That has got to be one of the worst takes I have ever heard about an NHL team. I would understand the jets, cause of ticket sales, but Calgary is a extremely consistent fan base and honestly just need two years to be a great team

Actually, Coronato was very overrated based on reports over the last year. The consensus is that he may not even be an NHL'er in his lifetime. He has a lot of development to do.

A little pissed at pospisill. Wolf was 9 seconds away from a shutout and Kadri was one goal away from 30. Who takes the penalty?
99.99% of the time they let that go and probably wouldn't have even called it if he wasn't jumped by two guys.
Shows he gives a damn by still trying. You want them playing like it's game 1 or 20 or 40 and again, that's usually let go.

The sharks have become the first team to finish a full 82 game schedule with fewer than 20 wins since the 2001-02 Atlanta Thrashers. I’m glad the season is over. They’ve got a good prospect pool and it’ll continue to get better. Hopefully we win the Celebrini lottery. Looking forward to the off-season
The defense looked bad today Grier has got to get rid of some of the roster unless he wants another sure thing top 3 pick. It probably is best to be awful one more year on purpose though.
Celebrini would be nice. If we don't get the #1 pick, I think its time to draft a blue-chip defenseman.

@@seangalvin672 Yeah that was pretty obvious. I read the sharks had the most people missing games to injury in the whole nhl. It was something like that. He never got a fair deal because Couture was hurt and the 2 first round prospects were not even in the NHL yet. I am not saying he is a good or bad coach but just that the roster was awful no matter how good or bad a coach in his position was in. He should not have taken the job.

Calgary did more to hurt their draft position by winning in the last few weeks of the season. They didn't read the memo. At least Wolfie got some experience.

You’re not welcome. I’m so disappointed with this team. We can’t even lose when we need to lose. At 68 GP, we needed 12 losses in order for PIT, BUF, SEA, NJD, MTL, OTT, and ARI to pass us so we could get a 5th overall pick, and instead only we passed PIT, BUF, and NJD, leaving us with a 9th overall pick. A colossal failure to lose. The only upside is that we finally made it out of the 17th-22nd place no man’s land for teams on the upside _after_ a rebuild.
It is better to just get a sure thing top 3 pick like the sharks and trade down unless you win the lottery and that decision gets harder. Teams try to win too soon and it leads to nowhere like buff going 13 years without playoffs.
@@JesusFriedChrist doesn't matter where you draft, that means nothing. Zary was what, 24th? Puljujarvi, Galchenyuk, Nolan Patrick and the famous Yakupov are all high draft picks that became turds. You just have to pick solid hard working players that want to learn and improve. Based on the Sharangovich trade, Conroy and his scouts know what a hockey player looks like, so I trust he'll make some good picks. Have some faith.

NHL reminding how Bush league its officials are with super soft call to rob any intrigue from end and needlessly take shutout away from young goalie in a nothing game. Assume ref played a parley of no shutout late in the third & then looked for an excuse to impact, using marked man Pospisil (2 minutes playing to the whistle & extra 2 for getting horse collared in front). Same old almost legit NHL.
Move the sharks, B.C deserves another team. No more Bettman destinations where he likes to keep warm before getting sore bummed.
