“Bird belly” is an amazing concept. She realizes that eating chicken means she has bird in her belly.
exactly my thoughts! she's really impressive
Is your house chilly ? Why do you always wear a knit cap ?
@@suziebattista6394 She lives in the Pacific Northwest, like me. It is chilly ALWAYS and EVERYWHERE. Even indoors.
Is it bad that I think this is adorable, and just a little bit terrifying? 😅
I'm imagining she can probably tell by the smell, which is just amazing!
Bunny tried to kick the cat out the family and she tried to send you to bed I guess she thinks she's the boss
RIP cat : ]
Or maybe simply she knows she has enough voice to sound an idea :)
Don't they always.
My dog nags me into going to bed regularly… I’ve never had such a regular bedtime!
My dog grumbles if I stay up too late with the light on. I really want to start him using buttons. He would have a lot to say!
Of all the animals I see using buttons, Bunny is by far the most advanced.
Russell the cat is getting pretty close!!! He can use and understands ‘help’ for novel problems (one’s without a button that is)
Yes. Bunny is a doggie genius! And reincarnation is real. Einstein is now a Sheepadoodle!
@@Somedude20282 Russell and Billi are not far behind, but I don't think they can catch Bunny.
And yet, still useless
Really? I'm not sure hes doing anything but pressing random buttons because it makes mom happy. She needs to do a lot of translating.
Maybe she can tell by smell that chicken is a bird even if it's already dead...? That ability to generalize (that thing in the sky is a bird, and that thing in the oven is also a bird) is really incredible if that's actually what's happening.
Alexis said on Instagram that they are passing live chickens very often.
So, there is an additional data point that can help Bunny to figure out the connection.
They say dogs have an incredible sense of smell but that would just be amazing! it does make sense.
If
The sense smell is a powerful connection. It's why dogs on farms don't get fed mutton/lamb. Because they will get a taste for sheep.
Otter is truly good and small.
Not for long!
Sounds like she wanted Uni back and Ringo gone, haha! She loved that cat!
What happened to Uni?
@@elenachristian9860 He went missing some time ago.
@@isoldam it breaks my heart how much she talks about missing uni
3:25 that *bird belly • belly bird • belly dog* followed by licking her lips was impressive!
Somehow she can really relate what happen during dinner!
Winner winner, chicken dinner 🍗
Licking of lips can mean many things.
Who knows, she might have meant that it feels like a bird is flying around in her belly or whatever. Why would she refer to herself as dog?
That bird was delicious!
@@0MoTheG
She knows that she is a dog. She & her mom have discussed her dog identity & mom's human identity. They have discussed both are animals & friends.
She's a smarty pants!
@@joykelly440 Yes, it is conceivable. That she does can not be random.
@@0MoTheG could be.
She refers herself as a dog because her mom taught her so.
Take a look at the previous videos.
He often ask/state something like:
*Bunny human* then her mom would say *bunny dog animal. Mom human animal*
I thought that Bunny's speech would slow for a bit as she became engaged with Otter, but it seems the cognitive stimulation has made her speech accelerate! She even seemed to be using the buttons to try to talk to Otter while you were napping, as her comments were trying to direct his behavior. That's astounding, and suggests she will teach him the buttons and doesn't care what anyone has to say about it, her mind is made up!! Such a treasure. 🌼
Dumb question, I've been off yt for a while. Is Otter their dog, or just visiting?
@@kensithedog2053 their new puppy they got a little while ago
@@Brooke_Corbyn thanks
it would be so cool to see them have a back and forth conversation!
"Home and park and home" = "Can't we just live in the park?"
I think "good and small" means cute.
That GOOD AND SMALL just about killed me!! Too sweet!
Also, that just screams to be put on merch.
I come back to it all the time just to see that part haha.
She is amazing. Not just her ability to communicate but her complexity. She is very sensitive and also a bit manipulative.
well she taught to ask nicely she always said please in this session :D
She's about the age of an older teen, so yes, a bit bossy as she grows into her adult self! She is still a sweet loving thoughtful and thought filled dog!
