If Odin wanted to wipe them out he would've wiped them out sitting on his throne..he barely used 0.1% of the Odin Force..he was just trying to test his daughter same way he tested Thor.
Odin is not infinite in the MCU. Truth is when the Bifrost was destroyed it cost a lot of his power to just send Thor to Earth during the events of Avengers. So he is not as powerful in the MCU.

Everytime i see those Rings in action I can't help but be impressed. The martial arts combined with the rings is so beautiful and powerful. Love to see it

Hella's first action after coming back was literally wiping her own people... and the fact that in the what if They made her so concious about everything only makes it worse, Thor denied his mistakes and ways and was forced into a scenario where He was powerless, where He had to sacrifice that bad part of him... I loved this episode just one doubt if Gungnir uses Odins Power to operate, and without Odin its just another Uru spear, why does Hela think separating it from Odin will help them? I mean he can just directly use his Odinforce on them. Although we have never seen Odin fight without his spear and throw energy blasts.

That shit completely owned Wenwu with the 10 rings in the movie, and Hela got to add that onto her already unmatched fighting skills...it is pretty clear even as a mortal her fighting skills are beyond anyone else, then she learned asian magic...OP template stacking yo...
tbh i hated how under powered odin is in this.. he should of completly wrecked them both lol also not a fan of how the ten rings or portrayed in the mcu.. other than that dope episode!! hela is sucha badass character.

Definitely my favorite episode. Love seeing Hela more than just a villain and world of Asgard meeting the world of Ten Rings/Tao Lo. I love Hela’s development similar to Thor and Loki. Plus I like seeing Wenwu being able to take down multiple asgardians with ease (and as ever being an Amazon chaser lol)
The older he get, the stronger he will be. Hela got no change against him. And remember, the Odin's force can only be tranfer to someone else if he is dead. Just a test, nothing more. If he want, he's just sitting on his throne, summon the Bifrost to kill them all.

season 2 is sh*t. there powers doesn't need weapons to exert. okay Odin used Odin force to lock her powers inside her helmet which he didn't done in the 616 universe instead lock her up which makes sense. and Odin powers were never locked in his spear if they were then thor can use them in Ragnarok. also when odin locked Thor powers once he unlocked them by worthiness hwme doesn't need mjolnir to use them. same goes to hela. also Odin powers is his knowledge and magic which he can do without the spear. so hela using Odin powers with odin spear make no sense. it is like writers are completely ignoring previous facts and lore.

While the What If series suffers so much from power balancing and plot armor, it has better fight choreography and creativity than the main MCU.

I understand this is a what if series but the pandering is next level. This is such a departure from Hela’s character that it feels like revisionism even within the context of a what if. And then they fodderized Odin. But I get it it’s bold it’s brave.

The MCU nerfed all of the non-human Avengers, but Thor and Odin especially. Odin is the most powerful of the Skyfathers, which pretty much makes him one of the most powerful gods in the Marvel universe. He is VASTLY more powerful than Hela, and Tenwu's just a human with alien technology. Heck, once Thor got the Odin-Force, he eventually fought and killed Galactus. GALACTUS.

that's really the thing i don't like about how Marvel represent Asgardians. Aside from a few, they aren't much different from mortals and even thoses fews rely too much on magic trinkets.

Absolutely loved how the story played out, just hated at how this what if is so cartoonish compared to the rest with Hela's crown working completely different to Thor's hammer, and how she became deified upon crowning. Also, gotta say Odin is so weak that it surprises me he conquered the 9 realms.
