Supernatural fandom season 4: "i want chuck to be god, heck yeah, that'd be so cool,"
Supernatural fandom season 15: "okay i dont want chuck to be god anymore."
Exactly how it might end up
Anybody else thinking S4-5 Chuck was God? Or more to the point, if they hadn't gone another 10seasons of show we would have to still be guessing?
The majority didn't care who god was
The majority just thought Chuck is God
Because chuck sucks
He’s Khaos is what I think.
Everyone must realise that he didn't bring back the archangels or restore Jack's soul because he didn't want his story to go that way. Like in season 15 he easily brought back Lucifer
It was the empty who said God has no power there but that was before God powered up by merging with his sister
The Empty clearly says “sweet little lies” after it tells Sam the statement of “Not even GOD held sway”. It lied.
On top of that God resurrected Castiel so many times before that after Castiel was killed by the Archangels Raphael and Lucifer and at one point even gave Castiel an upgrade before the fall of Angels due to Metatron. So God clearly had power there this whole time. Don’t forget Lilith(First Demon) was brought back from the Empty after being dead for so long and Chuck was weakened by the Equalizer gun. Pretty damn powerful.
Not to mention whether weakened or not, Chuck’s power is so potent that it is preventing the ruler of The Empty itself from reaching Earth which clearly bothers it.
So God never needed to merge with Amara to have power there. Even Billie as new Death teleported Jack in and out of The Empty(something Archangels like Lucifer cannot do) and she was weaker than The Shadow. The Supernatural show clearly indicates if a character is at least somewhat relative or greater than the ruler of the Empty realm, they would have some level of control over that realm which is why even though Billie was no match for The Shadow, her power as Death is sufficient enough to bring back Jack from The Empty even though the Shadow was holding Jack in place all while torturing him.
In season 15 jack get all of church and amara power ,Michael and lucifer also die
@@MrElionor the empty is lying and weak af, even a mid power Jack holds sway over the empty.
@@MrElionor god had power in the empty
Why do I have the feeling this theory is better than anything the spn writers will come up with at the end?
They’ll convince God he should leave them alone, God will disappear again and for the first time ever, everyone will have true free will. The end.
Agreed
They’ve made a lot of questionable story choices but yea I don’t like how they made “god” a villain so I hope there’s some weird ending where dean and Sam are already in heaven or god is gonna show in the end
@M P // The Empty isn't God. It never says it created anything, in fact it says Jack calling for Castiel was the first time he was woken up ever, and that it had been sleeping for all of eternity. If it were God, it would've had to create Amara, Chuck and Death at least.
I agree... Biggest example is GAME OF THRONES LAST SEASON
Pretty good theory it makes a lot of sense, and it’s probably why cas couldn’t find god in season 5
The show already explored that detail. Cas couldn't find God in season 5 because Chuck had the ability to turn Dean's amulet on and off.
@@ryanbarker3978 unless chuck lied
@@phoenixbaldwin5531 He demonstrated it in season 11.
Ryan Barker unless chuck lied
@@ryanbarker3978 Chuck also has a lot of power. Castiel also said that the amulet burns hot when in the presence of god. Dean held it pretty damn well for it to be hot when he noticed Chuck was "god"
If John Winchester is god that explains why Sam and dean can’t die
That'd be a perfect ending
lol smh
"Mother Mary" Omg...
I Just thought about how their Mothers name is Mary.. like
Could Mary Winchester name be more than just a coincidence? or am i stupid..
Could she too be a vessel? If the Theory is correct then the rest of the 3 are?
The thing is, if one of the characters would be revealed as god, that'll make god not all powerfull, or evil. Cause what other reason would he have to not stop the demons/hell hounds/angeles/ other bs from torturing dam and dean?
That's why I like the chuck storyline cause it makes sense
Both died how often????