What was manipulative? I didn't see it that way.
This reminds me of how Koko the Gorilla taught sign language to a younger gorilla, who then went on to have far greater vocabulary than she did! Imagine if this form of communication was passed on from one dog to the next until all dogs could 'speak'!
She could probably smell the chicken alive and smell it cooked and know it’s a “bird” that went in her “belly” when she ate it. I love Bunny because she is constantly proving that dogs are so much smarter than we give them credit for! 💗
Yes! I have always felt that most animals are quit smart. I swear I am waiting to see Bunny in a video reading a book to Otter at some point! 🤣😂
“I want uni not this stranger cat” - bunny probably
LOL, ‘come on mum, the sooner we go upstairs and sleep the sooner we go park tomorrow!!’ 🤣
Still sounds like she misses the other cat 🥲
I love this girl 🥰
I didn't know the other cat isn't around. I don't want to know what happened. :(
Wait, where is Uni?! I’m out of touch with this I love to visit the channel. But what’s happened to Uni? :/
@@spacecat3198 Sophia, don't read this.
The cat disappeared. They moved to the new house nearby and never found it.
I’m still amazed by what they know and how they are able to connect abstract subjects. I say they, cause my animal/dog used to do the same thing but without the buttons.(he understood the concept of time and directions.. if I said f.e. You get a treat at 8pm he would walk up to me at 8… if I said go find something to play with he searched for his stuffed bunny. If I said to the left he searched left)…unfortunately he died this October the 18th.. I’m miss him… your videos animal/dog/bunny make me realize how lucky we are (have been)
My poodle also knows time because I put her food down at 5 pm. She comes and barks at me when it’s 5 pm and won’t stop until I put her food down. At 6 pm she gets her treat. Naturally at 6 pm she comes and barks at me and won’t stop until I get her treat. These are only 2 examples of her concept of time. I often ask her “how do you know what time it is?
So sorry for your loss. We remember those fur people our whole lives.
Fun fact: I don't remember which chimpanzee it was, but at least one of the famous studies chimpanzees used to try to get their caretakers to feed them by changing the hands on the clock to meal time. 😂
Interacting with Otter through the buttons wowww 👏
It made me laugh when Bunny used her buttons to tell mom that she wanted the cat to go. 😂
Love bunny she’s so smart!👍🏻😁❤️🦊
I going to have to fight urge to say Bird Belly next time I eat chicken. Its one of those phrases that stays with you
Omg! Is Bunny thinking that if you go to bed and sleep now, it'll be morning/daytime when you get up and she can go to the park??!!
That beautiful girl is SO SMART!!💖💖💖😘😘😘👏👏👏👏👏
I feel like Bunny is wearing a black jumpsuit from behind and Idk why it makes me giggle all the time 😆😆😆
I just love Bunny to tears! She probably doesn’t know that most dogs don’t talk.
What would happen if you had. Bunch of dogs get together for play dates, with about half of them button-talkers and the rest not? And have buttons available. Would they form two subcultures? Would the talkers talk to each other when no one is there? Would they teach the others how to use buttons?
Belly bird. This is getting almost scary. She's so intelligent. 🐔 🍗🥣🧠
I think she wants to go to your old house. We built a house and stayed in a trailer when the dogs were puppies. Now they always want to go into the trailer. Lol.
giving her "and" is ambitious. Its so grammatical in nature, very abstract
Good & small for Otter & Belly bird belly dog with the lip licking is an absolute classic lol. Both should be T-shirt slogans! Bunny is just so adorable
Incredible how she understands so much!! It really opens your eyes just how smart animals are.,
If park is morning, then upstairs settle means park is soon! She's genius!
