his shoe size, I don’t believe he thinks Lakers were ever beating the Nuggets. It is a trap. He wants to create these high expectations on the Lakers so when they fail, he can mock LeBron all summer.
What 7th seed has ever had expectations that these current Lakers have? If the 7th seed were my Clippers or any other team not named the Lakers, there would be no expectations. But Skip is creating this ditch for LeBron to fall into. Skip calls AD Always Disappointing. Now he’s backing him up? It’s a trap.
I personally enjoy it when the media keeps gassing up the Lakers whether they’re 10th, 7th, or wherever. Because the more media talks about the Lakers daily, the higher expectations and the bigger disappointment when they do fail which they’ll often do since it’s impossible to win every single year.
Lakers have lost 9 straight to Denver. Can’t these LeBron jocksniffers take a hint? A 7th seed trying to dethrone the reigning champs? But Skip has been picking Lakers over Celtics since preseason. Once the Lakers fail and they will, Skip will keep trashing LeBron. He’s creating a path to trash LeBron by overselling these LA frauds. Even MJ didn’t have the high expectations at age 39 and nobody cared if he failed to make the playoffs.
Skip already keeps saying that LeBron has no clutch gene. Then why pick them, Skip? It’s all set up to give Skip free rein to mock LeBron after he fails to win a 5th ring. Eliminate all the potential LeBron excuses. Deep down, Skip doesn’t believe Lakers can beat Denver similar to his delusions with his Cowboys. But those two franchises draws ratings, hence, why Skip talks about them 95% of the time.