Final season? Lol much as I enjoy supernatural I think it should have died a long time ago, if this theory is indeed true, this would add more seasons to this show, like at least 2 more
Nitto Hawj17 announced they would never do supernatural again after this season. It seams Dean’s actor that portrays him has found newer avenues and wants to move on don’t really know about the rest though the look in their eye radiates uncertain future
He was lying and he knew Gabriel was alive he just didn't want him bc like he said you can't make an effective warrior by force they have to choice this fight and he was supporting his play by making them think he wasn't watching them and Lucifer would have definitely called him out nice theory tho it would be cool if it turned out this way tho

@@Aeryn4John He's as anatomically impaired as a candle.
My little theory:
I only just finished season 14. I think Chuck isn't God. I think they will never show the real God, that will defeat the idea behind the real power of God if they give him a form. Chuck & Amara are most likely the children of the real God, similar to how Michael & Lucifer fought over power, so did Chuck & Amara. I get the feeling the show ends similar to how it started "Saving people, hunting things". The episode is titled Carry On...so I think they continue to carry on their work as they always do. I do have a feeling the real God might give them John & Mary back (would be a nice thing to see)
Been watching this show since I was in grade 11 in 2005, so lets just hope its an amazing ending whatever it is.
What did you take as a drug? Metatron then Lucifer recognized God. They are not stupid.
It wouldn't make sense.
@@bababamooo906 Well I got 2 answers here:
If Chuck ISN'T God:
He is powerful, 2nd to Amara, so he could very likely just have lied to Metatron, Lucifer, all of the arch angels, Joshua ect. Because he did say himself "I"m a writer and writers lie". So he could be lying to everyone, except Amara. Maybe thats why he locked her away because he didn't want her to expose him as a false God.
If Chuck IS God:
"I"m a writer and writers lie" - that line could very well be the indicative phrase of why he's acting like an asshole. They've already "fought" Amara so that villain is done story wise. God "Chuck" wrote himself as the villain in the story because Sam & Dean have run out of big bad's, the only one who can top all the arch angels ect as bad guys, is God himself. So maybe he's playing the bad guy atm because thats the story he wrote for the boys
I don't believe the writers would be that lazy/bad as to end the show simply on a "Gods an asshole now / defeat him / show ends". It's too formulaic like the old seasons, I think (hope) there's more at play here than that.
@@kitcorp.9665 that's probably how it's unfortunately

Yuck...
you've never read the first half of the bible have you? the christian god that Chuck is based off of is a egotistical madman
@@silverbear9289 You've clearly read the wrong holy bible. Nothing in the bible shows him as an egotistical madman. He never brags about himself being "God", despite him introducing himself to his prophets as the one true God. Unlike how they show thor or any other god, he's nowhere as bad as they are either. You read the bible biasedly didn't you?
(Edit:Spoiler wadning)
I'd like to point out that a similar dynamic shows up at least 2 other times in the show. First Sam Dean and Cas. So Sam and Dean are the main duo but then Cas moves from a backburner side character to a main character and he sorta takes up some of Sammy's in the main duo. Second Michael Lucifer and Gabriel. Michael and Lucifer are like the main archangels and Gabe sorta hangs to the back but then Lucifer is put in the cage so Gabe becomes one of the main 2 but positions aren't assumed yada yada yada Michael is "insane" and Gabe ends up stepping up into that archangel role with the power shift. And finally playing to this theory God Amara and Chuck. God and Amara are the main more powerful 2 and Chuck tends to observe then Amara is locked away shift in power but roles aren't immediately assumed then God becomes the empty and Chuck gains power. It would make sense and be foreshadowed wonderfully if this was done in this way or something similar.
Great points. 3 is always the magic number.

Honestly, I liked Chuck in season 11 so I like Chuck as God, but Chuck from season 11.
And in seasons 14 and 15, to be actually Lucifer who somehow escaped from the empty (yes, I know that's kinda impossible) and gathered so much power that he was able to take on Chuck's appearance and pretend to be him.
And at the end of the season, the real Chuck / God will come and destroy him
Ikk,I'm delusional, but I'd love that🤣🤣
You have no idea how much I hope this theory is true. I don't want God to be the bad guy.
Sharon broome his debut appearance was literally called the monster at the end of the book. I don’t know about you but that’s extreme foreshadowing
If that were true (God being the bad guy I mean), my grandparents would probably not let me watch this show anymore. I am a Christian after all, living in a Christian family. Don't why God WOULD be the bad guy after all, so this theory might be what season 15 will be about.
not gonna lie, getting tired already of this cliche that "oh no, gods actually the bad guy" trope thats been goin on for awhile now, its getting over used at this point in stories tbh.
if any of you had read the bible you would realize god is deff not the good guy lmao.