For what it's worth, I think Bunny is fishing for examples of how to use "and." :)
"mom look" :D
"bird belly" "belly bird" "belly dog" - I think there are a couple of take-aways from this: 1) Bunny seems to like chicken and seems to have at least a vague concept of where it goes after she eats it; 2) she might have heard Alexis or Johnny either say "nummy to the tummy" or "get in my belly"; and 3) there's likely to be more "bird belly" styled phrases from Bunny on and shortly after Thanksgiving. ^_^
And also, remember that dogs can feel full like we can! That full feeling comes from our bellies. We've always known that food goes to the belly, even before we understood what the stomach was.
I just noticed the way you have Bunny's legs cut. She has adorable Bunny Socks!
I love the little snow boots you had the groomer give her!
Oh my God ! She's so cute when she tilted her head, waiting for your answer. I am dying !
Bunny's so smart!!!! I can't stop binging videos to see what other creative sentences she can make!
I wonder if her pressing that Uni button at the end of her rant to wake you up was intentional? Like maybe Uni was who Bunny would spend time with when you were busy/asleep/out?
She’s still connecting the word dots. Love her‼️♥️
She wants Uni back, not this Ringo stranger ; ppp
You add the please button just to officially melt our hearts. Why??! 💓💓💓🥰🥰🥰
Bird belly!!!! Omg. She blows my mind!!!!
Hurry & go to sleep so tomorrow comes sooner to play. Love Bunny!
It makes so much sense that the smell of bird is something a dog would know expansively rather than just what we see and hear outside. That she would recognize the smell of the dead chicken before and during its cooking and then in her consumption of it makes so much sense. The degree to which they are still so animal, despite all our breeding and domestication is amazing. it makes sense that they have no concept of meat. That is a human concept and generalization. Their amazing world of smell makes all creatures they consume specific.
Too funny! The OUCH is upstairs!😂
There's a bird in Bunny's belly 😂
That's it. I'm getting this for my next puppy. This is incredible.
Bunny is an angel on earth and must be protected at all costs!
I love how she licked her lips after pressing ‘bird’ ‘belly’ and that’s crazy how she understands she had chicken=bird
Love Bunny and Otter, so smart and Intelligent and the way she pauses and thinks and tries to convey her thoughts, it is so Amazing to watch.
Wow that is really interesting, the research team must be very intrigued with this stuff, you might be intrigued as well. Wow.
I agree, I am truly interested in what the research team thinks.
she's is so incredibly smart. The chicken dinner thing blew me away! These buttons amaze me.
WOW! Just WOW!
She's amazing and I can watch her all day..
Bunny sure wants Ringo gone! LOL! That totally made me snort! LOL!
Two things- Bunny is working through a lot of concerns about Otter. His behavior confuses her a lot, because he's young, MALE and doesn't think like Bunny does. She said he was 'good and small' as a way of saying...he's just young. She's reassuring herself he's not a bad apple, just still growing up. I think she might want some reassurance from you that he will mature. Maybe I'd say it's okay too if Otter behaves differently, since they're both unique (like you and Dad are family but not the same).
Second, I believe she was asking about Uni, your cat she had accepted as family and then went missing. Bunny does not want the new stranger cat to become family because then it will hurt if she goes missing like Uni. This happened with my cat, Ginger. She bonded deeply with a foster cat we had for many months. Ginger was devastated when I found her a home. Months later we adopted another cat, just because Ginger was so lonely without her kitty friend. Our second cat, Juneau, was the friendliest cat, but Ginger refused to bond with her. She was too sad still from losing her foster kitty friend.
Just like with kids, a sudden loss of family member makes them feel they themselves could suddenly lose their place as family. I think Bunny is still struggling with the one two punch of losing Uni and then Otter arriving, and so 'family' may not feel like a very stable concept right now.
This feels like Paranormal Activity, but wholesome.
Balooom: the sound of brains exploding all over the planet.
Bunny is freaking HILARIOUS and BRILLIANT!
Bird belly?
Omg.
Thank you Bunnies mom Linda for sharing with so many of us.♥️♥️♥️
She's the most precious girl!!!
Bunny adorable!
Bird is in dog's belly. Bunny impresses me more with every video.
