Don’t get it. Looks like kings are about to intentionally let the hawks win to avoid the oilers, but why suddenly tie the game and win it. If they wanted to win in the first place could’ve easily done it up 3-1

It's a hockey game, things happen, and at this point it doesn't matter who you play in playoffs because everyone in playoffs is loaded. The most inconsistent team out of the 8 in WC are Kings so it really makes no difference whom you going to be playing against.
It's playoffs, you have to bring everything you've got, whatever anyone says about "playoff like games" in regular season is bunch of BS. Playoffs are totally different animal because that's where the real hate takes hold and underdog can win everything and vise versa.

Kings were 1-3 against the Oilers but the games were close. Against the Stars they got embarrassed and were 0-3 against them.
We could have played with Dallas, but we chose Edmonton..good, but to score 4 goals at 3:1 and then try to equalize, I will be weak enough to fight for the Stanley Cup...the playoffs are very tough and every mistake he punishes differently than in the regular season and a match like this, which we could have lost, will be difficult to return in the playoffs...otherwise I love you GKS❤️
When you see Soderbloom in goal you know its a guaranteed loss. Only this crap hawks team could have a game won then the usual STUPID penalty and then a vomotous loss.
He was not to blame for anything tonight. This Hawks team doesn’t know much about how to defend in this league and they would’ve still won it had we not taken that dumb penalty. I don’t have the stats for grade A chances but they had to be something like 20-5 LA.
Valiant effort from the Hawks to go ahead 4-3 in the third. Bummer Kurashev took a delay of game penalty completely unforced. Otherwise a really good season for him. Nazar, Slaggert and Reichel looked good today. Bedard wasn’t able to accomplish anything. Seemed every play he tried was either an incomplete pass or a Kings takeaway.. he was not really in this game at all and capped it off with a -3 (on for every even strength goal against). Otherwise he had a great rookie season and deserves the Calder.
If the Hawks care to compete anytime soon it’ll be crucial to get more experienced good veterans into this group.. perhaps something in the like of Toews and Kane? Davidson is right in thinking giving space to the young players to develop.. only problem is a lot of them struggle to figure out the game and need leadership, it’s too much weight on their young shoulders and they won’t develop well with too much responsibility early on. I might be wrong.
Kicking ? Tough call, some of those calls are 50/50 I think they made the right call
It was looking like a sure win for the Hawks but let it slip away 🙄 Not that we have anything really to fight for but a win is still nice.

I have no interest in either of these teams personally, but i just dont see the Oilers getting passed L.A three years in a row. But who knows I guess
Kings PK has to neutralize the Oilers PP and Talbot has to find the fountain of youth to stonewall his former team! Last year the in the playoffs, the Kings PK was destroyed by the Oilers PP and Korpisalo was not that good. Despite that, it still went 7 games.

@@algrundau9441 I'm not sure what you were watching, as he wasn't good enough. There was a reason they didn't resign him. His playoff performance was way below how he performed in the regular season, after the Kings traded for him. They let Korpisalo go for good reason. Talbot has a far better playoff track record, and despite him being age36 he gives the Kings a better chance then what Korpisalo gave them.
@@dmonsef ..When Kings signed Talbot, a LOT of eyebrows were raised...There is a reason the Oilers did not re-sign Talbot.

OMG, Talbot had a really bad game in this one. Allowing 4 goal on 13 shots against a team that drafted 1st overall last draft is not going to get it done. A save percentage of 0.692 is not something you can hang on your defense who only allowed 13 shot for you to stop while literally outscoring them by a 3 to 1 margin. I'm not sure what the goalie coach has in mind, but Talbot needs to get locked in if the Kings are going to have a chance at getting out of the 1st round.