Crazy idea: *Amara it's the real God.* 🤭
The entity: *Real darkness*
Chuck: *False God and the youngest of the primordial family*
@Manuel Castro your right in everything except one detail. Actually our dear darkness (Amara) can create. I don't remember in what EP was but she say that one of the few reasons Chuck (God) locked her away was because he might get jealous of her creating better things than he's creations. God didn't want he's creation to be garbage (it end up being anyways) so God decided to lock her away forever that way her creation doesn't surpass he's creations. In conclusion Amara can create, but I don't think her creation would be that good like animals and souls because she's darkness. I personally THINK they would have been 10 times more worse than leviathan's. If demons, angels and monsters are afraid of the Amara why shouldn't the leviathan's be? Anyways yes Amara can create, she just doesn't want too. What a lazy entity.
@Manuel Castro No I think she can create because she resurrected Mary 🤔🤔🤔
@Manuel Castro I have my toughs too, but don't forget she is also a primordial entity who can basically do wtv she wants without rules to follow, but she really said in one of the episodes in season 11 that God locked her away because he might get jealous of her creation if it's better than his creation.
@Manuel Castro Already in episode 3 season 11 she is hinting she wants to chape the world in her views! Also She did say what Jose Rodriguez was saying in episode 9 season 11 so look it up urself. Another hint it starts 29:15 minute in that episode! It took me 5 minutes to find all that.
Also everything you said is invalid. You must have the episode for reference where she said or is said she cant create.
xD If you say something like that you should live it urself!
@Manuel CastroI think I hit a nerve, don't worry u will handle this better when you become a adult ;)
Also One True Scotsman fallacy and circular reasoning- “God cannot be a liar so anyone who lies can’t be God which proves God is not a liar”.
This God can lie, and he does.
Yeah even if the bible or other old scripture describe God as a non liar, that could just had been a lie directly inserted by God himself. :)
So, you have some Logical Fallacy there too my friend... God CAN do ANYTHING!!! HE wants to, right? Right. So follow me here, God CAN LIE, the difference is God chooses to be a god worthy of worship, to so do, he MUST let us come to him (freewill and all)...and so he chooses to NOT lie.
@@jeralyoumans3160 The point that many Christian scholars make is that God is omnibenevolent, so he cannot, by definition, do something evil, thus also limiting his omnipotence.