OMGOODNESS cat stranger, little munchkin 😂.
Much better. More than a minute 🥰
She is just stitching together multiple short videos from Instagram. The short ones are called Stories. Many creators are now doing them
Bunny is the most amazing CZcams star. Love Bunny 💕💕. So cute that you and Otter are on the couch and Bunny is wanting to play/talk. Love that she recognizes that she ate a bird and it’s in her belly 🤣🤣🤣
Bunny videos always make me smile. It’s amazing to see her evolution.
Her haircut is adorable.
Good to have more than a few seconds. Thanks!😁💜
She's so beautiful and smart 😍🥰
Yay! Nothing like starting my day with a Bunny video!!! ❤️
Bunny is too smart. LoL
Hey Bunny, tell us how you feel about Otter..
Bunny: OUCH.
😂🤣
And did Bunny just ask you to yeet your cat?? 😯😏 "bye cat!" 🤣🤣🤣
She asked to get rid of Ringo, but bring back Uni.
It's really sad.
@@johannageisel5390 what have I missed? 😥
@@dipsydoodle7988 Uni has been missing for several months already.
(And Spooky had passed away when Bunny was still young.)
So, of the 3 cats that lived in the household when Bunny arrived, only Ringo is left at the moment. And Ringo has been a rather independent cat that didn't spend that much time indoors.
In the earliest videos (on Insta), Bunny always tried to encourage Spooky and Uni to play with her, but both were not interested.
She did come to some sort of understanding with Uni over time, though, and accepted Uni as part of the family (according to her own words).
But now Uni is gone and Ringo is obviously not regarded as a beloved family member by Bunny.
Bunny has been asking for Uni several times already, but Uni hasn't come back so far.
@@johannageisel5390 oh no! That's awful. I didn't know. 😢
@@dipsydoodle7988 Yeah. :(
Though, I watched the video again and it seems that the "Uni" press was accidental and it was also before Bunny demanded Ringo to go.
So she probably didn't ask for Uni in this video. But she did in earlier ones.
Snoopy does the same head gesture when she wants treats from the kitchen
Not bunny trying to talk to the other dog with the buttons🤣
She is too clever!
Bunny just continues to amaze !🤗 …. And You too, for using this amazing method of communication. I never dreamed that communicating with our pets would be possible and, yet, now it seems so obvious! Whoever dreamed up this system should be very proud of themselves 👍🤗
Thanks for updating
She is just so darn smart.
holy wowow. that dog is deep. I've been around standard poodles and felt they were fully sentient. this experiment shows that to be accurate.
Does bunny have a new hair cut? The top part is extra fluffy, I like it
I believe these are mostly old videos. She had that weird haircut last summer.
My gosh always amazing watching bunny communicate
Aw, she misses Uni and was concerned, but she doesn't like Ringo. Also not the new neighbour dog even though she has so many dog friends she's crazy about. I relate, lol.
What a smart Pup! I want to train my dog to do that.
Bunny’s haircut 💖
OMD she is soooooo smart!!!
Otter is indeed good and smol.
Bunny is so clever
She has come such a long way!!!
"Home and park and home" i think bunny is telling you she want to move. To the park. She loves the park and wanna live there. (With you obviously)
I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist. I think that what you guys are doing is amazing.
SO CUTE! love your channel!
You know, as a non native speaker, watching your videos make me:
1- feel superman in english language
&
2- regress to such a level that when going back to "normal" videos, I can(t get anything out of them, so I qhickly come back to your video . . .
It's an hellish circle or a kind of Groundhog Day (the movie).
😁
I watch these to see how an alien mind thinks.
How did she know food goes into the belly?? 😳
Maybe because when she eats her belly feels full.
It probably feels fully/heavy after. I also imagine she just thinks of her belly as her whole lower area where she's pet and such given I'm pretty sure she couldn't know what organs are inside her.
@@kioku618 what if Bunny eventually studies anatomy?! 🤣
Adorable.
