It's pretty cool seeing what Thanos would be like as one of the good guys and sad to think on another universe he has a better relationship with Nebula. One thing I didn't get was why the black order didn't seem recognise him or Nebula. They were his adopted children too right?
People need to consider that thanos is caught off guard, no stones, no armor, no weapons, meanwhile proxima and obsidian are armored and wielding uniquely powerful weapons. We saw that thanos was still able to fend of cull obsidian with a smile until proxima starts slashing him.

Thanos barely landed a punch on them and just kept defending. Keep in mind he's able to go toe to toe with Hulk and win. Realistically, they would hardly even be able to stun him before he get to his senses and punch them into oblivion.

I think Cull Obsidian has a strength on par with Thanos' plus with Proxima Midnight's agility, I think they really have the upper hand especially that Thanos probably didn't trained a lot and is less equipped.

Sure, he isn’t a bloodthirsty war mongerer anymore, but it’s still friggin’ Thanos, one of the most intelligent beings in the universe with a thousand years of battle experience. The man who was able to take a flawless victory against Hulk and match Captain America and Thor, probably the best fighters on Earth, in combat. He was smart enough to disarm Cap and Thor before wailing on them and his combat speed with Hulk was so fast and precise. Yet in this episode, Thanos’ punches are so sluggish and imprecise. He didn’t even think of a way to strategically take on Cul Obsidian and just fought head on. The way Marvel has portrayed Thanos is Phase 4 is legitimately disgraceful.