Sam and Dean save the world, again, from "God" or whoever Chuck really us. But while doing so they die. TOGETHER. So neither one is there to live alone without the other. Neither can bring the other back. Screen turns to white....
Dean opens his eyes and he and Sam wake up at Helen's bar. Standing outside of the bar facing them...is Everyone! EVERYONE! Mom, dad, Bobby, Garth, Helen, Jo, Cass, Kevin, Benny, Charlie...EVERYONE! Hell even Crowley! But at the center and at the head of them all is John and Mary. Dean and Sam look in confusion and awe as John walks up to them. He places a hand on both their shoulders, and with tears in his eyes he says,
"WE'RE so proud of you boys..."
They are at peace. In their heaven. As they embrace and reconnect with everyone shot changes to inside the bar. Everyone is having a great time talking, laughing, and really just recalling all hunts the boys have been on and what they've done during their lives. Crowley brings a drink to Sam, while laughing and calling him moose. Garth and Bobby reminisce with John about their time with the boys. Dean watching Lisa and Jo, talking about their time with Dean. Just the most wholesome, beautiful ending for them. But then Sam sees Dean walking out the front. And excuses himself from his conversation with Jess, and follows Dean outside. He sees Dean, who has a look of shock and relief, realizing that his baby (the impala) is there in the front. Sam approaches smiling saying, (ha, no way!) And as Dean stands there in silence, Sam asks if he's alright. And as Dean turns to his brother, Sam sees he has tears in his eyes....the two embrace in tears and sigh the deepest of sighs. Magically there is a cas of beer on the hood of the car. They lean on the hood. As they have many times. Crack open 2 bottles and just talk and shoot the shit. Joking how Bobby looks younger here in heaven. Or what is Dean gonna do with all these women he loves in one heaven. Or how is Crowley here?! This thought makes them laugh the most. And as they just laugh and talk. The camera pulls out and up on them and the bar. Camera fades out.
If you're asking how everyone is there, including people that may have died after them, I'd like to think of it the way LOST ending. Everyones souls waited for everyone else's to die before joining eachother in the afterlife. Because the time spent with them was the most important time of their lives. Sorry for any typos. Doing all this on my phone at 1 in the morning with 3 beers in my belly. So keep your criticisms to yourselves. You bunch of assbutts! ❤
I am starting, sadly, to doubt it but I had a similar theory myself with a major difference. Look at God's behavior prior to season 14. He doesn't directly involve himself in the Apocalypse but he nudges Sam and Dean in the right direction and brings Cas back. Fits pretty well with the idea of God respecting free will he wanted to let Michael and Lucifer work their bs out and to give Sam and Dean a chance to rise to the occasion and save the day. Look at what happens with Amara's return Chuck volunteers himself to die to save his creation, he reaches out to Lucifer and tries to make amends, repair his relationship with his son (not a perfect God but at least one trying to do better). Then the finale of season 14 hit and Chuck/God gets turned into THAT kind of fan the "you changed it now it sucks" guy. It's completely out of character to how he's portrayed in the rest of the show. It's petty, childish and down right neck beardy. What if some time after Amara got bored palling around the universe with her brother the Empty took his place. It DOES seem cruel and petty enough to act that way. Again I don't think its likely but I think it might have made a better story then God being pissed off Sam and Dean broke all his toys.
I think the writers wanted the final season villain to be the ultimate bad. And who is ultimate other than god? Winchester brothers against God. They have fought against everything so why not the final villain be the god?
@@vimukthiediriweera5271 because God can't be judged like a lesser being. Like the darkness, God is an omnipotent primordial entity, without whom existence itself wouldn't be real. Even if were to judge God humanly, he was benevolent up to season 14. They just had to make him the villain, because they ran out of ideas and probably aren't very fond of Christianity.
@@Michael_the_Drunkard This is the show's god we are talking about not the Christian god. According to this story god isn't benevolent or omnipotent. So I think he's the best for a final bad guy. They fought against the most powerful person in their universe and won. That's a good ending.

The "God" that helped them with Amara I think was the real one. But both God and Amara are gone right now. Chuck is actually the empty because he wanted Castiel to suffer and told him he will come for him the moment Castiel was truly happy.
Killing Jack took away whatever happiness Castiel had. But the empty had a child like behavior and it would explain why it got so angry when Sam shot him. Chuck was acting like a kid with a tantrum after getting shot. God never behaved like that but the empty did.

I love this! And it does make sense and the fact that ‘God was never on your side’ was playing during the finale of S14, would make that finale such a foreshadowing scene to an epic conclusion of the series. But well, we have to see what the writers have come up with...
Also Dean's necklace the god detector didn't work on Chuck he "turned it on" when asked about it and "turned it off" after
So, what your saying is it was working because it wasn't coming on, because he isn't God. He made it glow, falsely showing he was God. That's a good theory too.
It just makes this theory more plausible.
He literally made it dumbasses... DON'T YOU THINK THAT HE'D KNOW THE TURN ON AND OFF BUTTON IF HE WANTED?!
This is laughable...
This doesn't prove any theory true... it just makes you dumbasses look like morons... comparing that scene to real life, you ever turned on and off a light in one of your rooms?
Well for course you have... did you make it?
No?
But ya still know how to them on and off?
DON'T YOU THINK THE CREATOR OF THAT LIGHT WOULD TOO???
It was literally said that he didn't want to be found because he was watching them. It'd get annoying to have keep erasing memories, all they said was that it burnt bright in his presence, clearly that was before Sam and dean's time, where chuck wanted to be around the angels and order them around.
It never said that it burnt infinitely and he has no control over it.
@@graysonred470 we get it, you think you are smart, nice for you

Would've preferred to see this theory play out instead of the final season's actual direction
Without the pandemic interfering with production, I wonder if we would've seen a better story.
They should scrap season 15 and start over after covid. It was good but I don't like the idea of God's power being taken. But then again, he's a mastermind, and can see/hear all. Maybe this is another one if his games. Maybe he stored power somewhere lol. I think they'll continue the show
@@micahhagler8720 They showed Sam dying of old age... How could the even continue the show. It's finish, deal with it.
You are great at creating stories whether this will be accurate or not, it does make sense... This was cool!
Chuck said that he couldn’t fix Jacks soul because he wanted Dean to kill him, it was supposed to be his perfect ending. Why would he just snap his fingers and fix it, it’d bore him.
True but if he's not God then that means he really can't restore Jack's soul. Because he didn't create them, God did. So even if he wanted to fix it, he didn't have the power to do that despite feeding off of God's power. Fixing a soul is something that God would have to do directly and personally.
@@struggleskywalker1025 That makes sense.
@@thefourthcrusader2117 I would really appreciate if God turned out to be Dean. That would be hilarious and fitting seeing as how he was the one most against the idea of God only to find out that he was the big guy all along.
@@struggleskywalker1025 that wouldn't make any sense tho
@@sokkathegreat7599 actually it would since there a lot of parallels between Dean and Biblical God. What if that's how Chuck trapped him? He trapped God's essence in a human vessel and his memories in the Empty. Plus we have yet to see Jesus on the show and Jesus represents God made flesh and Son of God. Also back in season 12 when the brothers were taking on the BMoL and Mary was under hypnosis and mind control, Dean tried to snap her out of it but only succeeded once he expressed his true emotions. That he loved her but also hated her for making the deal that led to them becoming hunters and for making him half to be a parent and a sibling. And God is the Father of all things and the brother of Amara and Chuck. Dean would do anything for his family like selling his soul to a demon at a CROSSroads. God would do anything for his family like dying on the cross. And most everyone knows that when Jesus died he went to Hell to grab the keys to Hell and locked Hell's gate SEALED them shut. The parallel to this is Dean going to Hell and breaking the First Seal which UNLOCKED Hell's gate. ‘And as the RIGHTEOUS man breaks, so too shall it break.’ Dean, despite his worldly lifestyle, has been called a righteous man, because of his key values. Also God is the Creator of Free Will, Dean literally calls himself, Sam and Cass Team Free Will. And if that isn't enough proof both their mothers names were Mary.
One thing about this third sibling theory is that it is consistent with the show. Lucifer-Michael-Gabriel are the most prominent Arch’s. There are three Winchester siblings. Now this theory.

I was late to the SPN family- (a covid binger!) but I have to say, i REALLY loved your theory of the holy trinity, and Chuck NOT actually being God! What clever thinking!
I like to think the empty is secretly amara and chuck’s father, but they overthrew him together, similar to the titans overthrowing Kronos, but seeing as it would be their first memory they either forgot or chuck just didn’t want anyone to think that’s what happened
I have a theory about who Chuck might be: "I think Chuck is the Demiurge". The creator of the material world. The god-like being that was jealous of god and wanted to be god himself. =)

Same, this is the finale I didn't know I needed
I mean yeah...But it could also just be that he is God but with bad writing.
Exactly
That whole ending was garbage and I have a feeling season 15 will be just as awful.
Lol, ikr.
Chuck is god in the finale. The only reason the death incarnate billie would intervene is if the beings involved with disorder are close to her level of power like jack and lucifer or exceed her power.
I have my own idea of how I would have handled this which would have made it more logical as to where God actually is and a true redemption rather than them shitting in the concept of God.
God was a entity during creation and maker of the universe for billions of years.
He got to a point where he needed and wanted a break.
So he created Amara and Chuck
He poured all of his darkness into a Mara and all of his light into Chuck.
He charged them with carrying on his work and maintaining balance between light and dark, as he rested in the only place he could go the empty.
Amara and Chuck decided not to awaken him growing accustomed to their power, and knowing he would just absorb them once awoken.
Amara the darkness was more the destruction vs Chuck the light and more the Creative. Amara bored and wanted to awaken God. Chuck did not this is why he banished the darkness, leading us to the point where we were in that session.
Chuck did not create the Angels which is why he's so easily abandon them.
Lucifer will have been cast down for either a lesser reason or only for a certain amount of punishment that was meant to end, and was unaware that Chuck is not God as once he banish the darkness he altered everyone's memory to make them think he was the original God.
This is what will lead Lucifer and other beings that were villains in the past to team up with Sam and Dean to take down Chuck including Amara and Death.
And in the end Amara and Chuck will be reabsorbed by The being in the empty who will then returned as the one true God.
The show will that end with Dean and Sam getting anyone wish they want.
They will wish for a world without monsters where they could have normal lives.
This would put a definite ending to the series, without rendering everything they did obsolete.
Also returning God to being who God is rather than making a mockery of what most believe angels and God to be.
I am not saying this is what will happen, but rather what I would do.
It would be a fitting ending for everyone came out strong.
Nah, its just you "true believers" that can't handle the fact that your God is a selfish sonuvabitch who always enforced the "You are either with me, or against me" mindset.
Good point taken but I think chuck is exactly what he says he is. It makes sense because Sam and Dean fought all kinds of entities and other gods using free will so chuck is the ultimate entity to fight for a last season.
Man, if this really happens, you might get prosecuted by the CW for stealing the entire script! Haha I found it amazing, it really makes a lot of sense!!!
Theory is easy to debunk. The amulet Dean had was said to shine in the presence of god. It shines when chuck reveals himself. Done.

I mean, I swear I've said the exact same thing about other theories and then it went in an entirely different direction.
Honestly I think this whole theory is pretty stupid, seriously? Chuck put a memory wipe spell on "God" and made him think he's the empty, that's moronic at best. If there really is a "one true God" he would be a being of infinite power, no?
Maaa i think at the end it will happen that sam and dean become light and darkness and replace chuck and amara through some kind weird way.. if they‘re ending the show after 15 seasons, they might go out with the biggest of bangs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@corriethomson4431 yes but if his siblings are also of equal infinite power and Chuck tricked god and is now channeling his and all the angels energies he could trap Amara too
I've seen all the seasons and the real good was beyond story all along ... You're right. Chuck is truly not omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent...
Love the theories! Can't wait!
Since Chuck undid everything, meaning Death is back, and Death has claimed he could kill God....hmm
John Mercer Death is still Billie based on the finale. From what we’ve seen death is an aspect, not tied to an individual form, he’s always been there, when one body goes down the aspect and power moves to another. It also seems from the preview that God simply released every soul in hell, not that he undid what was done prior. Everything still happened, they’ve just been returned. It’s also possible, likely even, that at least some of the monsters from purgatory have returned as well.
Pretty sure it's The Nothing that is going to be the protagonist.
@@littilwood antagonist
Yes, billie was death but
If The accually Death îs bringing back, he replace billie, right?
Nah Death ONLY said "one day he would reap God"
Dude, if this is true I would be reaalllly happy! I've had a problem with the "God/Chuck" character since he was revealed.
Me too. Chuck as god didnt completely make sense. It ALMOST mad sense because the other prophets didnt have the future available to them and it did seem like Chuck was writing destiny. BUT it still did not jive with me because the fates actaully exist.
This theory is so much better than what we got.,
I really hope this is true!!! It would be amazing if Chuck was actually Lucifer, and Jack brings back the real God!! Love your theory brother!!!!
How about Jack ( Jesus like)was brought into this world to save mankind by the real God ,and Chuck wants to kill him. For the reasons you stated in the video.
Richard Hampton I like that. But.....through Lucifer?!
Franklynne Cassell maybe it was God who planted his seed in her, not Lucifer, but since Lucifer was the one who did the deed with her he thought it was his child? That’s why Jack is kind and innocent, and NOTHING like Luciferp
It's more likely to he this. God wants to die, because he's been around for so long, but can't end himself. So, he portrayed himself as the bad guy to give Sam & Dean the drive to kill him so he could move on. And his goal all along was to give the throne to Jack. He knew that Jack would be woken by Death and The Darkness.
Derek Geriets Huh. Makes sense too. I can’t wait to see what happens!
This could be the case if they take a hard gnostic turn
That is the best theory I’ve heard so far. Damn

Bruh I figured it out the second gabriel came back I was like aight chuck who tf r u
Unfortunately I think the inconsistencies are simply bad writing or at least near sighted. I'd love for this to be a really complex, well designed story but just haven't seen it yet. Chuck talking about being a liar I think is just the writers breaking the fourth wall. Chuck is an analogy of the real writers. They can lie, make things up, twist things around because to the story, they are God.
A big premise was that God was missing from heaven/ the universe for the first few seasons till we git introduced to Chuck God. If this theory holds out, it would be epic to finally see actual God return to the universe at the end of S15
I recommend everyone read a little bit about Gnosticism. I think that Chuck is actually Saklas, pretty much exactly as described by the Apocryphon of John or the Gospel of Judas. Chuck is the Demiurge. I think that the Empty may possibly be the real god, named Barbelo. Supernatural has already based some of its lore off of Gnostic beliefs, so I don’t think it’s far-fetched to say that they have borrowed a little bit more.
I think you may be right....to a point. I think the real God was the one that left with Amara but the one that showed up in season 14 was a fake. Perhaps the empty entity itself swapped places with God.
Yea. Wasnt the entity wanting to escape?
But we saw the entity soon after chuck killed jack standing alongside Billie
That’s exactly what I thought at the end of season 14 but who knows
@@zaneviper I mean the empty didn't want castiel to be happy he himself did say just when things were going right was when he was going to strike I am not saying nb this theory is true but I am saying if the empty really wanted too it could easily appear to make the chuck the shadow

Sadly I don't think it will happen but that would be a fun twist
Chuck: Resurecting Gabriel would be complicated and takes too much time
God several seasons earlyer: ~resurects Castiel 2 minutes after he was blasted by Lucifer
Wasn't gabe never dead
Also Gabriel is an archangel apparently made of something primordial so harder to resurrect then a low class angel but that's according to God so who knows
Actually Chuck explained that Archangels are made of different energy, rather than average angels.
Simple angel =/= ARCHANGEL
castiel got res and improved so no longer just a normal angel
I was thinking that he’s either Demiurge or Yaldabaoth “The God of Control”. The Demiurge was created by Sophia who in this case is actually Amara’s real name. In Gnosticism, Sophia is an Aeon. In most if not all versions of the Gnostic creation, Sophia births the Demiurge, who in turn brings about the creation of materiality. However, when the Demiurge creates mortal humans she grants them souls and grants them the secret knowledge of the true spiritual universe so they can be freed of the Demiurge's influence.
The positive or negative depiction of materiality thus resides a great deal on mythic depictions of Sophia's actions. She is occasionally referred to by the Hebrew equivalent of Achamoth.
But in the “Supernatural” version I think it went something like this. Amara, God and Death were beings that already exist before the Demiurge, but at some point in time Amara with God’s help created the Demiurge(Yaldabaoth) aka Chuck. But later down the line God created the Archangels on his own. After Chuck saw how beautiful the Archangels looked especially Lucifer, Chuck probably tried making his own creations which were the Leviathans but God saw how dangerous they were, so both Amara and God banished them to Purgatory. Chuck grew some type of jealousy towards God because his own creations weren’t good enough compared to God, and started to hate both Amara and God. So Chuck somehow sealed God like how Amara was sealed and somehow absorbed God’s power and image so that the Archangels would believe that he is God. Maybe Chuck has a similar mark like the “Mark of Cain” on him but instead it’s a Mark that has God sealed inside. Anyways now Chuck impersonating God still holds a grudge towards Amara so he orders the Archangels to help him seal Amara, but he couldn’t absorb her power because she is too strong for that so sealing her away inside the Mark was the only way. Amara assumed that God himself was behind her sealing and started to be filled with great rage and anger which began to corrupt her and the Mark. Chuck while impersonating God probably told Amara that he killed Demiurge before sealing her away which fueled her hatred even more. Chuck probably started to feel the corruption right away so he pasted the Mark to Lucifer because he probably still felt some type of envy towards God’s creations especially God’s favorite Angel. Chuck probably also during some time started to mess with Amara’s mind so she would forget about the Demiurge aka himself. Eventually Chuck created Mankind which he consider his greatest creation. The sealed God probably had some type of influence on Chuck during the creation and somehow created the human soul and placed it within Chuck’s new creation which granted mankind freewill. And the rest is history.

Ahh yes, the original propaganda. ;)
well in gnosticism "the one" actually is just created "aeon" part of "the first generation" that the Creator made.

Isaiah 41:4
4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.
generation and aeon are synonyms
"aeons" are also described as "generations"
